I've been going to Newman Dermatology for a few years now for medical care (I'm a redhead) as well as Botox and laser scar treatments. They are exceptionally kind and thoughtful, and perhaps more importantly, really great at their jobs. Nobody there ever looks overdone or like they've had too much work done, and they offer free touch ups after every Botox appointments to make sure you're perfectly happy. Over a year ago, I'd casually mentioned that a medication was making me miserably sweaty and Dr Daniela not only remembered that, but also recognized my voice at check in and came out to the lobby to tell me that there was a new anti-perspirant product that was 100% free with my insurance. That's the level of care and attention you get here. Cannot recommend them enough for both medical and cosmetic care. read more

Very impressive ! I had a pinky finger neuroma benign cyst removed two weeks ago by Dr. Gaby. She was gentle and also makes a patient feel comfortable. Natalie assisted , very nice too . The procedure was not painful due to Dr. Gaby's super knowledge and medical skill in eliminating this cyst . They are first rate top class experts -super gentle dermatology office and the doctors again are the very best ! Dr. Newman noticed my legs were swollen and I had been to numerous doctors about this and he recognized and diagnosed my swelling called lymphadema . I'm going back to get some relief for this ! If you are looking for serious dermatologist please don't go!!! I chose this place based on the reviews, but my experience was more in line with the 1-star ratings. When I arrived at the clinic, I waited for a bit before being called in. I explained that I was there to address an acne issue and even brought some test results to assist in the consultation. However, the doctor barely looked at my skin for more than three seconds and seemed more interested in knowing my budget than in providing a proper dermatological treatment. I was expecting a skincare routine recommendation to help with my skin concerns, but the doctor kept pushing aesthetic procedures instead. She refused to suggest any products, insisting that a $450 laser treatment--requiring multiple sessions--was the best option. I made it clear that I was looking for dermatological solutions, not aesthetic procedures, but my concerns were completely dismissed. Additionally, I mentioned my hair loss and low iron levels, only to receive a sarcastic remark about a $900-per-session treatment. In the end, I was prescribed three in-house brand products, which cost me $250, and I honestly don't believe they will solve my problem. I left the consultation feeling frustrated, like I had wasted my money on an unprofessional appointment. When I called last week and got Ariana, I was left on hold for 5 minutes. So, I hung up. I, too have a business to run. She never bothered to call back. Unfortunately, extremely disappointing experience. Returning to the office after 6 months of treatment: I waited an hour and a half to see the doctor, and our conversation lasted barely 2 minutes. The doctor failed to clarify my situation, outline a clear treatment plan, or discuss the prognosis of my problem. When I asked about the prognosis, he looked at me puzzled for several second, didn't answer, and headed to the exit to announce the visit was over. I have been coming to Newman Dermatology for the last 5 years for acne treatments and I couldn't recommend them more - specifically nurse Danielle! They are so kind and helpful here, it's the best environment I've had at any dermatology office. I live pretty far away in Redondo Beach, but it's always been worth the drive every couple weeks. I don't understand why people are posting bad reviews about Dr.Newman Doctor has been around for years and he's good at what he does. I use to be a patient at his location on Olympic Blvd and I had bad acne and moles. Dr Newman is a miracle doctor because to this day I have not broken out with a signal acne. I still refer lots of patients to him because he is such a caring doctor and he knows how to treat patients. I sent my nurse Cassandra and her co workers and they were very satisfied. My friend Pauline is satisfied, Dennis .N. Is very happy because he had big moles removed and now he takes his daughter there, my Neice been going there for years and when I hear people complaining about their problems I tell them "go see Dr Newman". Only thing that cost is his cream but I can tell you it works. That cream for dark spots, just avoid the sun or buy some of the sunscreen or use the spot cream at night. If he is taking too long with a patient needs, you should respect that because you would want the same for you because if he's in surgery I hope you don't expect him to stop in the middle of the surgery because you arrived at your appointment If you can't afford his products you differently don't care about your looks. Nothing is handed for free. Stop being so vindictive. read more
