Stopped in on our way home to TN. We don't have a Newk's close where we live so this was a treat. This one was quite a happening spot but the service was still quick. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and the chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious! My husband ordered the chicken tortilla soup and the chicken bacon club. He said he enjoyed it immensely and will definitely get it again! My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because all of the tea was so weak. It's like come on guys, the cheapest thing on the menu and you can't make it correctly?! If I hadn't put lemon in my cup it would have tasted like water. This is great fresh fare. It is comparable to Panera bread but slightly better. I had the greek salad with salmon and my wife got the come back shrimp salad. Unprofessional Staff & Serious Health Policy Violations Rating: 1/5 Location: Newk's Eatery (Ashley Park, Newnan, GA) Date & Time of Incident: August 3, 2026, at approximately 11:22 AM As a DoorDash driver, my role is strictly to pick up and transport sealed orders--not to prepare food or beverages. During a pickup today, staff asked me to fill a customer's drink. Preparing items violates both DoorDash policy and local health ordinances. Drivers are not certified food handlers, and expecting someone straight off the street to prepare any part of a customer's meal is a serious sanitation risk. When I politely explained this, the situation was handled with zero professionalism: - Initial Employee: Showed heavy attitude and stated she would fill the drink "just this time," claiming store policy requires drivers to handle beverages. - First Manager: Remained calm, but incorrectly insisted that forcing drivers to make drinks is company policy. - Second Staff Member/Manager: A muscular man with extensive tattoos, glasses, and a baseball cap aggressively intervened. He acted extremely rude when shown the actual policy on the app and told me, "Don't accept any more orders from here then, because we won't be making drinks." Passing off basic food prep to delivery drivers because the drink station is located away from the kitchen is pure laziness and a display of poor standards. Management urgently needs to educate this staff on food safety regulations, basic health protocols, and professional customer service. It's similar to Panera, but better (in my opinion). We were a party of 6. We came in and ordered at the kiosk. Everyone ordered a different combo, 3 of us did choose Mac n cheese as the 2nd item. Took our number and found a table. It was clean and they did keep up on clearing tables as people left. Back to the mac n cheese. It was served hot, had a nice crust on the top and was actually cheesey! 3 of us also ordered a half sandwich as the 1st item, all different. They were fresh and delicious! My husband ordered a pizza and it was definitely enough for at least 2 people! Definitely recommend trying them out! read more

We like this location in the Asbury Park shopping area. On this Sunday afternoon, my husband and I ordered the spicy chicken pizza. It's no longer on the menu but you can still order it. We prefer it over the spicy shrimp. It was delicious and had the right amount of spicy kick to it. If you're looking for a traditional pizza, this is not it. The crust is cracker thin with a good crunch and plenty flavorful. There is indoor and outdoor dining with covered umbrellas. The restrooms were and are always clean. I like that they give ample chicken and toppings so it's a pretty filling salad. Newk's is like a less fussy, more budget friendly version of Panera (don't get me wrong- I love Panera, but it's pricey). The team preps food super quickly- which is great when you have a hungry toddler. I order online while we walk around Ashley Park then go pick up our food. They keep our Newnan location clean. I know this is the slowest Newk''s in the state once waiting 40 minutes for a sandwich at lunch .There were two people ordering in front of me .
