I gave Sal's son a heads up about the mishap - he was working the cashier that morning - he just shrugged it off. No apology. No offer to correct the mistake. I assume he was still in shock from watching the "Red Wedding" from Game of Thrones...

Winn Street Laundry does their laundry on premise but they send their dry cleaning out. I'm not use to their prices, they have a minimum weight and Jezzzzus, their prices was astronomical! I asked how much and gasps behind me for asking and the lady at the counter "This is Boston" look and their awards let me know YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES DONE RIGHT, SCREW THE PRICES. $7 freakin dollars for a single shirt? It was either my ego that agreed, determined to look Winn Street Laundry starched down and pressed or didn't wanna look cheap and couldn't afford their services. I said out loud "Good grief, I pay $2.79 in Houston for a man buttoned down laundry, heavy starched shirt". I felt the evil eyes trying to climb my Psalm 91 hedges of protection because one of the two tunnels here was closed due to construction and the traffic put commuter's at least 30 minutes behind and in traffic. These Bostonians need to fire up a joint which is legal here and CHILL OUT:)))) Anywho, my dry cleaning was superb and the heavy starch I requested cut my neck and was ready before time. My shirt collars was white so I had not a one complaint for my HARD earned mula. I received a text when my clothes were ready along with a reminder of the price, I like that. I learned a valuable lesson from Winn; order some white polo's from Amazon, buy Spray n Wash along with spray starch and save that money for 2 16 inch bundles of human hair:))) Here today! The stain was barely noticeable, but when I tried the tide pen, it made this huge waterlike mark that was huge and bled through to the other side. Instead of 2 barely noticeable stains, I now had 4 huge watermark stains. Dropped off my dress and it was ready in time for my event this week. When I picked up the dress, it looked brand new. I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, but decided to give it a shot based on positive word-of-mouth. The staff member who assisted us was friendly and upfront about the expected delay in getting the coats back. He said latest by Friday and soonest by Wednesday since they had a backlog of coats due to the snow during the weekend. To our surprise, we were told they were ready on Tuesday and we had dropped it off on Sunday which was great to hear. They also use a text notification system to let you know when your items are ready which is very helpful. It wasn't too busy when we visited, both times we went. While the service was a bit on the pricey side, considering the cost of the jacket and the specialized care it requires, I found the price reasonable. I'm pleased with how my jacket turned out, though it's a bit less fluffy than before--hopefully that's just a normal result of the cleaning process and especially with wear will fluff out. My only suggestion would be for them to post their prices online. That said, I'll definitely be coming back for future dry cleaning needs!

Simply AWFUL experience. My wedding dress was RUINED here. I brought it in with a few small fresh…read morestains and got it back with the original stains still there, plus new large oily stains from their "cleaning attempts." On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.
