I needed a second opinion on a condition my pup had because my previous vet kept insisting nothing was wrong. However, Dr. Beaudex was instantly able to point out the issue. I thought I was crazy and worrying too much. I'm glad I was persistent. She even noticed that something might be going on with my pup's eyes. I appreciated Dr.Beaudex's honestly. If she wasn't sure, she would recommend a few options to try to figure out the exact problem. She also understood the limitations of having my pup's eye procedure at Newport, so she recommended a specialist. The veterinarians I've had in the past would only treat my pups for what I brought them in for. But Dr. Beaudex went above and beyond to point out health concerns that I forgot to mention and treated them too. All the staff at this clinic just genuinely love animals and enjoy what they do. They play and spoil all the fur babies that enter the clinic. They even have in house teeth cleaning! I got multiple check in calls regarding my pup the week after, which I really appreciated. I'm so happy I found this vet. It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it. I feel like I can trust my family with them!

Brought my girl here for a vaccination and had an overall great experience. Parking was very easy and upon walking in, the reception was warm and welcoming. We were helped right away and then ushered to the exam room fast. Not much waiting around which was great especially for our angsty dog. Exam was thorough and helpful. Techs and vet were all nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Place was very clean and they gave our Luna girl a gift bag afterwards with all kinds of goodies! Will be coming back and I trust this clinic with my fur baby!

took my puppy here for the first time the other day and everything went so well!! i immediately had a good feeling when i got on the phone to make an appointment! compared to other vets that i had called prior, newport pet clinic stood out because they sounded friendly and like they wanted to help/were eager to do so. Then the appointment came and from the moment we stepped foot they made my puppy,Bon Bon, feel calm and reassured! as well as my self. The Vet who came in to help was so kind, helpful, and informative!! the whole staff was truly awesome ! we even left with a little goodie bag! i loved Newport Pet Clinic for my fur baby and will continue to bring him in :) !

The staff here is the best!!! I was pretty nervous about taking my cat because she's really shy. The vet made her feel at home:) receptionists were so helpful and made her a goodie bag to take home. Super accommodating and understanding through the whole process, definitely recommend I will be back!

For the first 5 years I had my dog Haven, we bounced between 3 different vets. She had health issues as a puppy that led to being poked and prodded often, which left her with major white coat syndrome. Previous vets would meet this nervousness by compounding it with their own, muzzling her for basic exams and not allowing me to be present for any procedures. While I always stayed confident for my dogs sake, it made me so sad to take her in for even a routine visit. When I got Hopper 2 years ago I was on the hunt for a super competent vet that would give them both a better experience-- While being conservative with unnecessary intervention, because that's important to me. I definitely found everything I was looking for and more here. I am a dog trainer, so listening to dogs body language and cues is second nature to me-- but a LOT of vets and vet techs aren't trained to do this. The team at NPC definitely knows their stuff. They truly adore and understand animals, and go above and beyond to give them an amazing experience. Instead of being nervous that Haven is nervous, Dr. Burhum sat on the floor with her on her first visit, forgoing a temperature check that could wait until another appointment and giving her treats to create a bond. To this day, she calls me after their appointments to excitedly report that she's getting wags from Haven and to tell me how great they did. She saw through that anxious exterior and found the lovable, extremely trustworthy dog on the other side. As you can see in the photo, Haven has never been happier to be at the vet. Hopper loves everyone, but the team has also noticed that he doesn't like to be separated from his sister, and has allowed these two to stay together for their check ups and teeth cleaning, without me ever telling them about his codependency lol. They knew right away because they know him. They've helped me find the best ways to create robust heath for my dogs, utilizing preventative supplements and diet. When a health concern does arise-- They are thorough in finding an answer and crystal clear in their client communication. I have been sending clients here for the past 2 years and they always report back about what a fantastic experience they had. All of this to say, just know you and your fur children are in the best of the best hands when you come here. Thank you NPC staff for making going to the vet something we all finally look forward to we love you guys so much!

My boy has had some scary vet experiences in the past, which made him all that much more scared to go to the vet. Newport Pet Clinic and all of its lovely staff made us feel so welcomed and helped my dog feel safe and loved. They put so much thought into every detail of the whole experience from checking in, to the exams, to checking out and it felt like a v.i.p. experience! This place and these kind people are a true gem and I'd recommend using this clinic for all of your pet needs. Can't wait until next time!

We recently starting bringing our new puppy to Newport Pet Clinic. The vibe in this office is so wonderful. Not only are they nice, but they are extremely appreciative. Let me explain. We brought donuts for them the first time we visited them. As one would expect, they thanked us profusely. They don't need to know that it was really an excuse for my kid and I to get donuts for ourselves, so please don't mention that to them. We got a courtesy follow up call from them asking if our puppy was doing OK after his first visit. By the way, we didn't know our puppy had lungs the size watermelons until they attempted to take his temperature by poking that neck of the woods on his little anatomy; but I digress. In the call they again thanked us for the donuts. That just made us so happy. THEN, we got a card thanking us for visiting and AGAIN they thanked us for the donuts. So that is why I specifically noted that they genuinely show appreciation. What individual or business will thank you 3 distinct times for a random act of donuts? I know it may seem like a small deal, but it's not to us. It just reinforces the fact that their culture is bussin'.....that's Gen Z lingo for "pretty dang good" I believe. I have to confirm with my kids if I used that term correctly, or if I just exhibited some "sped" behavior.

