My family and I used to eat here a lot before the management and workers changed and it used to be our go-to spot. Although the food quality lessened slightly, it was still something you can somewhat enjoy. However, their customer service has by far degraded the most. Today, we ordered a 12pc Chicken Combo with Onion Rings for Delivery. After a long day of not eating, we were really looking forward to it. They have a "No Going Upstairs" Rule which we can somewhat understand. We pay our total with tips as we usually do and when we open it we notice there's no Onion Rings. Maybe they forgot to put it in the bag, no biggie, we'll call them. After calling them, they apologize but say they'll send it and it'll arrive in 20 minutes. Though frustrating, we oblige and thank them. 20 minutes go by, then 30, then 40, so we call them again. We ask them to either send a refund or the Onion Rings, to which they say it'll take 20 minutes again. By then more than an hour has passed. Right now over 3 hours have passed and we still have nothing. Completely ruined the experience! Will most likely not be eating here again! read more

I ordered here tonight via GrubHub (I know, I know - bad, but it was easy and 25% your first order was a deal I couldn't pass up). Got a double cheeseburger with fries, a Philly cheesesteak, a garden salad, 1 soda and a juice. The only special instructions in my order were "no peppers, onions or vegetables on the cheesesteak. Cheddar cheese if possible, thanks!". I know what I wrote. Order comes, we go down to the lobby because they have a "we won't go upstairs" rule. Okay fine, I get it. But the delivery guy called to let me know he was "here", I asked where "here" was (specifically I asked if he was outside of my door) he said yes. Lies, he was in my lobby. I was expecting this this but why not say lobby on the phone? Whatever. Annoying, but no biggie. I open of my Philly cheesesteak excited to dig in and it's full of onions and peppers. So many that I get just dust it off. It was embedded into the meat. Sigh. I call to ask about it and was very nice, guy who picked up was unnecessarily rude with a nasty, nasty tone. You got the wrong girl, papa. I don't deal with BS. He said there were no special instructions, I know what I did on my end and know it went through. Even if it WAS a GrubHub error does not mean their customer service has to be so awful. Food? Food was mediocre. Fries were solid and the only reason this is a 2 star review instead of 1. I haven't written a single negative review during this pandemic, I know it's not the time. I don't write many negative reviews. This place earned it for being such a-holes on the phone when I called nicely. The name had me fooled when it first came out but it's nothing more than your friendly neighborhood chicken and pizza joint...but is it?! They don't just settle with the the basic chicken and beef burger but also gives you options to enhance the burger. I'm not too fond of their fries but do love their potato wedges! They've even gone as far as taking the typical cart food and revamped it to taste more better than what you'll find out on the streets! And for those of you who are Muslim, all food here is Halal. For you non-Muslims, that doesn't mean street cart food lol. It's how the meat and food in general are prepared for Muslims to eat. Think of it as our version of kosher. No. Halal means how meat is prepared and is typically a cleaner, healthy alternative to regular butchered meat. So now that we are over this, Pepperoni Pizza, Bacon cheeseburgers! They're halal! Great munchies spot. Their chicken and wings are better than those big franchises too, in my honest opinion. Philly style cheese steaks are great. Burgers are my favorite, and they have good sized pizza. Service to me has always been great. Ordering food can sometimes be iffy. Terrible customer service!!! I order food from them all the time and the delivery guy NEVER comes upstairs even though i leave clear instructions to deliver the food to the second floor. I am a personal trainer and often I have to leave my session because he does not come upstairs. Today when I ordered he called me once and I didn't pick up since i was with a client and he didnt deliver it. Upon calling the restaurant, they told me and I quote "You aren't a king, we cant cater to you personally." The owner claimed that he called me 10 times when i only received 1 missed call. I really like this place! It's halal, it satisfies my fast food cravings on those days self-control becomes overrated, and they deliver to my house. Joy! So the food! I've tried the chicken, fries and hamburger and the (huge) pizzas. The food has always been pleasing. However, the reason for the 4 stars is that without fail they have always messed up my order. Whether I decide to get delivery or take-out, either something is missing or something is substituted for something else. Macaroni salad is not the same as mac n' cheese! So check you order is my only advice, meaning ask them to repeat your order, then you repeat it, then make them repeat it again. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. read more

I've been coming here for years with my family, and I've never had such a bad experience as last night around 12. There is a seriously hot-tempered middle eastern employee with a light beard, tall and looked about in his late twenties who became verbally aggressive and threatened to fight my uncle after we got into an argument over the order. This employee got my uncles order WRONG. the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT. And this guy had the nerve to tell us we were confused?? and was beyond, BEYOND rude. Couldn't even discuss the issue politely. Never have I been disrespected by a worker so much. He attacked my race, called me a whore and told my uncle to come outside and fight him after we asked to speak to the boss. I had to force me and my uncle to leave the store because I was afraid for my safety. I'm not going to stop contacting the restaurant until this man is dealt with, or I can go straight to the Better Business Bureau. We don't care about the food, it was his unprofessional and violent behavior that was over the limit. This man needs to be fired. Ive lived by this yoint for 4 years and its probably the best food spot around here. They literally make everything so good their pizza is huge but you always want more, their burgers are the best tasting burgers and it taste fresh to bone. they NEVER came. i ordered from them at around 2:00 am and i had to contact grubhub to see if they received my order or not because i didn't get an email confirmation. at about 2:17 am, i finally get the email confirmation after contacting grubhub. the delivery estimate stated that the food should arrive around 3:05-3:15 am. at about 3:25 am i grow unpatient so i contact grubhub again. they tell me that the restaurant isn't responding (which makes sense since new texas fried chicken closes at 3:00 am). so i receive a refund and a credit for my inconvenience. shoutout to grubhub for their excellent service. they kept on apologizing as well. they were amazing. however, i will NEVER be ordering from this restaurant ever again. what a total waste of my time. if the owner is reading this, learn how to provide good service. or at least teach your employees if you know how to. if you can't make the delivery call me and tell me that you can't. don't make me wait and contact grubhub multiple times questioning my order. disappointed i am left hungry and upset at my decision to order from here. never again. read more
