Solid choice for takeout Chinese, had the sesame chicken and the spicy beef. The chicken was crispy and not over-sauced, and the beef had a lot of veggies, which I liked. The food is meh here. I'd normally give it two stars based on previous experiences. But this last visit... my mother warned me that the last time she ate here, she got an upset stomach. Thank you Yelp! I was guided by the past good reviews to find this gem in Jackson Heights. The food is really very good. Try the famous Orange flavored beef (delish) and their chicken in garlic sauce is also very good. We tried so many dishes now, as we take out about once a week. We have not been disappointed...fried rice and egg rolls are not greasy at all. And the people working there are really nice; friendly, appreciative for your repeat business, never forget the 'free sodas' that come with an order over a certain amount and very generous with sauces (duck sauce, soy sauce or hot sauce). Portion sizes are big and everything has always been fresh. So glad to have found this place! read more

Not as good as saw shack, but will do in a pinch. The general tsos chicken was saltier and more oily than i prefer. Delivery was not too much of a wait. The actual restaurant isn't very impressive, definitely take out or deliver are best. Caters to a non- chinese customer base so the dishes aren't so authentic. read more

Another major culinary disappointment in my life. As stated in a previous review I was a regular in this place for many years. HOWEVER, about six months ago, I ordered the usual Chicken and Broccoli with Garlic Sauce and white rice. The place was closing and they were cleaning everything, I admit I saw them spraying the cooking area with cleaning supplies and I was nervous about contamination. Well, I went back to the office and ate the food. Immediately after eating the food I had a nauseous feeling and later that night lets just say I was deathly sick for two days. I almost had to be hospitalized. I don't know if it was unclean rice cooker bacteria. or cleaning fluids or just old salmonella chicken, I really don't know. But Sadly to say I have not had Chinese food since and this place for me is OFF-LIMITS. I am an extremely loyal person but I wont take another chance with this place, So long Dave and Dennis. I ordered a general tso chicken to go and when I arrived home it had a strand of Brillo like the one you use to wash pots. I took it back to the restaurant and showed it to the employee. She took the food to the back and gave me another order. When I went back home there was another piece of Brillo at the bottom of my food. I can only think they went to the back and just transferred my food onto another plate and gave it back to me. I will never eat there again. read more

I've ordered from here twice, based on all the good recommendations. Once I got the pork fried rice--it was kind of bland, nothing special, but otherwise inoffensive. The second time I tried the chicken fried rice--it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken was rubbery and slimy, it did not have consistency of stir fried chicken, or chicken at all, unless the meat they started with was all fat and trimmings.
