I always take my baby Luna here for grooming and they always send her back happy and cute!!

her classic cut!

This is hands down the best place in southern california for pet grooming. I have taken my maltese Sora here since she was a puppy and she is so loved by all the staff and always comes out gorgeous! If you like the asian fusion or asian style dog grooming they specialize in this as well.

Thank you MOCO for getting our pup photoshoot ready !!!!! He looked so cute in his bday photos!

Super good groomers who cut well fast and perfect!! Usually these 2 take 4 hours (2 hrs each) in a different groomer but here it was 2 hrs total for the full package and good trim and same price. Love that is closer to home too.

We brought our Maltipoo puppy Luna to Moco Dog Grooming in Tustin after a not-so-great experience at our vet's groomer, where the grooming took nearly 3.5 hours and the results were just okay. What a difference at Moco! They had our pup looking like a show dog in under 2 hours. The groomers were incredibly kind, and we loved that they only work with a couple of dogs at a time -- it felt much more calm and personal. We're so happy we found Moco and will definitely be coming back!

Moco did an amazing job on my golden doodle, Moose! I found them by chance while grabbing coffee and I'm so glad I did. They made us feel welcome & he came out looking adorable with the cutest round face. They really pay attention to the details that sometimes other groomers we've been to in the past, have missed. We'll def be back!

Came here several times, the owner of this place is always so nice and friendly. The first time I took Disney to this place, was a puppy never had grooming before, the groomer handle him well. The second time I took my dog (Disney) here, he was not afraid at all, but wagging his tail and seems extremely happy! Dogs don't lie, it is obvious that they treat him very well when I'm not here. The second picture was BEFORE grooming, and the rest pictures are AFTER grooming! Very nice work and the dog shampoo they are using is a great brand, not a random product! If you are looking for an ideal pet grooming place, this should be the one you are looking for!

Adorable new haircut from Moco Pet.

We adore the haircut that Mario gave Nugget every time. The services were exceptional & the precise cut that made my baby look adorable with his new haircut. Thanks Mario & his assistant for taking good care of Nugget.

Mario does such a great job with our labradoodle Chappie. We had some bad experiences before where his haircut was totally botched. This place just nails it! We do tell the team what cut we want and how we like his face trimmed. The team is done with him in 2 hours so you know they aren't leaving your pups there for hours unattended. Thank you Mario, Chappie loves going here and so do we!

Our first time at Moco Pet and I bring in my 2 years old Golden Doodle. I have to say my doggie is not so easy to deal with due to this temper that he doesn't like being touched by anyone other than family members. Mario has no complaint about dealing with my doggie, which I respect him as a groomer and deal with not so easy pet dog. I'll definitely be a come back customer as I want to support local business and I can see they are passionate about their work. Thank you!

So fluffy!

My maltipoo looks happy after his fresh haircut at Moco! The lady was very attentive and asked detailed questions in advance to make sure my dog is getting the best haircut :) Since he's a poodle mix, his hair is very curly and matted on some spots. He usually hates being brushed at home, so I've been searching at Yelp to find a decent place, which I did! He is now so fluffy with no mats, and the underpaws are nice and clean :) Would definitely come back ! Thank you!

Mario did a wonderful job with my Maltese. I wanted her to have a "Korean Maltese haircut" and she turned out so cute!! I selected the full package- bath, spa, and haircut. Mario also took time to speak with me with my dog's overall condition which was great and mentioned a few things I wasn't aware of: Violet's hair inside her ear was so long and it's prone to get infected and so it was trimmed. Mario also mentioned Violet still has some baby teeth with her adult teeth so advised that I can take her to the dog dentist to have them pulled out. If you have tiny fur baby and want to find a groomer who handles small dogs with care, look no further and try Moco Pet Grooming and Spa. Attached are a few photos. The 1st one Mario took to show me how she turned out. And I took a few others (she has some hair stains so I hope they grow out soon and I will watch carefully her face so no new stains will form. So the next grooming session the hair stains will be long enough to be cut off).

Ask the Community - Moco Pet Grooming & Spa

I have been calling the past two days and no one answers the phone how am I supposed to schedule with them? I also stopped by in person on a day they were open and their doors were locked.

Thank you for reaching out. We will close on Monday, and we has temporarily closed yesterday that we did deep cleaning. Sorry for the inconvenience. You can call us by (657)532-2069

How much do they charge for grooming?

It depends on the type of cut and probably how easy or difficult the dog is to deal with. I would suggest calling them for an estimate.

