I have eaten at Newk's several times since it opened here in Newnan and been very pleased with the food and the service. I recently used Newk's to cater my realtor open house Wednesday and order was ready on time, complete with plates, forks, condiments and napkins. They even helped me carry everything to my car. Had the Caesar salad and the grilled chicken pesto sandwich which were both awesome. Kids had pizza and macaroni and cheese both of which I stole a bite of, both of which were amazing. The peach tea is delicious and my wife ordered a half bowl of broccoli cheese soup which came in a bowl with the diameter of a 5 gallon bucket. I REALLY like these guys sandwiches...every one of them looks so good that I get a different one every time! Never been disappointed by a meal at Newk's but I do recommend sandwiches over the pizzas. Friendly staff and great restaurant atmosphere; the water is in a clear jug next to the drink fountain and (I think) filled with lemons, which is always a refreshing sight for me. And you can keep the sturdy cups and reuse them! I recommend this place tenfold as a lunch spot. read more

We go here primarily for the salads at lunch and they do a great job. I can highly recommend the Black & Blue and Newk's Favorite salads. My wife likes the chicken salad sandwich (with no mustard - not sure why its there in the first place). The portions are generous, the salads are well tossed and the dressings are to die for. The condiments bar is a welcome addition. The format is quick and efficient but was a little awkward at first. I am looking forward to trying a few more of their options but the salads are so tasty that I am having problems exporing other menu items. Definitely a keeper!! read more

Newk's Express Cafe is always packed whenever I arrive. There's a diverse menu, mostly sandwiches, to choose from and you can never go wrong. After I order my meal and get my order card, I can always find somewhere to sit, and I always enjoy sitting outside. The wait for my order is neither the slowest nor the fastest; it's about what you'd expect from a sandwich restaurant. The food is average, and what you pay is average. The amount of food you receive is more then adequate, and I always end up taking half of my sandwich home to enjoy the next day. This place never gets old. There are a variety of items to choose from so I frequent Newk's often. I would especially recommend the Cesar salad with added grilled chicken. The dressing is delicious. I agree with others that the food is good and service was good. I didn't even notice the condiment bar until walking out. I felt a bit pressured to order off the board at the entrance since others were waiting around and more coming in, so I didn't notice the mention on the bottom of the board that substituting a soup for the side is an extra $2.50. That took the lunch for 2 up to $25.00. In my opinion that is too expensive for a counter ordered lunch of soup and sandwich. I would go back for a 2nd turn but be more strategic in ordering. read more

The restaurant is in a good location in Ashley Park Mall and it is well-managed with a helpful staff. The restaurant is always clean and has an outdoor seating area. The menu has good food choices for both adults and children. In addition, Newk's a frequent visitor rewards program if you eat here frequently. This is a good place for soup, salad, sandwiches, pizza, and mac 'n cheese. I am a vegetarian and enjoy the roasted vegetable sandwich on multi-grain bread, the combo with a half sandwich, a house salad (the ranch dressing is delicious ;0), one of the vegetable soup choices, or a vegetable pizza and small salad....Yummy! They give a good portion size, so I always feel satisfied when I leave there. In addition, the quality of food is consistent, which is always a plus. read more
