Thursday is Karaoke night. The biggest issue with the music, is its too loud. The music is so, loud you cant talk or think or order your food. The saving grace is the DJ was very good. Music was great. Food: The gator bites are not worth the order. Its mostly fried bread not meat. The raw oyster were nothing I would get again. The biggest issue is the menu. The menu we received said the Lemon Drops were $8.00. Two ppl at our table order a total of 3. When the waitress came back I confirmed the price before ordering a 2nd one. She said $10. I looked at the 2nd person at my table to confirm the $8.00 we saw on the menu. She goes to the manager. He tells her they are $10.00. They have been using a marker to balck out the price but its rubbing off. I asked to see the manager. This guy comes out to "mansplain".... the price has changed but its rubbing off the menu. That has nothing to do with the customer. This a restaurant problem which has nothing to do with us at this moment. I didnt appreciate the sarcasm as if he was doing us a favor. It was ridiculous. We did get them for $8 but any going forward was going to be $10.00. Finally decided to try this restaurant out a couple of weeks ago. Since my husband and I aren't shellfish eaters, I have never wanted to eat here. I am glad that we did!! We got there shortly after they opened and were seated very quickly. It did take a while before the waitress, Tina, came to take our order. There were only a few people there, so I don't know why it took so long. We started out with the cajun green beans, which were 10/10. Also got lemon pepper wings, which were 9/10. I had the whiting fillet basket and it was seasoned very well. I didn't care for the cajun fries, so I will rate the basket a 9/10. My husband had the flounder, which he only got 2 pieces instead of the 4 that he was supposed to get. He didn't make a big deal out of it since he was full from the appetizers. He did like the flounder and fries and rate it at 10/10. I think I would return to try the flounder next time and definitely get the cajun green beans. read more

A fun experience, good pricing, great value and a spot worth trying! The service was a little tough - even though there weren't many people there while we were, flagging down a waitress was a task each time. The portions were huge and I honestly wished they had recommended we not add fries seeing how giant the fry portions were that already came with some of our dishes. That being said, everything tasted great from the fresh stuff to the fried. It's a greasy spoon crab shack so be prepared but otherwise we had a great time. read more

Walking in we were immediately seated and the waitress was very accommodating in explaining the menu with all the options in sauce and seasonings. I ordered the crab legs, potato and corn with old bay seasoning and the crab legs were cooked to perfection, they snapped perfectly. We placed an online order, and the first thing that stands out is that their website is not user friendly at all. We also noticed that the prices differ between locations. For example, a pound of head on shrimp at the Fayetteville location is $18, but it's $24 in Newnan. That makes no sense. If it's a chain, and these locations are literally 30 minutes apart why such a big price difference? When we went to pick up our order we were asked for the confirmation number. For some reason a confirmation email wasn't sent, so we gave our name to the young lady. She turns around, looks at a bag on the counter, then walks away (never to return). A gentleman came out a while later, asks for our name and ID, looks at the SAME bag, then hands it to us. What the what??? Upon going through our bag at home, we noticed that they gave us no head shrimp instead of head on (insert eye roll here). With all of that being said, the food was actually really good. I was actually surprised at how good the food was. Portions were great and everything tasted fresh. I ordered the takeout of combo # 3: .05 lbs each of the shrimp (no head..that's what she...), sausage, and black mussels- with corn cob and a side of onion rings. I do not understand how this place does not have a better rating! We have been here many times and it has been awesome every single time. The service is always great, the manager is a great gentleman that always checks on the guests, and the food is great. They have the BEST wings around!!! Monday is their wing night and it is actually a good deal! The wings are cooked perfectly every time, and they are a great size. The juicy sauce is outrageously good! I could put it on everything. The shrimp had also been great everytime we have been. They also have awesome prices in drinks. This really is a great spot to go! My husband and I went here last night for an impromptu date night since our other location was packed. We had so much fun during the Thursday night karaoke night! The food was just okay and lacked flavor which is big for us to say since we enjoy seafood. We gave them four stars because of the DJ, Karaoke and customers and also