Most of the time, our dog's cut is incredibly cute though once in a while there is a slight miss. They will usually try to get you the look you want and make adjustments as requested. The only note is that pricing jumped near 10% at least two years in a row. With tip, it can cost nearly $150 or more for a small dog cut, which does seem pricier. Would love to see price increases calm down so we don't get priced out of affording their services. With that said, we still keep going because it's hard to find the level of service and good to great grooming technique used by the Spaw. We have not used other services here so will not comment on that. Plenty of parking and decent availability, but I would call at least a couple of weeks in advance for scheduling. Thank you for keeping our dog looking cute!

They ask for vaccinations records and need the 6month shots before they take your dog in. The reception area looks like a spa. It's clean and pleasant. There is a gate by the front door so dogs can't run out onto the street if the door opens. Unfortunately you cannot see into the grooming area. They keep the door shut at all times and there is no viewing window which is different to what I've seen at other places. To me this was a red flag. I told the lady at reception what i wanted and she translated in to the groomer. The entire grooming experience was done very quick, they took an hour and a half. Is this a good thing? I thought so. Until I saw my dog. The cut was uneven and choppy. His face didn't have a good finish. He had been nicked with the shaver in a few spots and had blood. His nails had not been cut. And he was dirty!! I actually called back to ask them because I genuinely thought they forgot to wash him! She didn't acknowledge anything I had to say or check with the groomer. She claimed everything was done and he's clean. She wouldn't listen to the fact that when I rubbed a wipe over him the white wipe was brown! I could see bits of white fur all over his black coat. It was gross. She said you can wash him again if you like! We had to wash him again at home and I re-cut his mouth area myself. Disappointed with their reaction to my feedback when i called so unfortunately here it goes publicly for everyone to see.

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

It goes to show that the groomers really do take good care of her. They've literally been part of her life (at least for her grooming experience). Once she's all nice and clean, the groomers always call or text me saying she's ready. Sometimes they even dress her up with a cute little bow~ There was a time while they were grooming her, they found a small scab on her body and immediately messaged me about it. It wasn't their fault actually, but it was because my dog was playing too rough with the two dogs we had at home. I do super appreciate that they reached out on this. It goes to show that they do care about animal welfare and immediately bring anything that could be worrisome to my attention asap. Definitely love their service and friendliness! They've been pretty accommodating especially when it comes to moving appointments up (or back) and one time when I was off by 30 minutes, they called (were very nice) to make sure I was still showing up. And still took us. Our dog is a Hungarian Puli so his coat tends to cord on its own if we don't brush it often (which unfortunately we don't). Kawaii has been great about taking out any mats and camouflaging it as best as they can. We usually have a great laugh when we pick him up as he looks like he's heading to a job interview instead of his shaggy self. They've also been working on our Siberian cat who we didn't get groomed until we got our dog and he was gumming her up with his drool all the time. They've been great about preserving her coat and sending her back to us fluffy and clean. They definitely deliver a consistent product and have been very easy to work with.

I originally booked myself with a different stylist but was asked if I'd like to be rescheduled with a "golden doodle specialist." The caller seemed disheveled and stressed but I unfortunately paid it little mind. Great! My boy will look amazing after his trim. I came in with my shaggy but unmatted boy to get him cleaned up around the eyes and rump for hygiene, maybe paws as well. He is a puppy and should to be used to the groomer after all. Unfortunately, the stylist showed me what looked like velcro straps for the lengths with numbers. I didn't piece together very well how the lengths would translate to the dog. My last dog was a golden retriever with straight hair, not a golden doodle. I showed a picture from the same breeder, same breed. Just older. The stylist insisted it could not be done and went along and took my dog anyways. With a price of $100-$120, I was sure he'd turn out well I still gave the benefit of the doubt. I then waited ~3.5 hours for my pup to be finished. I expected it to take atleast two hours but since it was his first time, longer. So seemed on time. Surely the cut would be amazing Uhh... look at the pictures I can see some people liking this cut but I WAS NOT expecting what I got. I kept my composure but was very disappointed and shocked. If I wanted a shave, I'd have done it myself and saved $120. The salon at that time was also rather chaotic as the stylist's dog was barking and she said she would put him outside if he would not be quiet. Far too much for my young pup whose first professional grooming had been done here. I left without saying anything and decided to ask for a discount over email after my thoughts settled, but my partner called rather frustrated before I could. She was met with rather unprofessional comments. "It will grow back." "Your boyfriend didn't say anything." "It wasn't the same dog." "We can't do it." I made many mistakes. Lapse in my judgement by not reading red flags, not leaving after the stylist said she could not cut my dog the same way as the reference, and failing to see the customer service is severely lacking. TLDR - Tell them what you want and if they say they can't do it, leave. Do not use their velcro length suggestion. Do not bring young and anxious dogs here as their handling is meh. I do take responsibility as I heard afterwards that this is a common occurrence with Goldendoodles
