Drake's located in Okolona had free parking and lots tvs for sports fans. I had seen more and more of this popping up. I had been waiting to give them a try. For a Friday night, we were able to get in with no wait. It was pretty full in the restaurant. We got a large table top for 6 in main Dining Area. Our waiter came over and quickly introduced himself. My son was ready so took his order and then came back. The food came out fairly quickly as did the drinks. Ok so the drinks, my aunt and dad liked the sweet tea. My son said The Resolution special drink was good. I had the smoked winter old fashioned. I could not tell it had been smoked. The drink was just okay. I would not order it again. I expected more in Bourbon country but alas. My son loved his bbq bacon burger and fried. My aunt said the slides and salad was good. She loved the side salad. I enjoyed my fish sliders and fries. The fries were really good. The waiter needed to be more attentive. The other staff was helpful in his absence. I am thinking he was new. They have an assorted menu with many options. First time at this particular Drake's. The sushi was very tasty. My New York strip was ok, but not a standout. The sushi is very Americanized but delicious. Our server was obviously very new and slow, but everyone is new at some point so I give grace. The casual atmosphere is great for hanging out with friends over a dunk or two. read more

4/26/26 we went to Drakes on the Outer Loop. Our server, Niki P was outstanding. She was very good about bringing us our drinks and then checking with us to see what we wanted to order. We love the brunch burrito and brunch quesadilla. Niki was an absolute gem! She would come by and check on us. It was really cold in the back room of the restaurant, the patio doors were opened. Niki just kind of kept everyone talking and was adorable. Our food was excellent, the ambiance and the volume in the restaurant was great. The servers were friendly, even to customers that weren't theirs. We don't usually come to this location, but it is close to our church and we'll be back again. Finally! A Drakes close to me! I really enjoy the burgers and the drinks. We've gone for Mother's Day and the atmosphere has been really nice and they even give you a cute mug! Service can sometimes be a little hit and miss but overall I enjoy that there's plenty of parking and you never have to wait a long time to be seated. read more

We were a party of 8, 3 adults 5 children. The menu was perfect for this group. Our waiter was average, but it was a dinner time and somewhat busy. We ordered beverages and the 3 dips and chips. Only brought 1 small bowl of chips at a time for 8 people. Had to wait every time for a refill. Ordered our meals. The sushi was excellent as well as a generous fish meal. The broccoli was mushy and when trying to order a side salad which was on the menu I was told it didn't exist. Two of the children ordered Mac and cheese they couldn't eat it was filled with pepper. Waiter didn't care. So if you like sushi it's the perfect order here. They can't make mac and cheese. The burger and steak as well as fish were good too. Also the tip was 18% added on because we were a party of 8. To me a tip is for good service and excellent hot food for your entire party. A $28 tip was not earned. read more

I love Drake's but haven't been to this location yet. I was pleased. I managed to go on an incredibly busy night, but somehow got a seat on the patio for two very quickly. The service was great and friendly, making it very easy to enjoy. I was satisfied with my large beer and delicious burger. I am always impressed by the food options and always leave satisfied. The place was bumpin', but it made for a great ambiance and energy, a fun and comfortable environment. I recommend this spot for something delicious with good service and lots of options. read more

Hate to see this place getting bad reviews! We visited for lunch on a very busy Friday and had a great experience. The service was excellent and the food was as well. Maybe these guys hit some bumps in the road if this was newly opened recently, but they've ironed out most of the kinks. The roll itself is pretty big and two adults and three kids demolished it. Our table got the tuna stack, Lucy's sliders, fried chicken sandwich, Cali roll+steak, and kids Mac n cheese. All of us really really liked our food. The steak was cooked exactly medium rare, my tuna was fantastic. Only complaint is the mango in it was rock hard but honestly, i rarely find nice ripe tender mango at any restaurant I go to. My pickiest eater loved the Mac n cheese too. My family and I went here during its grand opening week at about 6 o'clock on Thursday. The atmosphere is very welcoming and new and looks pretty. The parking lot is kind of a cluster cause you had to go through cheddars and another place to get over it but once I got in there, people were saying welcome hello all the good things. We immediately got seated, which I was very happy for there was not a wait, but there was after we got there. Anyway, waitress was really nice, I got a chicken sandwich with ranch. It was good. I'd give it a four. My wife got the fish. She gave it a three my daughter got a cheeseburger. She gave it a three my other daughter got macaroni and cheese. She gave it a four. We were there last night and the service was horrible. Our server asked us if we were ready for our check and we literally hadn't even been served food yet. We were like ‍. But the worst thing? She was left a cash tip and we wrote cash in the tip portion thank God, because the waitress also added herself another $25 on top of that to the credit card slip. So she got a $50 tip for being a thief. My daughter called up there and told them and the manager refunded it, but that's about the only nice thing I can say about that place. I'm a really patient person regarding service because I also work in customer service. It takes a lot for me to even leave a review. We were sat for over 15 mins without someone even acknowledging us. Our server finally took our drink and appetizer order. We ordered a cocktail and water but never got waters. The cocktail and app came out but our server never returned. It had been some time since we ordered the app so we informed the food runner that we were ready to order if he could let our server know. We have a baby and after 45 mins of sitting with no one coming to take our order we decided to leave. We had to check out at the bar because no one ever came back to our table. We were informed that this was our servers first night. We still left her a tip cause I could see she was overwhelmed. This is a management issue. As a manager you should be checking on your new employees on their first night alone. As a manger you should want to know if your employee is struggling or might need more training. That being said this was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. To add we have been to this location before and our server (different server) was standing at the bar in front our table talking, our drinks were obviously empty for sometime and we had to get up to ask him to refill our drinks and for everything else we needed. Would not recommend got put on a waitlist for 25 minutes. We got there at 5:30 pm and by the time we were leaving it was almost 8 pm. We didn't get our food till over an hour and by the time that we got our food, the food was not prepared. Had to remake two other dishes and within the hour of waiting at my table, we had four refills and the food that was remade was overcooked, and not to mention there was a waitress that told me to go to hell I do not recommend going here.
