Burger Spot is one of those places I can always count on. Local and always busy, but friendly service. The interior is small, but seating moves fast. I usually get the little cheeseburger, which is my go-to on an easy day when I just want something familiar and satisfying. This time I switched it up and tried the loaded fries, and they really hit the spot. They were perfect for what I was craving. It felt like eating nachos but with burger flavors and no bun, which I loved. The vegan cheese honestly fooled us. It was creamy and tasty and did not feel like a substitute at all. The only thing I would add is some pickle toppings and maybe a little chopped onion to give it extra bite. Pricing, it can be a bit more than what some expect, but considering the options, it's doable for that perfect late night craving. So, Burger Stop on 108th st charging more than menu prices. When noticed on my receipt I was told they "raised their prices but the software wasn't updated" and "there's nothing they can do about it because the manager is off". When they called the owner on the phone he gets an attitude telling me "it's not illegal to do that". And I have an attitude when I was actually very polite to the worker when I pointed it out. It is against consumer law to list one price and charge another. Because of his attitude I finally told him that he'd be losing a customer over two dollars and I'd be notifying the consumer protection dept. At that point he asked what I wanted him to do and I explained that I'd simply add a soda to make it up. He accepted that all the while insisting they could legally do that. As I left they turned off the overhead menu board even though the menu screens displayed on the back of the registers still have the incorrect prices. Guy in front of me spent $100. That means he was overcharged about $10-$15. Very poor customer service but good food I'd give it four out of five but subtracting for the hassle. read more

Overall everything was good, nothing that blew our minds, but solid. Chicken - Unanimously voted best burger by the group. I would love a little more crispiness to the batter, but the chicken itself was juicy and tender. Not much to complain about. This will be my go to on future visits. Beef - The cheeseburger looked like a hot mess, but it was not bad. I prefer a nicely charred medium rare burger, but this is more of the Shake Shack style - two 4oz patties cooked through. Unfortunately it doesn't have that charred crust with all that umami flavor. Fish (limited time) - Pretty decent, though I would get it with less veggies next time and allow the star to shine. They also really need to add a simple tartar sauce for this sandwich if they bring it back permanently. Onion rings - Batter falls off a bit too easy and I do prefer the traditional beer batter more, but overall it was quite tasty. French fires - Definitely a weak spot for the restaurant. Asked for extra crispy. Got very not crispy. Asked to have them refried, but still came out barely crispy. Vanilla milk shake - Not too thick, not too thin. The right consistency and creaminess. Delicious! This place was not an epic new find, however, it is somewhere I will keep in mind for a nice quick, relatively inexpensive meal, with friendly service. read more

My first burger all soggy and not cooked well. The onions and stuff were not also not fixed properly. Then I ordered Cajuns fries and they send me hand cut fries. They didn't provide any utensils. I ordered from here 3 times. The first time was fairly good. So I went to the store the second time. It was all young men like 20-30 ages but I picking up an order to go. The store is small but it barely open. I don't know how are they running it. The second time was worse than the first but better than the third and final time!! They are never open.. lived in this area for a year and I've never seen their place open. Hours of operation are definitely not accurate. I've even called and confirmed with their automated service for their hours and it says they're open Sunday - Friday 1130am-1am but I came on a Sunday at 730 and they're closed lol. Fun food. I like that it doesn't have a giant menu. If you don't want burger type food, you'd have to go elsewhere. I had a cheese burger (non-dairy cheese) for the first time in my life and my mother had the Oklahoma onion burger. Both were delicious and made exactly as requested with our choices from a wide selection of additions. (Never knew people put pineapple on burgers!) The fries were made from fresh potatoes but weren't that amazing. I'd have preferred crispier. Was offered to fry again but I didn't bother. The wings were AMAZING! Highly recommend them. They have vegetarian options too and even have shakes. The best part was the service. Shaya, at the counter taking orders and supervising, made everyone feel welcome. Made an attempt to remember people's names, was very friendly, patient when people were deciding what to order. Something about 108th - I would rate a majority of the food found there as average or slightly above. Not this place. This place is great and exceeded expectations - burgers were perfectly cooked and juicy, and their massive selection of sauces guarantees that you'll have an experience tailored to your tastes. We also got fries and chicken bites. The fries were natural cut and delicious without being overly seasoned or greasy. The chicken bites were so tender - not overly fried or breaded so you could actually enjoy the taste of the chicken. Cheap spot, pay so much for a burger and they don't even give you fries on the side. Also, if you want to sit and eat there they don't provide paper plates or a tray, they will just give you some foil and you can eat off there.
