This Panera Bread sits on Bullsboro just outside of Ashley Park and is the anchor of a small complex. Getting in and out can be a bit tricky, as the entrances are to the side/behind the building, no main entry/exit to Bullsboro. I have been to this Panera for a multitude of meals over the years, normally lunch and a treat for the nephews after a round of shopping nearby. Food is decent, seems to be a bit of "shrink-flation" going on with their sandwiches, but they are still tasty. My go-to is either the Fiesta Chicken or Frontega Chicken, always sided with tomato soup...its my favorite tomato soup out there! This location gets very busy, so service can be lacking and wait times can be a bit longer than expected for a fast casual place. Additionally, the wear and tear here is a bit more prevalent than other locations, and cleanliness is inconsistent at times. There always seems to be an overflow of plates and utensils at the return stations. Overall, this location is fairly standard from a food and experience perspective. It is convenient when already in Ashley Park, but I would not go out of my way to swing by. read more

We are sitting here at Panera's for over 30 minutes waiting for our food. Our order doesn't even show up on their screen yet because they are so backed up. They are so backed up because they are so short of help. The very least they should do is let people know how long the wait is gonna be. I don't think we'll be returning to this location again. We visited Panera Bread on New Year's Eve. We were excited to learn that they didn't close as early as some of the other places in the area. Between the 3 of us, we ordered 2 bowls of turkey chili with a side of bread, and a pick 2 with broccoli & cheese soup and Caesar salad with chicken. Everyone also got the green tea, our favorite drink at PB. The staff was awesome. We wanted to sit in the corner and one of them immediately wiped down the area for us. Our food was ready in about 5 minutes. Hot and delicious! At the end, we got two cinnamon rolls and warmed them in their microwave. It had this amazing lemon flavor that we had never experienced in their rolls. The person or team that thought of this is genius! The flow of customer traffic was steady. The ambiance is pretty laid back. PB is great for everyone, especially if you would like to read a book or work on your laptop. Enjoy! read more

This chain restaurant falls way down the chain... the young man who took our order couldn't seem To explain the "pick two" menu choices. That led me to my decision not to eat so I in fact watched my granddaughter eat all by herself. She ordered the French onion soup and Mac and cheese-"pick two." What used to be a $7.99 meal which included the two menu items that came with a drink and a choice between an Apple or a baguette turned into a $15+ charge. The drink was 8 oz. And the two menu items are 4 oz each! The soup was mostly soggy croutons and the Mac and cheese was acceptable. When we left I asked (who appeared to be in charge) why they changed the pick two and he said they did that like last year. Tells you how long it's been since I was there last. I told him that's why I didn't order anything. As it was I paid a stupid amount for a very small portion of mediocre food. How are they still in business? We came for lunch on a Saturday and ordered two whole sandwiches and two cups of soup to go. Got our order home and they had shorted us one sandwich. I called and talk to the manager and she was very apologetic and said she would replace the entire order. We went back the next day and they were so sorry and sweet in replacing the order. I have been going to the Newnan Panera for about eight months now, and I wanted to wait and see how the COVID adjustment went before leaving a review. I started by trying out their free, three month coffee subscription, and if you are located close enough to a reliable Panera, I'd say even paying the full price for the subscription is totally worth it. However, most of the time I do curbside pickup, and this Panera seems to be crazy unpredictable. I have often been brought the wrong order or end up having to go inside to try (with varying success) to retrieve my order anyways. I've been coming at this location since first opening here in Newnan. The food is always good! Once ordered, the food arrives quickly and accurately and the staff has always been accommodating and friendly! It has been recently remodeled and it has always been very clean. The restrooms are always clean and well supplied. Yes, there are too many times they seem to be short staffed and the wait at the register seems to take a bit too long! I've always been a believer that if you have an issue, don't just complain, tell the whole story. The folks here do too many things right to point out one thing wrong and not try to put this all in prospective! I hope to be served here for many years to come! I just had a very unfortunate experience at this location. I walked in and one of the girls at the front counter asked to take my order and I told her I needed to look a moment because I was overwhelmed with the choices on the menu. I haven't eaten here in about 2 to 3 years. Then they proceeded to ignore me. I waited a good 5 to 10 minutes and they didn't even look in my direction as I stood right at the front of the line. They told one person to come around me, and then after they took his order, three of them huddled up together and just talked to each other and continued to ignore me. This is not acceptable, and I can't imagine under any circumstance in which it would be. Perhaps if they thought I was taking too long to make up my mind, they could have offered some suggestions - was I looking for a salad? Was I looking for a sandwich? Was I perhaps waiting for someone to take my goddamned order? Never mind. I'm at Olive Garden now, and I've already got my soup in front of me. UPDATE - on July 15, I went back to this location. When I order, I told the cashier about what had happened. She told me that there had been a long running problem with customer service at location, and she asked that I talk to the new general manager who was in the store today. During a full day of real estate checking, we took a break after 1 p.m. for a late lunch. Having eaten the day before at a Panera Bread location, we were familiar with the menu. This location, perhaps because it is in the Ashley Park shopping area near I-85, was insanely crowded. I thought the lunch rush would be over by 1 p.m., but I was wrong. There was still a line at the counter when we left! We got one of the last empty tables when we arrived, though given the quick turnover for dining, you probably won't have to wait long for a table. My wife got her same soup/salad combo from the day before, as she liked it a lot. Mine had been good, but I tried a soup and half-panini (steak and white cheddar) instead. I love Panera as a whole, however this particular one on Bullsboro in Newnan needs a lot of help, especially the rapid pick up. Every single time I order rapid pick up it has something missing or the food is not good. Last night I ordered the 4 cheese grilled cheese and I checked to see if I had everything in the bag. We did, but then we went home and found that the grilled cheese wasn't even grilled. The bread was still soft, white, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I ate half and couldn't finish the rest. We were driving through Georgia on our road trip and we wanted some Panera. Because of the COVID19 they had an outside drive through and rapid pick up lane. We got in line to order but decided to get their app and order online. It took a while, we were there for 20 minutes at least however, the girls were very apologetic and got us our food as fast as they could. They were out of vanilla cinnamon bun so they got me a chocolate croissant and bunch of other delicious pastries instead. I also got half of the Mediterranean sandwich and my husband got Southwestern Chili Lime salad. It was DELICIOUS! We devoured the whole thing! The salad bowl was stuffed to the top, my sandwich was amazing. I wish I had gotten a whole one. Yes it took a little while, but they were busy and the workers were doing their best. Worst Panera Bread I've ever been to. Every time I go here, I say it will be the last but my kids love the mac n cheese. The bathrooms are always clogged and disgusting. I had to wait quite a while to place my order. This restaurant was filthy. My feet stuck to the floor every step I took. The booths and tables were not clean. In one booth there was a dried up pickle spear along the back. I can only assume that it had been there at least overnight since it was first thing in the morning.
