But the staff here were incredibly patient and gentle, constantly comforting her and helping her relax throughout the process. That really meant a lot to me. What impressed me even more was their coat care. They provide customized treatments based on the dog's skin condition, which is very different from regular grooming places. After the bath, my dog's coat felt incredibly soft, smooth, and healthy -- you can really feel the difference. You can tell they truly care about dogs and understand them. Needed a new groomer and after doing some research...we decided to come here. They were super fast. Didn't take long at all maybe a bit over an hour. They did the whole process from cutting, trim, anal glands, and etc. My baby is a bichon and all the groomers in the area seem to charge extra if they are a specific breed and she is one of them. We brought our Maltipoo puppy Luna to Moco Dog Grooming in Tustin after a not-so-great experience at our vet's groomer, where the grooming took nearly 3.5 hours and the results were just okay. Came here several times, the owner of this place is always so nice and friendly. The first time I took Disney to this place, was a puppy never had grooming before, the groomer handle him well. The second time I took my dog (Disney) here, he was not afraid at all, but wagging his tail and seems extremely happy! Dogs don't lie, it is obvious that they treat him very well when I'm not here. First of all, I am a resident of Orange County who wholeheartedly supports small local businesses, and I believe that these small businesses are crucial as the backbone of our economy. That's why I didn't want my first Yelp review to look like this, but the entire situation has led me to this point. It is unfortunate that due to your double/tripple booking, you had to accommodate us between the appointments of two other customers that day, but this was in no way my fault. And as you know, this is not the first time there has been a mix-up with reservation times, right? Nonetheless, we continued with you consistently for the past two years. Not canceling the reservation without notifying me is quite... thank you. I guess I should be thankful that you didn't cancel the appointment that day, but isn't that the least a service provider can do? Despite the confusion caused by your double booking, I was still relieved that at least the grooming was finished. However, the relief quickly vanished when you sent us a series of voice messages at 4 a.m., as if you had done me a favor. When you gave my belongings to another customer by your mistake, if you had said, "I sincerely apologize for the confusion with the reservation and everything that happened. I assure you this won't happen again on your next visit," I would not have written this review, and I would have returned to your store like I used to. If you hated getting a review like this so much that you sent voice messages at 4 AM, you would have apologized to me on the day it happened, wouldn't you? Oh, and I almost forgot to mention this. I have confirmed that due to a communication issue between UPS Driver and the receiving clerk, the bill was not charged to me. Therefore, please disregard the third point I made in my original review. And I will apologize here. Instead of saying something like "I'll leave a positive review next time," I believe in owning up to my mistakes and offering a proper apology when necessary. I'm writing this again to update my review below with these corrections. ---------------------------- I called three times but received no answer, so I am leaving this 1-star review. The appointment was at 3 PM on 8/31, so you should know who. I've been going this place for two years to groom my dog. My wife usually visits, but due to circumstances, I went this time. Now, I have reasons why I will never come here again: 1) Whether it was due to a language barrier or not, the experience was truly horrible. I arrived on time for my appointment, but the staff didn't even seem to know I had one. Even though it was their mistake, they didn't apologize and instead looked visibly annoyed. I didn't express my frustration at the time because I was worried about how they might treat my dog. (And just as I feared, when I picked up my dog, they hadn't even properly brushed out his fur. Plus, they failed to groom my dog the way I wanted) 2) I returned to pick up my dog after 2 hours and 30 minutes, only to be told they had given my dog's vest to another customer. Not only did they fail to apologize, but they also told me, "Don't worry, you can pick it up next time." I was completely dumbfounded. I waited, hoping for an apology, but all they said was that I needed to pay. As soon as different customer walked in, she completely ignored me. I don't understand why I have to pick up the vest that they gave to someone else, and their dismissive attitude--saying, "Pick it up next time"--is just beyond comprehension. No matter how much I try, I can't wrap my head around their thought process. 3) Since I was so frustrated and never wanted to come back, I asked them to send it through UPS. I thought this was a fair request. When I received the package, I was shocked to find that they had marked the freight as 3rd party receiver, meaning I had to pay for the shipping. Why am I paying for freight when this entire situation was caused by their mistake? This is not about the money, it is about your attitude/ customer service. Next time, if you make a mistake, learn to apologize first. Most people are willing to be understanding when you do. And when a problem arises from your error, take responsibility and make things right. This might not be written in any law, but it's basic common sense. read more

Mario did a wonderful job with my Maltese. I wanted her to have a "Korean Maltese haircut" and she turned out so cute!! I selected the full package- bath, spa, and haircut. Mario also took time to speak with me with my dog's overall condition which was great and mentioned a few things I wasn't aware of: Violet's hair inside her ear was so long and it's prone to get infected and so it was trimmed. Mario also mentioned Violet still has some baby teeth with her adult teeth so advised that I can take her to the dog dentist to have them pulled out. Mario is an extremely skilled and friendly groomer. I've taken my dog, Simba, to many groomers and feel that Mario is the most thorough groomer I've been to. Simba always smells so good and looks great after every session! Another thing I appreciate is that I only have to leave Simba there for an hour usually. Mario gives my dog his full attention when I arrive. In contrast, I've gone to other groomers who'd take in too many dogs and take 4-5 hours to finish the grooming session. Definitely recommend this place. We have a Yorkie and Frenchie. The Frenchie is not big on grooming and they are so sweet and gentle with him. Have been in 3 times and every time they have been an absolute pleasure to work with and talk to. Our Frenchie has sensitive skin so with other groomers he would get little bumps after getting groomed but not with this place. They customize the experience depending on the dog and their skin type. Came across this boutique pet grooming spa that just opened in the area. I made an appointment and the owner was friendly upon our arrival. She assessed my dog's skin, coat and hair condition and gave me some suggestions to what treatments, shampoo and conditioner we should use. She was very personal, knowledgeable and professional. Best grooming experience l've ever had with our doodle who has to frequently get groomed. Mario does such a good job with our girl who is usually very timid and nervous about being left behind.
