One of my friends had recently had a great home buying experience and referred me to his realtor Holly Scott. From the initial phone call, she put both of us at ease. She asked a lot of background questions to get a feel for what we were looking for. She then put me in contact with the mortgage lender that she works with to get preapproved and set our budget. This was a fantastic experience as well. The two of them work extremely well together and were able to get everything in order with very few hang ups. The shopping process had its challenges, but Holly was a lifesaver. She was able to use her expertise to narrow down a lot of our searches. We saw a lot of houses and she was always able to point out things (positive and negative) that my wife and I would not have thought about. We made a couple of offers that did not end up being accepted, and as frustrating as this was Holly kept us positive and we just kept searching. In the end we found the home that we loved more than any of the ones we had previously offered on. Holly helped us coordinate everything between the offer and the closing. She recommended a fantastic home inspector and did a great job helping us understand the inspection results. She helped us determine which issues we wanted to address and got quite a few great concessions from the seller including a carpet allowance and money at closing to help with minor repairs. Holly was also instrumental in coordinating with the listing agent so that we could get access to the house for a carpet estimate so that we could have the new carpet installed on closing day so we could move in immediately. STILL…read moreDENIED LEASE TERMINATION. 5 months of ant bites, itching, and scars anaphylactic reaction ER $900 bill EpiPen for life. Management's response for 30 days? Silence. Over 5 months? Incompetent and contradictory. Pest control was promised weekly, instead came every other week to divide the colonies with infective spray treatments. The moment I escalated formally -- suddenly they're "taking it seriously." Ants literally EVERYWHERE. COLONIES. Big/medium/small. Bathrooms, clothes closet, laundry room, laundry room, dead or alive. I share my home with them, they are my rent free aggressive roommates that bite and invade. Ceiling leaking. Walls saturated. Humidity 55%. Moisture reading 7.8 (normal is 5). Water near electrical outlets. Baseboards rotting. Possible mold throughout. Their response? Deflect, deny, or blame me. Cause? The house shifted. They claimed pest control couldn't enter on 4/15. I have video of him inside my unit that day. He handed me 4 ant baits for a 2-story, 3-bed, 2.5-bath home and left. Turf removal was requested in November, again in March. It is now the end of April. Still there. Backyard completely unusable. They said they couldn't enter without my permission after a pipe cracked and flooded my walls. Hours later -- same day -- claimed they never needed it. Pick one. The lies, the contradictions, the complete absence of compassion, compensation, or urgency are alarming. Crawling infant and autistic toddler in the home. I began seeing a psychiatrist and started medication after moving here. This is not luxury. Cheap paint, patched walls, dirty carpet that should have been replaced before move-in. Electricity you can't control because the account is never in your name -- no provider, no usage data, just a number added to your rent. Mine has been the highest electricity bill I've ever had. Total monthly costs exceed $3,200. The $200 "amenity fee" is a disguised HOA -- I promise you can do better with an actual onsite gym, pool, clubhouse, and internet account you own. People are leaving. Look at what I came home to (was there for days). If you have children, please be careful -- it is not safe here. Management will respond with more lies and manipulation, don't trust it. Trust the pictures not words from the people interested in taking your money. Pros: The neighborhood is quiet. Other than that, dirty, nasty, cheap a complete disgrace to the painted tree community See photos. Make your own decision.

This review is long overdue because we were busy in our new home we bought mid 2020. We came from out of state, in the start of a pandemic, and Cindy made sure we used our time efficently, we focused on what we wanted/needed and looked out for us in so many aspects. (I wrote a lot more but Yelp remided me there is a limit on how much you can write, so here's a summary): 1. Orientation/First impression Met Cindy by googleing DFW real estate (her website is www.dfwmoves.com) and I immediately liked her website. Well organized, you can search by many options, etc. Signed up Saturday evening and Sunday morning I received a call from Cindy. She is so customer oriented that I felt she was a friend from that first call. 2. House searching process While we were out of state and in the start of a pandemic, Cindy made sure she answered all our questions. She will send new homes coming in the market, will answer questions about the ones we liked on her website and she explained the diffferent neighborhoods, and provided resources to look for more info about school districts, etc. 3. House hunting We finally came to the area at the end of April on a Friday night (with covid restrictions we knew it was going to be hard but not impossible). Cindy met with us that Saturday morning and she came well prepared with the list of houses we will be looking at. She reviewed with us again what's important for us, met our kids and made them feel super engaged during the whole house hunting and showings. And off we went...she was driving her car and we drove ours... we were connected by handsfree phone call all the time driving through neighborhoods and before we went to the very first house, she drove us around through downtown, schools, neighborhoods, and in between showings we will do this again. A personalized tour! We saw about 30 houses in that weekend up to Monday morning. Every next morning she will asked what we thought, which ones were our top, etc. Wow! And no stress at all! 4. Deciding on a home Cindy makes sure that your feet are on the ground (in a good sense). She takes you to see many options but she does a "process check" with you to remind you what your priorities were and what your pricing range was (if you start asking to look at houses out your original price range...she took us anyway to the see them, but I feel she was looking out for our interests and not for a simple commission. She made sure our feet were grounded and reminded us of those things we talked about when we started searching, so we didn't let our emotions deviate us easily and we could buy a forever home with the head and heart and not just our emotions. Thank you Cindy! Keep reading to see how we found our home! 5. The home buying process (offer, closing and anything in between (a.k.a. Negotiations) Why I recommend Cindy so much? Because of all of above, and this point: she will look out for you at all times. She is not there just for a commission, she is there for you! We finally decided on a house, OMG, on our way to the airport, I looked at Zillow one more time and found out a house that had just been posted 4 minutes ago! It said "coming soon" in 3 days. And I texted Cindy and within the next 30 minutes we were seeing that house. We almost missed our flight because our flight (out of DFW) was leaving at 7pm and this was us at 4:45pm finding the house of our dreams (lake front and all!, what a luck/blessing!). Cindy is so diligent that she made that showing happened (she immediately called the seller's agent and coordinated for us to see the house at 5:15), we only had about 15 mins to see it but we've seen a similar layout in the same neighborhood and as soon as we got in the house and then saw the backyard, we fell in love and it was right on our price range. Cindy was so good that she drove to the airport with us so when we dropped off the rental car she could take us to the terminal and didn't miss our flight. FULL DIAMOND SERVICE! Yes, we stretched it a bit and those last minutes were stressful (running to TSA, to the gate, my husband missed his flight because he forgot to check in, but thanks goodness he did because the next day he was able to see the house again and meet with a contractor to start quoting on some remodel we wanted)....Anyways, you got the point: Cindy will represent you! She submitted our offer that night and the rest is history, we got the house! In between offer accepted and closing, there were many items like inspection, negotiations, etc, and Cindy was A+ all the way. She is available all the time.
