Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water

We tried the New Saigon restaurant in East Boston and really enjoyed it! My family loved the pho. I had the delicious seafood yellow noodle soup and my daughter had spicy beef noodle soup (bun no hue). They were both really good. The rice with grilled beef was a hit as well. Portions are generous--we couldn't finish it all. Thai iced tea and coconut water were refreshing too. Great food and generous servings. Highly recommend!

Service was helpful and quick, food and ingredients all very fresh. Could use better vegan options because the tofu spring roll and tofu banh mi is just basic fried tofu wrapped in rice paper or banh mi bread. I still very much enjoyed the freshness of all the food and appreciate that the restaurant accommodated my request for Lemongrass Tofu Vermicelli. Overall if I was in the area I would visit again and maybe try the Vegan Pho. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Vibes is a no frills vietnamese fast casual with sriracha and hoisin sauce on every table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I appreciate that they provide silver forks instead of plastic.

Pleasant surprised with this place, would definitely go again! I've never been to this area of East Boston, but we found it easy to find parking and make our way inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space has a decent amount of seats and when we got in, we were one of a few parties so it wasn't too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was relatively efficient, not overly friendly but with a place like this, that was fine. Portions were large and the food was solid in taste. Good broth, lots of meat, lots of noodles. For pho, it was great. A tiny bit more expensive than I would've liked, but overall we had a great meal and I wouldn't mind coming back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Look I don't expect this place to be spotless clean, but after my most recent visit I am so grossed out I cannot get myself to return.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My initial experience went great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the 2nd time I went to the back where the restrooms are and that's when I was in shock.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To my left I looked and saw the kitchen, there was a big container of spices just sitting on the floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Next to the tables in the back there was a bunch of junk built up in front of a door that had string tied around the knobs to keep it closed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amongst one of those things was a dirty vacuum.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were people eating by this garbage built up, I was disgusted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is genuinely not ok. I felt like my health was at risk and I'm not even being dramatic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathrooms are gross.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I honestly went back to my table and didn't want to finish my food which sucks bc the food is good but after seeing the hygiene of the place, I will not be returning nor doordashing again

Awesome Vietnamese spot in Orient Heights. I wanted to mix it up from the usual pizza. Banh mi is pretty reasonably priced, drink variety was acceptable.

Went here for the first time in July and tried their vermicelli bowl and egg rolls. So I had to come back to try their pho soup. It did not disappoint. I got #28 pho with steak and well done flank. The bowl was huge and they were generous on the amount of meat in it. The soup came out very hot which is important to me and it also had a lot of noodles. There were too much for me that I had to take some noodles out because I did not want the noodles to absorb all the soup. The flavor of the pho was good and I like that they put a good amount of green onions and cilantro in the soup. Fried egg rolls were also good. I came around 11:45am and service was good and attentive. There were a lot of take out orders and two other customers in the restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, great place for Vietnamese. Highly recommend.

Placed order via Doordash. If you have the time, it will probably be less expensive to dine-in. Surcharge placed on original order which brought our order of approximately $13 an entree to about $18 per entree. (Quite steep for Vietnamese takeout but understandable for having order picked up and delivered to us at our hotel.) Portions were very generous and food was quite warm when it got to us. (Considering it was in the mid-20s at time of pickup) We would definitely return again if in the area. Thank you for a lovely dinner!

10/10 recommend. Service on point and the food was delicious. I almost ate the plates. For you picky eaters out there. Grilled chicken pho, add beef broth, no veggies but add scallion and cilantro. Thank me later. Wish I could put 10 stars !!!!!!!!!!

I loved that the crispy rolls were vegan but it was very taro (or potato?) heavy and the taro was just slightly undercooked. Pork looked and tasted old with not much flavor and no grilled taste. It was the most disappointing part of the meal. I ended up just tossing the pork out and eating the rest, which was tolerable with the fish sauce. Wish the fish had some fresh herbs - it only came with noodles, iceberg, cucumber, peanuts, and pickled carrots and daikon. Also wished the veggies were all cut the same way for a better cohesion in texture. The lettuce pieces were kinda large and the cucumbers were sliced into discs rather than strips like everything else. Fast service, but would recommend the noodles. I did see lots of other people getting the sandwiches, which is probably what I should have ordered.

We walked into a casual, straightforward space that makes it the type of place you stop by for a quick, warm meal rather than a long dining experience. The atmosphere is nice with a busy, fast-paced energy that fits the style of food being served. The menu covers many Vietnamese staples, including different styles of pho, bun bo hue, rice dishes, and vermicelli bowls, giving plenty of options depending on what you are craving. The main draw here is the pho, but it landed a bit differently than expected. The broth had a lighter profile compared to other pho spots, with less of that deep, aromatic richness that usually makes the dish stand out. It was still enjoyable as a warm noodle soup, but the flavor felt a little more muted and did not have the same depth as some other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The beef quality was solid, and the portions of noodles and meat were reasonable, but the broth is the part that makes the biggest difference in pho, and here it leaned more subtle than bold. Beyond pho, the menu offers a good selection of other Vietnamese dishes. The bun bo hue is a nice option if you prefer something with more spice and stronger flavors, while the rice and vermicelli dishes provide alternatives to the usual noodle soup. The restaurant also offers familiar sides and drinks like Thai iced tea, which pair naturally with the meal. Service is generally quick and the restaurant has a busy, efficient style, especially during peak hours. The staff handles the steady flow of customers well, and the food comes out without much delay. The location makes it convenient for a casual meal, but the fast pace can sometimes make the experience feel a little rushed. Prices are also a bit higher compared to some other Vietnamese restaurants, especially considering the portion size and the lighter broth profile, which may not feel like the best value for what you get. Phở Pasteur is a convenient option for Vietnamese food in the area, especially if you are looking for a quick bowl of pho. The food is solid, but compared to other pho spots, the lighter broth and higher pricing make it harder to stand out. It works well for a casual meal, though there are other places nearby that offer a more memorable pho experience. For a straightforward, no-fuss stop when you are in the neighborhood, it fills the gap, but it does not quite reach the level of a destination pho spot.

Vietnamese cuisine is traditionally rooted in affordability, sharing an abundance of food, and enjoying good laughs with great company. By trying to force the concept into a high-end parallel, it just ends up feeling mediocre and hollow. The value simply isn't there--a single appetizer, one main entree, and three refreshments came out to a whopping $105. To make matters worse, the service was incredibly judgmental. Because our party of three only ordered that amount, the staff pretty much ignored us for the rest of the night after taking the order. The awkwardness started the absolute second we sat down. Before we could even settle into our chairs or get handed a menu, the waiter demanded to know what we wanted to drink. When we asked to see a menu first, he looked completely confused as to why we'd need one. After another staff member finally took our order, we sat there waiting for what felt like an eternity. When the food eventually arrived, they gave us sharing plates and chopsticks. We asked for a spoon to properly eat the claypot rice, and the waiter gave us another judging look. As Asians, we obviously know how to use chopsticks, but you objectively need a spoon to scoop the claypot SAUCE out of the pot! While the food itself is decent, the cramped atmosphere, poor hospitality, and inflated price tag mean I won't be rushing back.
