Couldn't stop eating it. Way better crunch than what I remember from KFC. * Ube pie: easily the best item. Perfect sweetness with a really satisfying crispy shell. * Peach pie: same great crunch but way too sweet for me * Spaghetti: just okay. The sauce is on the sweeter side and not something I'd order again. * Gravy: a bit salty and forgettable, didn't matter much because the chicken carried everything. * Overall: skip the extras and just get a bucket of chicken + ube pie. I should've listened to my coworker from the start.

The tables are oddly located in the middle of the room due to the design of the floor plan. Although, the food is amazing. Chickenjoy! Always the best - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The spaghetti is great and very Filipino style. I've noticed two counters up front but only 1 counter is taking orders. There are people at the back working like crazy due to orders over orders. I recommend just getting in line for orders. I did both online and in person and the in person is way faster than online. Isnt that weird? Anyways, i love the food that's why i go back here despite all the hustles and bustles.

Burger King Chicken Club Combo Review!…read more I recently tried the Chicken Club Combo at Burger King and, with the senior discount, my total came to just $10.65! I asked for onion rings instead of French fries, and the sandwich came with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and Swiss cheese on top of the chicken. Everything was nice and soft, freshly cooked, and really good! For the price and the amount of food, I think this is a great deal for seniors. I definitely recommend giving it a try! The server girl in the early 1130 shift on Monday was excellent. I didn't take her name, but I wanted to tell her that she was so nice and smiling and accommodating more people like her need to work in places like this making us feel very comfortable.. Highly recommended!

3.75 Can order online/the app, in person or the kiosks…read more(shows more items than the posted menu or the app). Got deals after signing up and used one right away. Name or order number is called when order is ready. Finally saw Palabok fiesta on the menu (When first opened, I didn't notice it on the menu, and in a couple of Manhattan locations I've been to.) There's a combo @ ~$35 - with 10-pc chicken, 3 small sides. Pricier compared to other fast food chicken places. Can get spaghetti as a side. Classic fried chicken is ok-better when eaten right away for the crispiness; not too salty but plain tasting to me (and I prefer without gravy). I used to get the spicy ones so maybe next time. Peach mango pie was good but just syrupy, not as much fruit bits. Mango coconut quencher with jelly was ok, sweet, similar to fruit punch but I like this better. Restrooms available, with a code. They have a good location- near the Queens Center, Queens Blvd and Woodhaven Blvd buses and subway.

Chicken wings (5/5): We ordered only flats but they gave us a mix anyways... The breading is very good! Our wings were juicy on the inside and coated thoroughly. I preferred the soy garlic and partner enjoyed the sweet/spicy. Spicy stir fried pork (Jeyuk Bokkeum) (4/5) $27: The dish came with a small bowl of miso soup and bowl of white rice. This spot is a 3-table operation focused entirely on perfecting Thai chicken rice--and they nailed it. The move here: The Chicken: Poached to absolute perfection. Tender, juicy, no fluff. The MVP: The chicken heart. It was so good I had to double down and order a second round. If you know, you know. The Rice: Fragrant ginger rice that actually has flavor, paired with a radish broth that hits the spot. The Sauce Science: They let you mix your own. I went with the soybean paste + ginger-scallion combo. It's addictive. Do not skip the ginger-scallion. Washed it all down with a solid Thai tea to balance the heat. It's a tiny shop with efficient service and zero ego. A total hidden gem. I'll be back. 81-32 Broadway, Elmhurst #ElmhurstEats #QueensFood #KhaoMunKai

4.5 We really liked…read morethe food here. Got the chicken set for 2. Each bite of chicken/gizzard/liver and rice with the condiments was flavorful. Wished there was more liver. Like a deconstructed and dry version of a filipino soup I love called Chicken Tinola, with similar ingredients too. The set came with soup - was mild and good. I added a bit of the ginger-scallion condiment and liked that too. I think it's the first time I tried Thai iced green tea - slightly sweet for me but lighter bec with half and half. Couldn't give this place a 5 stars though because of the heat. We went there when it was at least 90 degrees, and didn't know it wasn't air-conditioned. There was only 1 oscillating fan which was only ok when it was pointed at our direction. Once it turned, I had to keep fanning myself. The iced drink was refreshing but wasn't enough. We would have left if only we weren't set on trying their Hainan chicken. Will surely return, on a not so hot day. Service was great. Food came out quickly. It must've felt hotter for the staff being in the kitchen but they still had smiles. Nearest train station is Elmhurst Ave stop of M, R and some bus lines along Broadway, but not too far from Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Hts station. Has 4 small tables, and counter seating for 3. No restroom. Cash only.
