A kiosk is located within the building, which houses electronics, household goods, sports/gym equipment, sundries, furniture, appliances, a bank, and a separate place for awards, shadow boxes, plaques, etc. The other building has clothing, accessories like shoes, bags, jewelry and perfumes and is a 2-story building. Everything is so clean, bright, and organized. We were able to switch over to T/Mobile and saved money. The young ladies, who helped us were very patient & friendly. We bought a few items and check out was quick & very hospitable!

As always, every Ross only cares about getting you in and out. Not manners or how to be polite. Pay and leave. God forbid their timer is over how quickly they need to get you in and out that the person at the counter doesn't even have time to grab their stuff and leave before you call the next person in the line. Some parts felt a little sus but it was broad daylight so it wasn't too bad. I found some longer gym shorts and it was only $8. The attendant was kind enough to let me come back to the dressing room to immediately change into the new pants I got! Security seems tight in the front. It seems like you must get eyeballed by security and you need to show your receipt on the way out. I told them that I'm wearing the pants I just bought and they were totally fine. This Ross was not the best in terms of shopping experience because I felt the store was a bit claustrophobic, but due to my unique experience of needing new pants immediately the staff was very nice about the whole thing!

Don't shop here. The…read morecustomer service area alone is a reason to avoid this store. It routinely takes 15-30 minutes just to reach the counter due to how slow and understaffed it is. I had a very strange, off-putting, and anti-consumer experience trying to return a DVD that was sold as new and sealed but was damaged inside once opened. The damage was not visible prior to purchase and was discovered only after opening the sealed packaging. The item was not damaged by me. When I first went to the electronics department, I was told I could purchase a replacement DVD and then go to customer service to return the damaged one. Most items are kept behind glass, which already makes shopping here frustrating. It often takes several minutes just to find an employee to unlock anything. At customer service, the team leader on duty, Nybo, who was working Saturday, January 3, 2026 around 11:30 AM, stated along with her staff that the situation was my fault for not knowing store policy and that Walmart does not accept returns on damaged physical media. There is no signage in the electronics department, no notice on the locked media displays, and no disclosure at the register stating that physical media is final sale even when defective. Had this been clearly disclosed, I would not have made the purchase. During the interaction, Nybo laughed while I was explaining how confusing and unreasonable this policy is. Her tone was dismissive, and her behavior appeared to set the tone for the rest of the staff. At one point, security was called to the area even though I was calm and not being disruptive. The hostility was coming from the staff, not me. Even small local retailers will usually correct an issue when they sell a defective product. Walmart refusing to stand behind an item it sold as new while blaming the customer is extremely disappointing. I have escalated this issue to corporate and will be filing a formal complaint. I will not be shopping at this location again.

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.
