I dont eat here often. Tonight definitely changes that. I've never been disappointed in the food. Tonight I placed an online order, then called to see about adding some bread. I had to send my husband to pick it up and was trying to make it as easy on him as possible. They didn't even charge for the bread. When my husband went in he wasn't sure where to go so he waited in line. He overheard another patron ask about a to go order so he followed them. When it was found out he waited, he was given 2 slices of cake. That was so sweet. We have 4 children so when they saw dessert too they were stoked. I never visited the actual facility but we had lunch at my office today from Newk's, and the Pimento Cheese sandwich on a Croissant bun was absolutely fantastic. They also have rice crispy treats that are a delightful end to a delicious lunch or dinner. They also have pasta salad that is good. Here I am 1.5 hours away from home surveying job sites and asked my operators what they wanted for lunch. Both said Pizza. I immediately said LAME. I didn't want pizza so I chose an establishment that had more than pizza.....in walks Newk's! I ordered what they wanted after they previewed the menu and of course I was on Yelp and looked up what was recommended....low and behold pizza . Yelp has never let me down so I ordered an additional pepperoni pizza. I believe they were $8.99 each. I went and picked up; I was famished, so as soon as I got back in my car I opened my individual pizza and scarfed down a slice. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THIS PIZZA! Mind you they add basil and tomatoes to each pizza but I was ok with that. When I delivered the food, the operators were like "TOMATOES!!!" and I quickly said take them off. Out of three of us....neither of us took them off. They were an awesome addition to the meal. The service was quick. They granted every request I had which I won't go into but keep in mind ordering for 3 ppl. This place is awesome. I'm hoping the chain two exits from my home delivers the same experience. Newks is my favorite cafe to eat it in Newnan. They have the best soups, sandwiches, and salads around town. The white bean and kale soup is on point, unfortunately it is a a seasonal soup. The ahi tuna salad and sandwich are also seasonal and won't be around much longer so I recommend people pop up there and try it out. The restaraunt is always very clean and the staff is very friendly. Although it is a bit on the pricey side it is worth it. The food is fresh made and very high quality. They also have great tea. In short, we love Newk's! We've eaten here many times, and the taste and quality of the food is consistently high. I struggled with giving it 5 stars, but in all honesty, I couldn't think of a single negative about the restaurant. My personal favorites here are the spicy shrimp pizza and the red beans and rice soup (not together). However, the salads are always large and the dressings flavorful. I tried the roast beef sandwich for the first time tonight, and it was excellent. It had a nice horseradish mayonnaise that gave it that kick that all roast beef sandwiches should have. The pimento cheese is homemade and flavorful. The four-cheese mac and cheese is both bursting with flavor and has a nice variety of texture. Not to be left out is the condiment bar. They have a top shelf assortment of free extras to go along with the meal. The sweet and sour pickles are always on my menu, as are the breadsticks. Also included are olive oil for dipping your bread and roasted garlic. The one drawback to Newk's is that I have my favorites which detract me from wanting to try more of their food. I'm going to have to be adventurous and try a wider variety of their dishes...I'm sure I won't be disappointed. read more

Cool little place next to B&N. I had the half sandwich(Steak) and half salad(ceasar) lunch combo. Good price for a decent amount of food. The half salad was pretty big and really fresh. They also have a little topping bar with croutons, cheese, sauces, etc. for you to add on. The steak sandwich wasn't that great though, dry and not too much flavor, however the bread they used was awesome. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and enjoyed it, I thought it was really good as well. While driving across the country to get back to the great state of Texas (yes, I'm biased when it comes to Texas) we decided to stop in this little town of Newnan, GA. My husband decided that we would not yelp anything and just pick a place to eat, he wanted to be "adventurous". So we drove through the outdoor mall there and found this place called Newks. We decided to eat at this place because we were tired, it had "cafe" in its name and so it should have coffee. Well the ordering style is pretty typical for these "express cafe" type of places and you pick what you want to eat off of a giant menu, then place your order with the nice cashier at the front. You then get your drinks and condiments at the bar and then find you a table. Our food came fairly fast, which I was happy about because we ate lunch about 6 hours prior and I was STARVING! I got the cheese pizza and my husband got the chicken pesto sandwich. My pizza... was awesome! It had so much delicious cheese on it and had this awesome thin crust. It also had pesto and dried tomatoes on it! YUMMY! My husband's sandwich though, he didn't like. He said it just tasted off. I don't know if their chicken was just dry or something, but he barely made it halfway through his sandwich before he couldn't eat anymore. So I let him finish my pizza which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I decided to give this four stars because it should be really hard to mess up a chicken pesto sandwich but somehow they managed to. However the place was clean with clean restrooms so I was happy. That's all a girl needs while driving across the country for 20 hours. read more

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Newnan! The food is consistently great! I almost always order a half and half, half a Shrimp PoBoy and half a simlpy salad tossed with blue cheese dressing. YUM! My husband always orders a sandwich with soup. He loves their soups. They have this toppings like bar with complimentary breadsticks, peppers, olives, garlic etc. Its very nice. We always get a few packages of breadsticks. I was impressed with the selection of different types of food from Newk's. They had everything from pasta to sandwiches. Their menu is pretty huge. What won me over about this place was the giant selection of Rice Krispies treats. They had some peanut butter treats that were just like how my grandma used to make them. Pardon the distraction. I ordered the Choice Roast Beef sandwich. It was advertised on the menu as medium-rare thinly sliced roast beef topped with provolone cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato, mayo and spicy Creole mustard. It was served on Newk's famous French Parisian bread. The sandwich was delicious. The roast beef was really tender and juicy. It was piled high, too. There was no shortage of meat and toppings. The Creole mustard gave it the right amount of kick to really blend all of the flavors together. I was really impressed. NEWK'S is excellent. Portions are more than ample to fill a hungry belly. I do wish they would shuffle their soup menu a bit. They are on a daily rotational schedule that sees the "traditional" like Chili and Potato on the same day, then offers Bisque or Broccoli and Cheese the next. The Ceasar salad is filling and tasty. The Italian sandwich is extra spicy. I had a pizza (flatbread) once, and I was not too impressed, however. The food comes out quickly, even when the place is busy, and the drink cups are both large and made of a very sturdy plastic... an important fact for those of us that are not fond of crayon flavored colas, or whom have ever punched a straw through the bottom of a Styrofoam.