Thanks for goodies!! But do I REALLY need to share these with my big bro Izzy??

Today was a great day! We visited Newport Pet Clinic for the first time. I have been in search of an honest vet where I didn't feel like I needed to take out a 2nd loan on our house. It seems like the last vet we had been going to took advantage of situations, and charged exorbitant amounts during times that there really wasn't an opportunity to wait on the service to go get a second opinion. I love my pups and want to have the best care for them - but at the same time, we don't have endless amounts of money that we can just pour into medical costs for our pup pups. I decided it was time to give another vet a try. I found Newport Pet Clinic on Yelp, and they had a lot of happy clients reporting out on their experiences - fortunately, they were close for us, so I made an appointment for my Harley to have his paw looked at, which he was practically licking it raw due to allergies. Due to Covid, I was not able to go into the office with Harley, but I was greeted by Emily, who was just so sweet! She took my pup in for his exam while I waited in the car. The doctor then called me to report on her findings and suggestions on treatment, which sounded very reasonable, so I agreed to her suggestions. Emily brought Harley back out, along with a very generous new client goodie bag! What a very thoughtful gesture! And they also included goodies for my other pup Izzy - very sweet! To my surprise, the cost for service was very reasonable! I had almost felt like I held my breath when she handed me the bill - since we hadn't really talked prices - but fortunately, everything we had done, including an allergy shot, some medication and the office visit we're very affordable! I was also happy to see that they offered non- anesthetic teeth cleaning, so I made sure to make an appointment. We hadn't been able to get a follow-up cleaning since our vet had put that service on hold - again, thanks to Covid! Since our appointment last Thursday, Emily has called us twice to check up on Harley to make sure he's doing ok. So very thoughtful! I feel like this vet's office has a true concern for my pups and I really appreciate that! Looks like we've finally found our 'fur'ever vet!

The veterinary staff at Newport Pet Clinic sets the gold standard for animal care. I watched the best of humanity with the care this staff gave to my beloved shiba, Ayoko. Dr. Beaudet and her staff are nothing short of amazing. If ever you have veterinary needs anywhere in the Orange County, I highly recommend taking your pets to them. The care and thecompassion they provide is like NOTHING I have ever seen.

Absolutely stellar customer service! I made an appointment for my little pug Macho to get his first wellness exam done, get his shots all in order, and everything went great! They even called to follow up and ask how Macho is doing a few days after his visit. You definitely feel like they love your fur baby as much as you do. I will always be bringing my little man back to Newport Pet Clinic. :) They also give you a cute little bag of goodies for your pup to take home and enjoy! Highly recommend them and would give them infinite stars if I could.

Dr. Burhum and her staff were amazing! I took my dog here for his year-3 vaccinations. The cost was fair and the staff was friendly and professional. I loved that we were greeted with treats and the welcome sign was a nice touch! You could tell that the people here love animals. After the visit, I received a welcome pack of pet supplies and goodies. Will definitely come back for future vet visits!

So happy I finally switched my dogs vet to Newport Pet Clinic in Tustin! I had taken all my dogs for over a decade to a low cost clinic in Fountain Valley. My dog has severe skin allergies and his prescribed medication Apoquel just hasn't been working the past 6 months. I needed to get him seen by the Dr on a rush basis because he was scratching and biting himself raw:( I decided to call NPC because it's literally a mile from my house and they were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They scheduled me for the very next day! The vet examined my dog gave him a new allergy treatment plan and we couldn't be happier. My dog is no longer itching like crazy. The clinic is small but cozy and the first thing I noticed walking in, was how clean it is. If you are looking for a new veterinarian, I highly recommend NPC.

They ask for vaccinations records and need the 6month shots before they take your dog in. The reception area looks like a spa. It's clean and pleasant. There is a gate by the front door so dogs can't run out onto the street if the door opens. Unfortunately you cannot see into the grooming area. They keep the door shut at all times and there is no viewing window which is different to what I've seen at other places. To me this was a red flag. I told the lady at reception what i wanted and she translated in to the groomer. The entire grooming experience was done very quick, they took an hour and a half. Is this a good thing? I thought so. Until I saw my dog. The cut was uneven and choppy. His face didn't have a good finish. He had been nicked with the shaver in a few spots and had blood. His nails had not been cut. And he was dirty!! I actually called back to ask them because I genuinely thought they forgot to wash him! She didn't acknowledge anything I had to say or check with the groomer. She claimed everything was done and he's clean. She wouldn't listen to the fact that when I rubbed a wipe over him the white wipe was brown! I could see bits of white fur all over his black coat. It was gross. She said you can wash him again if you like! We had to wash him again at home and I re-cut his mouth area myself. Disappointed with their reaction to my feedback when i called so unfortunately here it goes publicly for everyone to see.

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.
