While very expensive, her special charcoal product is THE BEST THING my husband has ever found for heartburn. It comes in powder form and should be swallowed with water. One small packet can be taken right before eating. A troublesome, especially acidic meal will have no negative effects whatsoever. It works immediate miracles even after meals. Good stuff. Nice name for a woman and not bad for a store filled with surprise after surprise. If you like colorful and different type of clothes, this is your place. My first thought was that they were mostly catering older ladies, but the pieces are very versatile and several age groups friendly. They all have in common cool colors, pattern and whimsy! I spent a long time in the second floor (where the sales are, trying to maximize those $25!) and tried out wonderful dresses with no pressing, no hassle, all the time of this world. What a pity that everything I liked was either too small or too large, but equally pretty. Eventually I got a very cool tote bag with inspirational messages (by artist Kelly Rae Roberts, coincidentally one of my favorites) that was 50% off plus the cutest pair of socks depicting a very funny (who would say considering she always posed so serious) Frida Kahlo! Prices are touristy but check the upper floor for deals. The ladies working there are amazing, very helpful and have all the time the customer wants. I felt like I was invited to a home party surrounded by beautiful objects with warm women. Only missing thing for me there was a cup of tea and some cookies...I would have stayed even longer. My wife was sad that most of the shops were already closed so she didn't have a chance to see what kind of things they had here but we'll try again the next time we're here. They don't have a lot of parking in the lot so you'll have to drive around to find a spot. My wife loved eating at the restaurant here though. There was a lot of people here looking at the decorations and they had a live band playing. I was pushing our daughter in her stroller so it was tight here and with a lot of other people here, it's not the best place. Some shops were still open but the main attraction was the decoration and band playing. They had outdoor bars too so it's almost like a concert area. I found a nice place to park my daughter stroller and see the stage but we didn't stay long because of the loud music and crowd.

I only have two malls i consistently go in San Diego, the Fashion Valley Mall and the UTC Mall…read more However, UTC mall is more of a leisure... to walk around and kill time, for my son to play at the playground, for the festivities on the holiday season especially Xmas, to have family fun dates and good food experiences at nearby restaurants and the mall I always go to every time I have issues with my Apple iPhone and techs. The fashion Valley Mall tho, is my main mall. This is the mall where I actually do most of my shopping. We watch movies at the AMC theater when we have extra time and get food at the cafeteria/food court area after hours of walking. My son never misses going inside the Laderach to get a free taste, the best chocolate there is. We love going to this mall, especially with my son now being a teenager, we would most likely be doing lots of our shopping activities here especially at his favorite boutiques, like the zumies, Hollister, Rayban, and plenty others I do not recall.... We also love going to The escape room where the mall is. My favorite is the Nordstrom Rack! ;) The holidays tho could get really packed and busy but there's alot of nice things to see and lots of good deals to look forward to.

The mall itself has great stores, but what stood out to me was the number of homeless individuals throughout property. As a shopper, I did not feel comfortable walking around the mall. My two young kids were very uncomfortable, I have to move them from the food court and sit and eat elsewhere. For a high-end shopping destination, I expected a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment. Management needs to do a better job maintaining the property and ensuring guests feel comfortable while shopping. Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning.
