It needed to be taken in at the chest, waist, and hips, hemmed to the correct length, and bustled. I came fully prepared with my shoes, shapewear, accessories, and even my veil so the alterations could be done properly. I was told my dress would be ready July 31. On July 30, I called and asked if I could pick it up August 3 and was told it was ready. I called again on August 3 before leaving home and was again told my dress was ready. When I arrived, I was handed **someone else's wedding dress**. After the confusion, I learned that my dress was actually **not ready and the alterations had not even been started**. I received a call the very next morning saying my dress was finished. Considering it had not been started the day before, I was immediately concerned that the work had been rushed. When I returned on August 6, the fit was not right. The back was extremely tight, and the fabric was bunching around my waist and hips instead of laying smoothly. When I expressed my concerns, I was told that I had somehow gained **four inches in my back in approximately six weeks**. I was also told the dress needed to be let out again and that I would have to pay an additional $125, on top of the **$625 I had already paid**. When I picked the dress up again a few days later, the bunching was still there. At that point, I was told there was nothing more that could be done. Having wedding dress alterations done is stressful enough without being repeatedly told a dress is ready when it isn't, discovering the work had not even been started, being handed another bride's dress, and ultimately leaving unhappy with the fit after paying hundreds of dollars. I took my dress elsewhere to have the alterations corrected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this seamstress for bridal alterations. My advice- STAY AWAY!!!!

I was told everything would be ready for pick-up on Saturday (as stated on the receipt) so I stopped in yesterday. The clothes are needed for work on Monday morning. When I handed the cashier my receipt, I was informed that my blouses were ready, but not my pants. I was not happy with this. The owner, Ria, approached me and said she didn't have my pants and asked when I needed them. I explained I work in Center City and wouldn't have time to come by before work on Monday. She said she could meet me at the dry cleaners today (Sunday) and provide the pants. My understanding is they don't dry clean dress slacks on premise. She took down my phone number and said she'd call me. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from Ria saying she had 4 pairs of pants ready and was willing to drop them off to me at my doorstep. I didn't know what to say. She drove from her home to get me my pants and hand them to me. The customer service blew me away. Ria said I would get a text message indicating when I could pick up the remaining pairs of pants. I'm sure you could imagine how displeased I could've been walking away from this business, but Ria was quick to turn a negative experience around and make sure I was a happy client. I can't thank Ria and Julie's enough for their dedication to their customers.

He bought a kilt in Scotland, and subsequently lost a significant amount of weight. Not wanting his kilt to got to waste, (and not knowing when we'd have a chance to get back to Scotland to get a new one), we sought out Rich at Moorestown Tailors to work his magic. I personally know nothing about sewing, tailoring, and the like, but Rich really took his time, examining the piece and seeing how it was worn before determining that yes, he could make the alterations. A week later, the kilt was ready, and fit my husband perfectly. Rich's craftsmanship was quite professional, and one would never know that an alteration was made. My husband was quite happy to be able to wear his kilt to our friends' Super Bowl party, and was quite the hit! At the same time, I had one of my favorite dresses taken in after losing a bit of weight myself. I finally just got around to wearing the dress yesterday (alterations were made back in February) and it looks great. The dress fits perfectly, and again, one would never know that it was ever altered. I don't have clothes altered too often, but when I do, I only go to Moorestown Tailors.

I gave them a wallet for reconditioning and I got it back polished. They are the drop off point for Pete's shoes in Runnemead, who I used when Pete was there. You can no longer talk with the shoe repair girl at Pete's because she got tired of dealing with customers. I dropped off a pair of Clark's shoes and was assured it can be fixed. I asked what if it isn't. The reply was "it will be". I got them back and the glue used let go in two days. I brought them Back and they said " well you know Clarks are not good shoes. They assured me of it being corrected. I got them back only to find that the shoe repair girl used a hard setting glue which started cracking during my first wear. Pete, God rest his soul, was great at the shoe craft. This 2nd generation shoe maker needs to go to a school to learn the craft. i can't stress enough: If you care about you shoes or clothing find another place Don't use this novelty shop. My $125 Clark's got ruined my these people.

She had tailored by silk white Alexandra Grecco wedding gown, and when I picked it up, she had gotten a pinprick of a bloodstain on the back of the dress. My mom saw this in the fitting, and Valentina said she would clean it right away. We picked it up that evening, and it looked fine. Flash forward to 2 weeks before my wedding, I open the dress bag and see that where she had cleaned this stained was yellowed. We called her and she said she put baking soda on it and tried to say that it might have been a bug on the dress. I had a professional cleaner work on it, and even he couldn't get it out. I am so upset and will be pursuing legal action. A few hundred dollar tailoring job ruining a few thousand dollar dress.... Do not trust her with your expensive, memorable items.

When I pointed it out, she acted as if it was supposed to be that way. I had to continue to ask her to fix it. I will not be returning.
