When they brought out the rest of the order, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the buffalo wings. For some reason, so many restaurants have turned to serving miniature, anemic chicken wings thinking the customer doesn't care. Bungalow Joes is one of the rare places to serve legitimate chicken wings and legs. They were huge and delicious!!! The potato skins were smaller but full of flavor. The coleslaw was a winner- they called it Caribbean coleslaw and described it as sweeter than typical coleslaw. The coleslaw was sweeter and my son and wife loved it. The fires were good, as well. They're appealing to the casino crowd who probably can't operate their smart phones but have somehow figured out the complicated video slots and don't mind the constant noise (you can't banter with the bartender if you can't hear them). If you want food at the Center Bar, you can order from Eats. You'll have to go get it yourself and eat out of plastic to-go containers, but again, you don't have to drive somewhere in the dark or rain. And bottles of water are free. Peak's signature beers, $5 house margaritas, and $3.99 fried pickles, chipotle, queso and chips, billionaires bacon, and chips and salsa. And, they offer a 20% discount to military and first responders--EVERYDAY (on food; one entree per valid ID). As a nurse, I really appreciate that. On the way here my girlfriend joked that she was the best ever (she really is), because she was cool with us visiting Twin Peaks. I honestly didn't realize that it's basically a nicer Hooters. As a person that thinks Hooters is kinda trashy, I can vouch that my GF was right. The atmosphere is very welcoming, wooden walls, large bar with a live edge wood top, tons of TVs, lots of laughter and a really friendly welcoming from when you walk in. All the servers are young women wearing short shorts, sparkly belts, long socks with comfy boots and plaid shirts that showcase their chests.. this, "twin peaks". They live/love there basketball I believe it was Louisville and Cincinnati on the TV. We were treated well by bartenders and several locals we settled in and felt comfortable. The service was efficient considering the bartenders were also the cook and waitresses. The girl worked hard and everything went smoothly. So much so we walked over a couple of time during the week and almost became Regulars . The food. Burger GOOD! BLT GOOD! Chile Good! fries ok not bad. we had other things but stick with the burger,BLT, & chile. Look forward to coming back the next time we visit Brother !!
