My husband and I broke down in the middle of Texas with dying cell phones - not a good situation. We initially called and told Jacob, the driver, that we were East of Beaumont, when in fact we were West. Luckily, Jacob was extremely patient, polite and professional, and came to get us as soon as we called back and realized we gave him the wrong directions. We had no where to bring our vehicle, since it was Easter weekend and there were no mechanic shops open. Jacob called around and finally found a mechanic friend of his who kindly came out to the wrecker yard and looked at our vehicle for us. Although it wasn't an easy fix, it was good to know that for sure before making a plan to get back to New Orleans. Jacob went above and beyond to help us while we were waiting for my father-in-law to rescue us from 5 hours away. The professionalism and kindness shown to us by Jacob turned a stressful situation into a funny adventure. I cannot say enough good things about this company. *I have now had two encounters with Top Gun Wrecker Service... The first was when my daughters car was towed there several months ago, there were actually concerned for her instead of having the "Just let me know when you get money attitude", unlike other services I have encountered. **The second was during Hurricane Harvey when Jacob, who works for his Father, Martinez, came to take a disable young man and his mother to "a place where he can receive the care he needs and be with family" during the worst part of the storm. He allowed me, my dog and my Son to go as well and dropped us off to assist in taking care of elderly. Jacob was not just taking vehicles off the road, he was concerned, calm and showed a genuine compassion. When the storm was over I met with Jacob and his Father again who explained the upcoming process on a level I could understand AND even called to check on our family later... unbelievable from a business this day and age! After my accident, I was taken to the hospital. My dog was in my car and the police were going to take her to the local shelter. The wrecker service driver & owner volunteered to take my dog to his residence overnight and provided my dog with food, water, and shelter. Also, once I was released from the hospital, the Top Gun Wreker owner drove me 90 miles down to interstate in his personal vehicle to be dropped off to my family. All at no additional charge. Got into a car wreck this morning. These people were nice and very resourceful even at the end when the rental car company was giving us issues the company was very good about giving us a lift to the airport free of charge.
