We didn't get any glasses from here as we're waiting on an updated eye checkup for my daughter in the next week (from somewhere else), and the staff didnt mind that all. Great service. I walked in thinking I would need to pay out of pocket based on calling my insurance. My insurance card said I had vision benefits and I spoke to 2 people at my insurance company; both told me I would pay out of pocket. The receptionist saw my card and based on previous patients, had a feeling I had VSP benefits. She called VSP and received approval for benefits I did not know about! This simple phone call and going the extra mile in customer satisfaction resulted in significant cost savings. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I called a different clinic and they turned me down based on my insurance provider, not knowing I had VSP. I also like they have an option ($30) to take a photos of your eye instead of dilation drops. I hate the side effects of dilation, especially if I have to look at a computer screen for 8 hours afterwards. Highly recommend NewVision. read more

Please be aware! Our family has gone to Dr. Moscovitz for quite a few years. My 19 year old daughter home for the weekend from college went in due to having eye problems. She needed to get a new perscription due to 1 of her lense was too strong, this was a perscription Dr. Moscovitz gave her. And this is not even my reason for writing this warning review. My daughter was completly taken advantage of by this office. She was given very expensive lenses that she did not need, when she asked to have what she had before. When my husband said why did you do this? They said oh sorry they are already paid for and oh by the way you own $20 co/pay! We will never go back to this office and I want to warn anyone who may. Be careful to not get ripped off and hope you are given the correct eye perscription. read more

When our 5yr old got a splinter stuck under her eyelid, Dr M called us immediately after hours, came in, got it out, and regularly screened her eye. All the 5 star reviews are true, this is a great place! The staff is really friendly, from scheduling appointments all the way to picking up glasses. They told me it could take up to 1.5 weeks but my glasses were ready in a few days. I also like that they are fully computerized and do everything online. I got email reminders about my appointment, and an email when my glasses were ready and even a survey to rate them afterwards. Clearly they care. Dr. Moscovitz is a really nice all around person. After the usual eye chart and all, he sad down and spent a good 10 minutes talking to me just about us moving to the area and even helping me with doctor recommendations, etc. read more

The more I think about my experience there the more upset I get. I came out of my way to this office because this office offers Lasik recommendation. It was also time to do my regular checkup so I might as well do it there. I usually get my contact lens fitting when I do my yearly exam, so I also had checked the contacts exam box on the form. Toward the end of the exam the doctor still didn't mention contacts fitting, so I asked about it. He told me that there was not enough time to do the fitting. The other exam part took longer than usual, so I was fine with it. But then he gave me some lenses and ask me to try it at home. They charged me $75 for "contacts fitting" but NO fitting was done!! Sure, this is not my first exam and I know for a fact that contacts fitting doesn't get covered by insurance usually and I used to paying that part out of pocket. But since my eye prescriptions didn't even change from the last year and really no "fitting" of any sort was done other than the doctor giving me the same lenses that I am already using, I asked if I can just skip the contacts fitting part. A mean old lady that works at the front desk said "no, you cannot skip it. the doctor already done the test" Again I repeat, there was NO FITTING DONE! $75 isn't a lot of money and I had been there for a long time by now, so I just wanted to get out of there. I didn't come all this way to get humiliated. I paid whatever charges that was on the bill but I am NEVER ever going to set foot in this place again. read more

You never truly know a rock star until you have a serious problem. I have been using the services of NewVision for myself and my family for years. Two years ago when I fell and thought perhaps I had blurry vision caused by a detached retina; Dr. Moscovitz got me into his office minutes after I called. His state of the art equipment showed that I had a detached retina. He then made immediate arrangements for me to be seen by one of the top ocular surgeons in the region, the very same afternoon. I had the appointment with the specialist and surgery the following day. Their team was able to save my vision, and honestly it was Dr. M's swift response and connection to the surgeon that I can credit with my vision today! When I was choosing new frames I wasn't seeing anything I liked and they offered to order in several different ones in my size so I could come back and try them on. Then when my glasses were ready and I had some problems with the lens they took it and fixed it for me without any complaints. They were always upbeat and striving to create the best situation and experience for me. Don't go there...Service is very frustrating. First they missed ordering my contact lenses. After 3 weeks I call them to check on the status, they realized they had missed ordering it and was told that someone would call back to give the status update. One more week later, no word from them yet. I call them again to find that it was finally ordered and hadn't received yet. Experience with Dr. Moscovitz was also ok. Have had better friendlier providers earlier. His attitude was "here's your prescription and get out...". Avoid New Vision Eyecare and find a better eyecare provider in Sammamish Area. read more

Everything went normally like you expect in the appointment and getting the Rx, but the bi-focal lenses I bought through them have never been a good match. I bought single focus Rx computer glasses through them with the same Rx as the bi-focal pair which work very well. But somehow, even after trying to get them adjusted, I have struggled with the bi-focal pair for about 1.5 years now. I can't wait to get hem replaced. Both Rxs on the bi-focal pair are off - but the distance Rx is the worst. I have to slide them way down my nose to see clearly. So overall I rate NewVision Eyecare at a 3. read more

The front office staff is so nice. They were great with my kids, and they remember me when I call. My daughter lost her glasses two months after she got them. New vision was willing the discount the new glasses when I ordered them, then we found them two days later and they were super accommodating in canceling the order and refunding the money. A few years ago I fell while I was bringing my open house signs to my car. It was a minor fall, I thought nothing of it. I went home, thought my vision was blurry from being tired, and I took a nap. When I awoke, the blurry vision was still there. I knew something was wrong. Even though he had a full schedule, Dr. Moscovitz got me in immediately and diagnosed a torn retina. He referred me to a specialist and I was able to get the laser surgery within 1 day of when I saw him to repair the retinal tear. Thanks to his care and immediate action, I am able to see beautifully today out of the eye with the retinal tear. Time was critical to retaining as much of my vision as possible in that eye and Dr. Moscovitz' quick action is what saved my vision. read more

I found all the staff here to be very knowledgable and helpful from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Dr. Moscovitz took care and time in explaining things to me. They also have this wonderful machine there that allows you to avoid the annoyance of having your eyes dilated, if you choose, and instead have a simple photo taken of the back of your eyes that takes about 30 seconds.
