Very good Chinese food with large portions. Restaurant is in a shady neighborhood but they deliver if you are staying local to them, I was in the Courtyard Marriott a block away. I really liked this place. I work for a local university but it is a bit far away so I had to pick up. That was convenient because I was able to go in a see what the place is like. It look nice from the outside and quite clean in the kitchen. Also we ordered the chicken w/broccoli and the generals chicken. Both were good. Typically the sesame or generals chicken makes it or brakes it for me and needless to say, you can actually see the chicken meat in there... unlike some other local places that have a weird grey mistery meat of weird consistency, that or they have a shred of chicken in a lump of batter. The only thing about the generals chicken is that it has a bit of an aftertaste... but it may just be one of the condiments. Their fried rice was good too, nicely made and not greasy. ordered my food via telephone at 1:15pm, after being tols it qould take 30min, I called again at 2:15, was told to wait a few more minutes for the driver; it is now 2:30, and I still have not received my food. BEST chinese food in the area. I've had the general tso chicken, hunan shrimp, fried rice, roast pork lo mein, pork and shrimp eggrolls, and the hot and sour soup and everything is phenomenal!! The quality of the ingredients aren't comprised with the price. Always fresh. Typically, I resort to their dinner special that includes pork fried rice and an eggroll or soup of your choice. There isn't another place in the area thay truly compares and that is a loaded statement because of the ubiquitous amount of Chinese restaurant sprinkled throughout the area. Recently needed to replace my neighborhood Chinese food joint so I researched a bit and two things drew me to this place: it's high review level and it's weird name. I like weird so I gave it a shot. Only tried one dish, spicy shredded beef with pork fried rice. Pretty tasty, but I judge my Chinese food spots by their fried rice. It's make or break. And I was pleased to find that the fried rice here was great; fluffy and flavorful but without any greasy flavor or feel to it, plus just the right amount of vegetables and meat. My husband and I have been trying to find a good Chinese place close to home. We finally found it! Garlic chicken was very good, though it could use a bit more of a kick. I also had the shrimp lo mein, I really liked the flavor. My husband had the mixed vegetables with garlic sauce. He's always picky about veggie dishes and gave it the thumbs up. Called up and asked to place an order.. This was the conversation, with someone who clearly understood English: I would like to place an order for delivery. (2.4 miles away) "No delivery" But your menu on your web site says you deliver "No, no delivery" You might want to at least update your web site so it is correct "No we do not deliver" (Something tells me they are not going to bother to update their website) Would have liked to try their food, but not if they could care less about customer service. The reason I took off a star is because they only take cash so if you planned on paying with your card you're forced to use their ATM and give them an extra 3 bucks w/ their Atm fee plus your bank's fee just to buy your food. Both times I ordered from here, the food was fresh and hot. They deliver fast but not "there's no way this food is fresh" fast. Also they are very polite! Surprisingly, the delivery is done by bike no matter the weather- yet the deliverymen never have an attitude. You can order over the phone or online.