for our waitress she was good. I love this place. Such great sea food. Staff is always nice and on point ... great service from the few times me and my family have been there. I enjoy eating my food and listening to some great music they always have playing. It is a bit pricy but what can you expect from a sea food restaurant. The was my first time at The Juicy Crab and it was a great experience. We were asked if this was our first time when we checked-in for a table. It was a welcoming gesture when the Assistant Manager came to check on our first time experience. This was a first time date for me too! My date wrote our names on the paper covering the table which was so sweet! Let's see if there will be more first dates! I had the seafood combo and he had the sausage combo. The food arrived in a clear plastic bag which marinated in sauces. I thought the food was great and we didn't have to wait long for service. Not my first time at a Juicy Crab, but the first time at this location. I was greeted and seated very quickly. My server came and took my drink order and gave me a preprepared packet containing napkins, gloves and the bib. Napkins were absent from the table due to COVID. I think the alternative arrangements are just as good as there were plenty of napkins in my packet. I started with the hush puppies, there were two reasons for my choice: #1 they are good! Mildly sweet and fried to golden perfection. #2 I needed something to sop the juice in the boil. For the main entree, I always go with the shrimp and sausage. I avoid the crab and lobster because I enjoy the flavors of those alone, not mixed in with the Juicy Special sauce. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, they were plump and juicy. There were large pieces of the sausage which had great flavor as well. I always go with the juicy special sauce, as it has all the sauces mixed. There are 4 different spice levels to suit your taste. Went in to get a meal with my sister and niece, we eat at this establishment quite often. We've been eating at juicy crab before it even made its way to Newnan. The server Amber H was the most rudest server I've ever had. My niece (13 yr old) ordered A king crab (1lb), and a 1/2 lb of shrimp (Amber goes to point out to my niece, you know that is $41 correct? As if we can't see the price on the menu ourselves) My sister ordered 1 lb of shrimp (no head), 1/2 sausage and 1 cluster of crab. When we received our food the first issue was that my sisters shrimp had head (no big deal to us, servers are human they make mistakes). So she confirmed that it was a mistake on the kitchens behalf and brought out the correct shrimp. Once we received the bill my sister had been charged twice for the 1lb of King crab. When we addressed this with the waitress she seemed to not really understand and assumed we were lying. She then goes to speak with the manager and tells my niece to remove the remaining crab legs from her bag so she can charge my sister for the 1lb. My niece had only eaten one cluster at the time and had 3 remaining. (Keep in mind 4 clusters equal 1lb which is all my niece received) The waitress then returns and removes the additional charge but says she is keeping the 3 clusters because my niece must've had eaten the other lb. Not to mention the 3 clusters in the back didn't even total to 1lb. So she insinuated there was 2lbs of king crab in the bag (around 8 clusters) and my niece must've eaten the 5 and she took 3 back. We are talking about KING crab legs. After eaten, the shell is very obvious to find so there is no way my niece could have hid 5 additional shells from the table. We told her she was more than welcome to check the table and all the bags to see there weren't any other legs left and that she was charging my sister for the lb that my niece wasn't even getting anymore. She then proceeds to cut me off from explaining the error she has made with "are you going to pay for your bill?" As if I gave her any reason that I would not. At this point i can only assume she thought we were the type of people that come into restaurants, complain, and try to get a free meal. After I tell her yes, I then continue to try to explain to her that we only received one lb of king crab and that she took majority of it to the back she then tells me "I'm not talking to you anymore" throws her hand up and walks back to the back and loudly bashes us and accuses us of lying to her co workers. Her managers (whom have been standing to the side watching the chaos this entire time) then walk over to the table, address the issue, and we explain everything all over to them again and they find where the error is. My sister is issued the refund for both lbs of crabs and offered to take home the remaining 3 legs. However we declined this offer due to the poor service and will never return to this juicy crab location EVER again. If you receive Amber H as your server please understand she is very rude and more than likely a racist that thinks black people are just looking to get free meals from restaurants. read more
