She replied: "let's keep the 10:45." I managed to move things around (because if she was asking, I figured she was in need, and I wanted to help) and arrived at 10:57 -- 7 minutes late by the original booking, not 15. When I walked in, Felicia told me I was 15 minutes late. I explained I'd rearranged my schedule to accommodate her request. She shrugged and said "too bad, I already booked someone afterwards.". It wasn't until I was in the room that I checked the reminder email -- original appointment: 10:50. So by her own scheduler, I was 7 minutes late, not 15. Felicia eventually gave me an extra 5 minutes to make up for the mix-up, and I appreciated that. But the cold, dismissive way she started the appointment stayed with me. That's not how you treat someone who's followed you for 15 years. Part of why I see Felicia specifically -- and not one of those high-volume places with curtain walls and hospital beds for tables (you know the ones) -- is the whole experience. A facial should be calming and restorative, and Felicia's warmth has always been as much a part of that as her technique. When that warmth disappeared at the door, it colored everything that followed. The facial itself was top notch. Felicia is genuinely skilled, stays current on products and techniques, and can deliver a top-notch treatment in her sleep. I hope this was an off day, because the person that greeted me at the door was not the warm person that I've been loyal to for a decade and a half.

But then when I got into the actual facial procedure, it didn't go so well. I was assigned someone named Kyung. She used the needle/lancet A LOT. I had maybe one stubborn, deeper pimple, but the fact that she used a needle to puncture and squeeze a bunch of spots caused a lot of scarring/hyperpigmentation that's taken me over two weeks now to exfoliate and get rid of, and its not yet near to being clear. If their smaller ones that can be squeezed then a lot is normal- but the needle was used probably over 20 times. Not only that, but every time she spoke, it was always an attempt to get more money. First, it was asking if I wanted to buy a package or some sort of membership. She asked twice and kept on being pushy as she was doing the procedure. Next, she asked me to tip at least twice as well, and reminded me several times, even got the physical sign with her venmo/PayPal and showed it to me, to make sure I understood. Note that maybe had we made other small talk, then maybe, just maybe the way she was so pushy and trying to get more money out of me would be fine, but it was really every moment she spoke was an opportunity to get more money. It's a horrible feeling. That said, I wouldn't recommend trying, unless perhaps you're fluent in Korean and could veer the conversation to other things or speak more firmly when sold to.

What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. Overall, the entire experience felt very professional, careful, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a place that takes the time to understand your face and aims for natural-looking results, I would absolutely recommend them.

I seem bias because I'm related to Dr. Sarshad, but that's actually the reason I was so hesitant. I was so used to the person I was going to, and not sure if she would give me the same treatment a stranger would. I'm not disappointed one bit. What appreciate the most about Charlotte, is that she will say NO to me when I ask for something that's not in my best interest and say yes in moderation with my best interest in mind as well. I had one issue, stubborn spot and pigmentation treatment. Mentioned it about 50 times in the waiting room. Gave me CO2 instead all over my face-- wrong treatment, no consent, for supposed "texture" that I don't have, with zero wrinkles and acne scars, leaving damage on my skin soon before an important event. I only asked for light CO2 for dark spots - that was it. Seems like the provider doesn't have working ears? During the appointment: comments about my lashes, weird comments about my age (I'm on the younger side), blamed my spots on hormones (never had issues with hormones before), couldn't answer what percentage of dark spots would improve. They waived the fee and gave me free products only after I escalated. Too little, too late. Threw a whole wrench into my schedule - awful results. Blamed it on "misunderstanding". If I ask for something 50 times, how is it a misunderstanding? Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I emphasized how busy I was and how little time I had. Zero competence and zero intelligence. Probably one of the dumbest clinics that I've ever gone to. It takes a lot to get strong of language out of me, so you can imagine how awful their treatment was. Everything that they handled from the beginning to the end, whether it was the consultation, whether it was the actual treatment, whether it was the incompetent awful provider or whether it was even the management that was incredibly condescending. Just horrible. Final text message asking me if I had "calmed down". You gave me a treatment I didn't need, on a setting I didn't ask for, ignored me in the room multiple times when I mentioned what I came in here for, then tried to deflect the blame on me -- marked with definite jealousy, condescension, and arrogance. Save your money and go somewhere else as there are so many better spots available in the area. One star. Factual. Done.

Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. Dr. Kiripolsky was friendly and confident in the treatment plan, which included CO2 laser for enlarged pores and a small scar. However, before starting, I was required to purchase prep products from her office without being given an itemized receipt. I had to request one by email, and when I received it, I was shocked to find the consultation fee listed as a "new patient remaining balance" instead of being credited toward treatment as promised. Even more concerning was a $200 charge for Tretinoin 0.1%--a medication that usually costs about $6 with insurance. Most doctors would encourage patients to get it covered by insurance. When I raised these issues, Dr. Kiripolsky offered no meaningful explanation or resolution. Nonetheless, with limited vacation days and time being valuable, I moved forward. At her suggestion, I added CO2 laser around the eyes and completed two rounds of treatment over 10 months. The first session was so painful I teared up during the procedure. Strangely, the second was almost painless, which left me questioning the consistency and quality of care. In total, I spent nearly $7,000 on treatments and products with below-average results. Just to warn you, Dr. Kiripolsky's procedures are quite expensive. For the CO2 treatment, Dr. Kiripolsky charges $1,800 for the nose and $3,500 for the eyes. She personally called me from her home (I could hear her baby crying) to persuade me to add the eye treatment, which I hadn't initially planned to do. When I told her I wasn't willing to pay $3,500, she reduced the price to $2,500, and I agreed. However, on the day of the procedure, she made a snide comment about giving me a discount, which felt unprofessional. This experience left me feeling misled, overcharged, and extremely disappointed. I would strongly caution others before committing to care here. MY RESPONSE TO DR. KIRIPOLSKY'S REPLY: I want to clarify a few points from my experience, as your reply unfortunately reinforces why I felt compelled to leave a review in the first place. First, regarding the $150 payment, the confusion stems from a lack of clear and proactive communication from your office. How do you explain the $150 listed as a "new patient remaining balance" if that's not a consultation fee? And how do you justify charging patients $200 for tretinoin? During my initial consultation, you clearly said my nose would only require 1 to 2 treatments. The narrative that multiple treatments would be necessary only came after you saw minimal results--10 months after the first procedure. What was initially discussed as a significant improvement from one treatment was later reframed as a "most likely" need for more, once results didn't meet expectations. Expectations were not clearly or consistently managed, and I relied on your guidance to make an informed decision. Regarding your comments on my scars, I respectfully find the phrasing inappropriate. Referring to them as "deep, self-inflicted wounds" in a public forum feels both unnecessary and unprofessional. It comes off as judgmental rather than supportive, especially for someone seeking help and healing. As for missed follow-ups, I have NEVER missed any so please be honest. In fact, your office often confused the schedule, and I had to rearrange mine just to come in. Regarding the skincare routine, I told you clearly that I followed the instructions to the tee. So please stop being dishonest. She is an absolute genius at what she does, but what makes her so exceptional is that she actually studies your face and your skin before doing anything. There is no formula, no "this is what everyone is getting right now," and definitely no pop in, inject a needle, goodbye. Everything is specific to you and she takes as much time as needed. I've never once felt that she was rushing and that's so important. She has defined my jawline using just Dysport, and she is incredible with filler because she understands exactly where it should go and, just as importantly, where it shouldn't. Her placement is so precise and natural. I also have very thin facial skin and somehow she has never bruised me. Not once. I genuinely don't know how she does it because I bruise when the wind blows. What I trust most about Jo is her restraint. She would never do something just because a patient asked for it if she knew it wasn't going to make them look better. She cares about the end result, not selling another syringe. She's a true artist and she takes her work seriously. She's also helped me with recommendations for my very dry skin, but has never once made me feel like she was trying to sell me something. That matters to me. Everything she recommends feels thoughtful and honest. Jo is incredibly talented, but she also genuinely cares about her patients and how they feel when they leave her chair. That combination is rare. I trust her completely, and nobody else is touching my face. Literally, ever! Blush is also such a great place. It's calming and beautiful and never crowded or uncomfortable. The treatment rooms are inviting with windows and natural light. The women at the front desk all welcome me by name and are so kind every time I see them. They deserve massive recognition as well for being thoughtful and taking care of the me and other clients.
