I ate a lot of pizza today and Andrew Bellucci's was my favorite of the bunch! I tasted the Classic NYC and the 4 Corner Grandma. There were both absolutely delicious but the Grandma won me over. They both had sauce above the cheese and I love that. It keeps the pizza from drying out. Remarkable how different the two pizzas tasted even though they were made with the same dough! I don't get to Astoria a whole lot but I can't wait to return to Andrew Bellucci's!

Solid slice from Andrew belluccis. Friendly staff. Clean dining space with tables. Bathroom. Plain slice was $3.80 even in cash. Good ingredients. No flop. Solid undercarriage. Tasty. A little thicker than I expected but still good neighborhood slice. Also they make a big deal about being the real Bellucci's

I tried the foresterie slice, which was awesome. Crispy and chewy crust with plenty of flavor development, savory mushrooms and just the right amount of cheese on top. There's a bit of herbal flavor that pops out too. Fantastic with a little bit of chili oil, and about $5.50 after taxes for a slice.

Why 5 stars? Because my pizza was simple but delicious. --- --- --- I was told by Jando S to come here for the vodka pizza and he did not lead me astray. In order to make this happen, we had to order a whole, small pie, but the crust was thin enough that my friend and I nearly housed it all, but elected to save a couple slices for his girlfriend. Upon my first few bites, I thought, "eh, it's fine... nothing too special." But as I kept going, my appreciation grew. The crust was perfect. The cheese was subtle, yet addicting. The vodka sauce was there, but not overwhelming. As I walked out, I was stuck between 4 and 5 stars. One day later, as I sat down to write this review, absence has made the heart grow fonder. 5 it is.

Had their plain cheese slice and really liked the sauce and cheese ratio. Compared to other classic NYC slices, I think they are bread/crust is bread-ier than most. I'm a huge fan of focaccia and Sicilian pizza so I really liked it, but I can see a mixed review from someone that does not like that type of pizza.

Coming back to update my review as the pizza is so good here that we decided to come back, despite being treated terribly on our first visit. The staff has been a LOT nicer and more helpful! Even offering to cut a slice in half when they overheard my husband and I talking about sharing a third slice (so nice of them!). As for the pizza... This place has the absolute BEST crust we've had! And we've tried many, many pizzerias since moving to the area back in July. My favorite slice is the creamed spinach - I haven't found anything like it anywhere else. It's sooo good that I often crave it! Also, we learned that they have a patio in the back with extra seating, which is when it's not freezing outside. This is definitely a must-visit pizzeria when in this area!

Really underrated place and hands down one of the best slices in queens! Heck, NYC! Super warm service and such fresh and delicious slices. I ordered one margherita slice to stay for a quick bite and the sweet young girl running the counter gave me a free white slice as well !!! 1000/10 service and food. Thank you!

Food: The food is delicious here! We tried the clam pie (needs to be pre-ordered a day in advance), the spicy vodka rigatoni, and chicken parmesan. Both the pizza and entrees were excellent. The clam on the clam pizza is freshly shucked whole clams; the pie is buttery and flavorful. They also offer a linguine with clam sauce entree which needs to be ordered in advance. Portion sizes of the entrees are big. I would highly recommend any of the dishes here. Service: Staff are attentive and friendly. We were a large group, and the staff came back to give us napkins and check on us from time to time. Ambiance: The place is very casual and not big. They have about eight small tables for dining in. Small tables can be combined for larger groups. They do take reservations for large groups. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Still one of the finest NY pizzerias in Queens and definately in Astoria. Even after Andrew Bellucci's death, they are a go-to for most Astorians. Yesterday I had a slice of Grandma and Big Pauli's, which is a combination of NY, Italian, and Chicago styles with fresh mozzarella, garlic, Parmigiano, black pepper, and olive oil. Everything about the pizzeria has remained the same since Andrew Bellucci died a few years ago, including the decor and seating arrangements. I came away truly satisfied after my meal

Ordered many times for delivery and never had an issue. Their caesar salad is so yummy. I also really like their s'mores cookie, it has a nice hint of salt. The service was fast and efficient. No issues at all. The ambiance was chill, not too packed when I went.

Specialty Grandma- Eggplant. Vodka-Roni is better but this was still pretty tasty

