NEGATIVE STARS do NOT use this company. The tech they used tried to charge us $300 for a simple lock change that took less than 5 minutes. It was not a high-tech lock, just a basic one. My roommate was home alone and he obviously took advantage of that fact. He took photos of her passport and TEXT MESSAGED her credit card numbers to some number... then LIED that it did not work, so he asked her for another card. She checked her account and it did go through. No receipt was given. She asked him questions on the price, and he just ignored her and demanded money. I called the company and somehow the company had no idea what the charges are for, claiming they had to ask the tech... it has been three days and STILL no receipt. PLEASE do not use. read more

I requested a replacement automobile key with a built-in transponder for my 2003 Ford. The website quotes a price of $120. I called the main number on the website and was given a quote of $165+. I advised the agent that their price on the website was significantly lower. In the end, the agent agreed to $120 for a replacement transponder key. The serviceman quickly arrived. He notified me that he could not guarantee that the key would work because sometimes Ford Company only allows for two keys to be programmed. I lost both over the years. He advised that he would try but if the key did not work, i would still need to pay $120. He further advised that I would be able to take the newly produced key to Ford, where they would charge me $75 to program the key or he could program it for me at the same cost of $75. I needed the car that evening and was tired of making calls. Of course, no surprise, the key needed to be programmed. I paid $195 in total. Was I scammed? You be the judge. read more

After waiting 1.5 hours they quoted more than the volkswagen dealership, and when I asked them to wait while I walked inside to get another battery for the transponder, the technician drove away. I called this company to install new coded locks for my house. They need to drill new holes and install the electronic locks to my doors. The first experience is very bad. I'm not satisfied with the work. I called to speak with the owner Mike. He is very nice & helpful & responsible for the work. He sent another locksmith right away within 2 hours after I spoke to him to fix the mistakes. I'm very impressed of the hard work that the other locksmith had done and spent 1.5 days at my house to correct the mistakes. I paid them the price I feel reasonable. And they are totally ok with it and told me that i didn't need to pay if I'm not happy. The looks of the locks are better. But from my experience, the locksmith I used in the past in the city was much more professional and perfect-look. Still lack of professional skills I would say. read more

Patrick responded to my AAA road side assistance call for a dead battery. He called when he was 10 min away to keep me updated on his arrival. I wanted battery replacement and explained why he would go through the complete testing. He showed me the results so I could understand that he did agree with battery replacement. The 1st battery had a bad cell so he had to do two times - never once rolling his eyes or complaining as it was a cold evening. Patrick from New York Locksmith Networks was dispatched as a response to my call to AAA in regards to my car not starting. The AAA dispatcher told me he would arrive in 25 minutes. Patrick arrived exactly on time, which was a first in my experiences with AAA response service crews. Patrick was polite, pleasant and quickly assessed a difficult situation; my car's hood would not pop up because of an object stuck below the hood and my battery was dead. The setting took place on snowy streets in 15F temperature. Patrick figured out a way to pop the hood even though the locking mechanism was stuck, then tested my battery. The battery could be jump started but probably would not hold charge long based on the test readings (I am an Electrical Engineer by training and I agreed with Patrick's assessment). Patrick replaced my battery in 15 minutes, tested it and gave me all of the warranty informations. I was impressed with his professional service and his positive attitude. I appreciated the fact that he genuinely wanted to solve the problem and not just tow the car to a nearby auto shop. If I need to call AAA again, I would hope Patrick gets dispatched again. read more
