I'm in month 11 of working out at Newport Peach. That's a first in terms of longevity for me, so I can confidently say this place is Best in Class ... and sass! The very first time I went, I limped out and could barely move for 2 days (I was really out of shape). But I couldn't wait to go back. You can see the thought that has gone into creating this studio - from disco balls to live plants to lighting that is adjusted throughout class to create the right moods. The mural wall is the latest addition and it brought the fun factor from a 9 to a 10. The space accommodates 12-15 per class - most of the morning Peach Step classes I've taken range from 6-12, which feels just right for energy without being overwhelming. The awesome-factor continues with the instructors. They all care, they're well-trained, and they deliver sessions focused on strengthening and toning the female body. They're also queens of playlists that keep us moving and having fun! I trust them and I'm thankful for how hard they get me to work. I'd highly recommend Brittney or Reme, especially if you're checking it out for the first time. Newport Peaches come in all shapes and ages - ranging from 20s through 60s, it's a space for everyone. I stumbled here reluctantly a little over a year ago. I lacked confidence in my body and was afraid I'd be judged and excluded from the workout community. I walk into Newport Peach and get greeted with the biggest smile! My first class was Peach Step. I'd never stepped before but I was given a quick how to. I finished the first class feeling empowered. I even remember walking out with a current member and chatting the whole way to the car. Since this class I've taken dozens more. The instructors are amazing and kind. I am so happy I found this community. Everyone is accepting. You find women of all different ages and fitness levels. I even continued classes into my third trimester of pregnancy! Best studio. I just started coming here a couple months ago, I was looking for a way to exercise with my baby since I don't have childcare and just couldn't motivate myself enough alone - there's not many places like this, I'm so thankful I found it! The teachers are super friendly and accommodating, they want you to work your booty but also keep in mind where you are in your postpartum body. It's been such a great place to ease back into working out and the workout grows as your little one does too (much easier to squat with a 10lb baby than 20lb strapped on you) and it's a fun place to bond and make mom friends and watch all the kiddos grow! read more

Don't let the pink branding fool you, Newport Peach will kick your ass. This workout consists of a killer playlists, lots of cardio, and mat pilates. It's a modern take on step aerobics, without the neon outfits. Their schedule includes a range of aerobics, barre, BUTI Yoga, and they even host mommy+baby classes. The instructors are inclusive of all levels of fitness and you're able to choose your intensity based on the number of risers used. Peach step is one of my favorite classes. I have ClassPass and always try to rotate this in to get some low impact cardio in. I really like the upbeat attitude and fun music. You get a great workout with peach step you do some cardio and arms, and then move usually to butt and abs. I have also taken the peach and abs class, which is also a great workout. Very clean studio and wonderful instructors. Plenty of parking whenever I've gone never had an issue finding parking. read more

Took Jodi's Peach n Abs class and really liked it! The location is easy to find and there's some street parking available out front. I went during a time where it wasn't too busy so it wasn't hard to find parking. The class was fun and upbeat and a good amount of challenging. Ladies- this is THE workout studio!! The vibes, the teachers, the ambiance, the energy, it is truly an A+ workout! When you arrive there is plenty of free parking around back of the building. It is located above a restaurant, but there is plenty of signage so you can find it. Look for the "Becky, look at her butt" decal on the window! When you walk inside it reminds me of a girly girl paradise! The walls are pink with adorable posters, neon signs, and even a pink disco ball. It makes me feel like I walked into Barbie's workout studio! The instructors almost always greet you immediately. If you are a newbie, they will introduce themselves or if you have been before they always remember your name. They will even take it upon themselves to introduce you to the regulars so you feel a sense of kinship. I really love that! The workout class itself is nothing like I've done before. I would best describe it as Y2K meets 80s aerobics class. The energy that the teacher brings is electric! It gets the entire class pumped up! I was skeptical if this was truly a full body workout at first, but after attending a few times, I can confidently say that your entire body will feel the burn. You are constantly going up and down steps while lifting weights over your head and clenching your core. It is HARD! The energy from the teacher really keeps you going. At the end of class the teacher sometimes walks around and sages the space which I personally LOVE! Cleansing the energy from you is the perfect end of a workout. My favorite classes to attend are Jodi and Nicole's. If you're extra lucky, little baby Duke will also attend Nicole's class and help co-teach. You can tell the teachers are super passionate about the studio and pour their heart into each session. I would highly recommend a visit! read more

Buti yoga is a must try! It's a little studio with no bathrooms or toilets but a lot of character. The owner instructs Buti yoga and has an amazing energy. I LOVE Newport Peach. I never thought I could get excited about working out. Nicole, the owner, is amazing. She kicks my ass while encouraging me to leave it all on the step. The cardio is the hardest part (Peachstep), but the music helps pass the time. I often catch myself singing along while holding a squat. I like when she brings Baby Duke and works out with him strapped onto her chest. She's created an incredible vibe with her studio. I would describe it as authentic and non-judgemental. Pilates/bar/cycle classes can get kind of cliquey and competitive. That's not a thing at Peach Step. I like how she ends by telling you to love your body. Nicole's vision of connecting women and building a strong community is achieved through this boutique fitness studio that focuses on barre, step aerobics, pilates, yoga, and buti-yoga moves. What separates this studio from others is that there aren't many aerobic/step classes or BUTI classes in Orange County or California at all. It's a unique take on fitness. More importantly, there are some meaningful relationships you'll form when you meet others in these classes. If you're fitness and around Newport, you'll see and know these instructors and classmates. Yes, these workouts are typically and culturally for women but make no mistake that it's not a walk in the park exercise, it's a sweaty, drenching, heart palpating, sore climb over a mountain. Instructors are talented and knowledgeable about getting your heart pumping, targeting core, mobility, and strength. Nostalgic 80s music and neon lights creates a fun vibe. Be ready to sweat as the room gets heated easily. I appreciate that it's in a cute small business plaza location on PCH and off from the busy Newport areas. The only critique I have of the class was that I wish I was told what muscle I was supposed to be feeling during certain workouts or more instruction on how to hold the weights - ie - facing up or forward or down or front. I was in NB for a week staying on the Penninsula. I grew up around here but live in LA now. Totally wish we had this studio and Nicole in LA! I did two peach step classes at the Studio and the BUTI beach class on Saturday. The step classes were fun and I loved the variety with step, barre and floor work. The 80s music played during the Tuesday class was awesome and the instructor was very welcoming. The beach class was so different and uplifting- such amazing female energy! The dolphins even came out of the water to check it all out. :) Nicole is sweet, funny and inspiring.