I was yesterday on a walk and pizza crawl where we walked 16/17 miles and went to five Queens pizzerias (shoutouts go to Shorewalkers.) The following five places were the ones we went to with me having been to here once along with Philomena's. Andrew Bellucci's (Astoria) https://www.yelp.com/biz/andrew-belluccis-pizzeria-astoria-4 Philomena's (Sunnyside) https://www.yelp.com/biz/philomenas-sunnyside (had the Spicy Mikey) Rosa's Pizza (Maspeth,) https://www.yelp.com/biz/rosas-pizza-maspeth-2 (had the Upside Down Sicilian) Mano's Pizzeria (Ridgewood) https://www.yelp.com/biz/mano-s-pizzeria-ridgewood (had the Margherita Pizza) New Park Pizza (Howard Beach) https://www.yelp.com/biz/new-park-pizza-howard-beach (had the Mushroom Slice) For this place, I have previously had their Vodka-Roni slice which was outstanding. As I had that prior, I went with one of their Grandma slices and they had a specialty version which was topped with fried eggplant (along with the obligatory basil and cheese like all the other slices post heating) for I believe $5.50 but it might have been $6. This was pretty solid with an alright crust, a not super sweet tomato base though less flavorful than some other spots we went to, and the fried eggplant had a good crunch and was light. I'd stick with the vodka base next time or go with a group and order a clam pie. Low 4 with the vodka-roni getting a mid 4 and this slice getting a mid 3. For general ratings below- Crust order- Philomena's, (small gap,) Mano's (small gap) Andrew Bellucci's, Rosa's (gap,) New Park Pizza Sauce order- Rosa's, Mano's, (gap,) Andrew Bellucci's (small gap,) Philomena's (gap,) New Park Pizza

I finally made the drive to Andrew Bellucci's Pizzeria after leaving the DMV yesterday. This pizzeria was on my hit list of pizzerias that I had not yet gone to. Right on 30th Avenue, it was a welcome sight with the red awning with Andrew's name on it. Place is nice and cozy. The late Andrew Bellucci is honored well at the pizzeria which bears his name with his work shirt in a display on the wall. Also, the pizzeria is open for slices and walk ins from 12-5 and after 5, you must have a reservation. Back to my order, I ordered a white magic slice along with a mushroom and onion slice to try. Both were fantastic and due to the three day fermentation of the dough, the slices were light and not heavy on the stomach. This is pizza elevated to the next level. Andrew Bellucci was known for this ethic and it shows. Matthew and his crew really honor the memory and legacy of Andrew Bellucci, the original pizza nerd and a pizza maker's pizza maker. It is a shame I never got to meet Andrew when he was among us, but it's great his legacy lives on in his pizza. This is a pizzeria that is worthy of being a destination spot.

The decor is simple but cozy, it seems like a place you find yourself in, in the middle of the week. The food: Anchovy Special with Arugula and Orange Supremes- Shocking how good this was, the anchovy was cooked perfectly, they were incredibly tasty without being oily. It went nicely with the arugula and the freshness of the citrus. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=WXs8evyJarabbHv9XVj6fw Melanzane alla Parmigiana- breaded eggplant, mozzarella, tomato sauce, basil. This was basically an eggplant parm and the eggplant was cooked perfectly, the cheese was ok but the sauce made this dish really tasty with the nice homemade focaccia they give you in the beginning. Branzino Special with Cannelli Beans and Swiss Chard. This was the winner of the evening. The cripsy skin was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, the cannelli beans I thought were going to be weird but it added a nice creaminess to the fish. Lastly the swiss chard was crunchy on the ends and nice and tender on the leaf. This should be put on the regular menu. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=xNVfJCmf89OOY-1ME3FY7Q Controfiletto- grilled prime angus N.Y. strip steak served with roasted marble potatoes. I hate to say it but as good as the steak was, the roasted potatoes was the star of show. The potatoes were amazing. Pappardelle alla Bolognese- housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce. This was good but came off a bit plain. The pasta was homemade but it was almost to a fault since the pasta came out too soft. The flavors were good but I felt this would have been a better, reheated the next day kind of dish.

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

There was only one server working the floor, but with just two tables occupied, service was quick and attentive. Hard to say how it'd hold up on a busier day. The food was a mixed bag -- some hits, some middle-of-the-road. The burrata was one of the better plates. Creamy and fresh, a solid start to the meal. The truffle fries also landed well -- crisp, and the truffle came through without being overpowering. The lasagna was the weak point. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either -- nothing about it stood out enough to recommend. Dessert was the high note. The "Baby Jesus" is genuinely decadent -- rich and indulgent, the kind of thing worth saving room for. One letdown: no mocktails on the menu. The only non-alcoholic options are two non-alcoholic beers -- no fruit juices or anything else. Worth flagging if you're coming with kids, since the choices are thin.

There was no mention upon booking this place, it had a prix fixe menu ONLY otherwise we would have not went. The menu consisted of 1 appetizer, 1 main course and 1 dessert for $75 per person. The food was good and the service was good as well our server was very nice. What bothers me is no mention when making the reservation it's just the pre fixe menu and upon actually doing the math and adding all of the items we got for 2 people going off their regular menu prices we actually ended up paying about $30 more which is usually not the case in other restaurants this should have been much cheaper. Also some of the dishes on the prix fixe menu had an additional $12.50 charge because of the type of the ingredients used, if you're going to charge extra just make a smaller portion or use other type of meat. Definitely not happy how they prepared this whole menu thing and will not be coming back here most likely. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff was very nice and the food was good.
