The food was hot and delicious but the delivery driver left it at my door for twenty minutes without updating the app.

I didn't get to have any seafood while we were in Baltimore so I said I wanted to go there before heading back home. They didn't argue. They loved the food there! Since we had to leave as soon as possible, we didn't order anything that was purely seafood. I ordered the cream of crab soup which they had raved about and the crab grilled cheese. The cream of crab was AMAZING! I could have eaten a whole pot of it! It was so good! I enjoyed the crab grilled cheese as well. There was a generous amount of crab in it so it definitely didn't feel skimpy. Although the food was great, the service was very slow. We waited quite a while just to place our order because our server was nowhere to be seen. We'd love to go back if we ever get the chance to visit Baltimore again but hopefully we'll get better service next time!

We started with the…read morecrab dip and the mussels and clams with chipotle lime sauce, and both appetizers were outstanding. The mussels were absolute perfection: tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. The chipotle lime sauce added a delicious kick that kept us coming back for more. For our entrées, we both ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty, though a touch more salt would have elevated the dish. Overall, it was still a satisfying and well-executed meal. On the cocktail side, the Amber Rush was the winner and one I would definitely recommend. I also tried the Maryland Mule, which was refreshing, but it wasn't quite for me. I tend to prefer liquor-forward cocktails, and this one leaned a little too light for my taste. Between the delicious seafood, standout appetizers, and beautiful Baltimore waterfront setting, Nick's Seafood is definitely worth a visit. I'll be thinking about those mussels for a while!

Service was perfection. The interior has a great dark wood/chandelier, old-school bar vibe and comfortable seating without it being too noisy when packed. There is some signage about the poet himself. We started of with the "cheese dip" which is an interesting way to describe a pretzel appetizer. But boy howdy, the cheese dip was enormous, which complemented the salty, buttery pretzels perfectly. The stuffed lamb was pretty reasonably priced and came with spinach and potatoes. Both that and the strip steak were a bit heavy on the sauce though, but otherwise, great dishes. Don't forget to swing by the bathroom. I just really like the posters in the hallway. The bathrooms were nice though. Overall, this is a reasonably-priced, inviting atmosphere, and tasty good. Great spot for the area.

My friends suggested that we dine here for restaurant week which was a sweet idea. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendly hostess who took us to our seats. Then our waiter explained the menu and gave us some time to decided what menu we wanted to order from (Restaurant week brunch menu or regular menu). We chose the brunch menu. For the brunch menu we were able to choose a appetizer, entree, and a dessert for $35.00. Not too bad. For drinks I ordered PIRATE PRINCESS which was Ron del Barrilito 2 Star Puerto Rican rum, passionfruit, miso honey, lime, and togarash. It was a perfect balance of sweetness and a little bitterness. For food we ordered the shrimp and corn patties, and the pan roasted salmon. The shrimp and corn patties were delicious. It was packed with multiple flavors and it was seasoned really well. The pan roasted salmon was cooked to perfection. It was flaky, and seasoned very well. It came with Ramen noodles that I thought were going to be temperature hot however, they came room temperature which was fine. They were seasoned very well. The ambiance was very nice. It gave like 1950's/ 1970's vibe. Old marble tables, antique pictures on the walls. It seemed like the building use to be a house prior to it becoming a restaurant. It was a great time. If you are in the Hampden area I recommend giving this restaurant a try. I am looking forward to visiting again for dinner. Cheers!!

But before we get to the food let me start with the customer service from the second you arrive and the young man working valet parked our car to the second he brought it back you felt like you were a VIP. The valet, the host, the servers and the managers all make you feel like you're the most important guest in the building, regardless of how many other guests and parties are there. I was impressed with the service and felt so cared for and the server answered all of our questions and explained everything in great detail so I knew exactly what I was getting. And the atmosphere is one in a million, I felt like I was at a neighborhood hangout but also eating in a royal dining room. I love the attention to detail. So now to the food + drinks. I am not a drinker so I asked for mocktail recommendations and ended up with the POG it was served in a SPAM can and was so delicious it was passion fruit, orange and guava drink and was not just delicious but also beautiful! Now to the appetizer we ordered Spam Musubi and it felt like an explosion in my mouth, it was so delicious and like nothing I've ever tasted. For dinner, I had a delicious dish Gochujang Tteokbokki again melt in my mouth deliciousness and not something I would have ever thought to order. We ended the meal with dessert we ordered one of everything and shared and there wasn't a crumb left. If I could give them 10++ stars I would and this will definitely be a return place for us! I am so glad that I was able to try foods I wouldn't normally eat, but also experience upscale service in a neighborhood vibey space! Keep up the good work, Duchess!

And I'm telling you now, it's closing by the end of July! There's another one nearby, and that one closes in August!! Maybe you don't think of fish as a fast food. But what they do here they do pretty well. The fish are great big pieces of tender, almost creamy white fish, in a pretty thick crunchy batter. The shrimp are quite large, in the same batter. The fries are generous and hot crispy waffle fries. The beverages are self serve. The flavors are good. The seafood and batter and cooking oil are all fresh. They have maybe six different sauces to choose from, they're all pretty flavorful, but with this batter, you have to go with the malt vinegar. It's a perfect match! This place is on Ritchie Highway, halfway between I-695 and I-895. I'll miss this place. If you can get here during the rest of July, you're lucky. This space is shared with a Taco Bell, which will be reopening nearby.
