I stop here every time I visit Boston. They've bought the second floor levels in each of the stores beside them, leading to an "Alice in Wonderland" effect. Once you're upstairs, the shop only keeps going further back. It has plenty of Funko Pops, Books, Music, and Knick Knacks. Highly recommend if you're in the area! It's cheap and the service is great.

So many cool stuff in this store and I loved the vinyl/music section alongside the various blind boxes, some of which are rare. Its a bit pricey but not bad for Boston prices. Such a fun place

HUGE comic book shop! Registers everywhere and so much to look at. Everyone is helpful I'm showing you where things are. You can get some great deals on sale stuff but the rest of the prices are what you would expect.

This is the entire selection of comics.

WARNING: This is NOT a comic shop. If you, like me, are a collector of comics, this place is not for you. I drove 90 minutes (one way) to check this place, since it has such great reviews. After walking through their various rooms of pop culture junk, I asked a worker where their comics are, she walked me up to the rack pictured. I did end up buying a jaw harp for my daughter and a Minecraft poster for my son; their pricing was definitely fair for such a touristy location.

If you stop by Quincy Market you got to visit Newbury Comics. It looks pretty small from the iutside but It's actually a pretty huge store with 2 floors. It's such a fun store. They literally have a bit of everything: mangas, comics, books, plushies, toys, Funko pop! figures, board games, vinyl records, back pack, refrigerator magnets and many more. Everything was pretty organized. Great place to grab some last minute gifts or simply something for your liking. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

Super cool place to check out if your by Quincy Market! They've got something for every age range. Items for collectors, readers, music enthusiasts and so much more! There's multiple checkout spots and plenty to explore upstairs on the second floor too. We were asked not once but twice if we needed assistance despite it being packed on a weekend so that was super appreciated.

Hot Topic plus FYE plus a comics store. I was here when a busload of tweens were shopping so the place was crowded with them. On two floors, a large selection of gaming and movie and popular culture toys and tshirts and posters. The large display of Christmas ornaments was pretty cool and I very nearly bought a "leg lamp:" and a "Mister Hanky." Prices weren't cheap but this isn't stuff you'll find in many other places. Their new arrivals bin is by far the largest of all the record stores in a 40 mile radius. I just wish they were a bit cheaper. They're second to Cheapo in terms of prices. Big Dig, Want List, Armageddon and Stereo Jacks are all significantly cheaper in my opinion. I've seen records that go for $3 (with better sleeve conditions) at other stores sell for $12-15 at Planet. I understand the location is probably quite expensive for them. The staff is quiet, but they will help you if you ask them. Regardless, a tremendous store. If you're into records, pay them a visit!

The variety is vast, catering to different tastes and preferences. We also visited to sell some Blu-Rays. The process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the ability to schedule an appointment ahead of time. One of the staff members assisted with unloading and spent about an hour reviewing and organizing the items. While we were a bit disappointed not to sell everything, the staff was thorough in explaining their selection process and even recommended other places where we might have better luck. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely return.

Oh my goodness, cheap thrills music, where do I even begin. One day I was in this wonderful store,…read moreand I was browsing through the delightful CD selection, when my eyes locked onto a beautiful sight; Crackwhore - Somebody Loves You. This CD is truly a blessing from the heavens and delivered to us via the prophet Robert. This is both the greatest album in history, and the greatest album of today. This is what happens when you search through a vault of precious 24 karat gold, and still manage to leave with the highest quality platinum. This CD ruined all other albums for me, nothing else even holds a candle. The beautiful singing, the masterful guitar work, the majestic drumming, God I can't even accurately describe how exquisite it is. I immediately wished to purchase this masterpiece, but as this work of art was so coveted, as at the time there was zero information easily findable on the internet, the store owner and I reached an agreement. We would do research on how much the CD originally sold for and I would later return to this treasure trove to agree on a price. 1 week later I made my return, and after discovering that it originally sold for an affordable 5 U.S dollars, the prophet Robert, in all of his wondrous generosity, let me have it for 10. That is the story of how I obtained the pinnacle of human expression in music form on one, inexpensive, incredible CD. Thank you for reading this section of feedback, and please consider visiting this establishment, as I can guarantee that you will leave a happy patron with the greatest music one could ever hear, except of course, for Crackwhore, as only I am lucky enough to have a copy of humanity's magnum opus.

But she was so rocking it, I wasn't about to disturb her. It's evident, exacting Dedication to craft yields smooth delivery and seamless, effortless listening pleasure that does not fatigue in the least, 4 hours later. Yumiko invites comparison to Ben Watt from EBTG. Listening as I type. Send some compliment love to Yumiko. http://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=L59t-Q16xPO1nMBJdF10Cw It also reminds me that I spin vinyl too. But I'll never be as cool, because all my vinyl is...classical and my turntable is...wood. Orpheus is exactly the kind of store you would expect to find in Boston, a classic music destination. Small with an exclusive collection, you'll find some rare stuff. How about Paderewski playing his own stuff, whooo. Rachmaninoff playing his own stuff, ouch. Ravel playing his own stuff, pretty! I've found them here. That's a tiny odd slightly incestuous cross-section, but you get the idea. Good stuff. Is Classical better than Electronic? Not anymore. Electronic's innovation, output and breadth easily surpassed the catalog of Classical music a while ago. Still, if you haven't seriously listened, Classical music offers Rhapsodic moments that will never be lost in time. Guts? Do you want some guts to go with it? Try my this 1:14 sample of Sviatoslav Richter, playing Scubert's Wanderer Fantasy. But you have to listen to the whole thing, OK? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Richter_wanderer.ogg I'll be honest though. 80% of my collection is from Salvation Army. And it's all gold, baby.
