This is a great gym for any time of the day workouts. There are a few treadmills, stair climbers, cardio machines to the right when you walk in. The turf is massive and they have wonderful strength equipment. The locker room is clean and pristine!! They also have amenities and showers if you are booking it to work after. If more up close and personal training is what you are looking for they have that and it is a low key environment so you get the 411 and the lay of the land. I enjoy having this as an option when I want to do my own thing. If you are self sufficient in the gym this will be your vibe. There are boxing classes too in the early mornings and after work. They are so great with the kids and it frees me up to lift, play pickleball, or participate in a class. They will watch your child for up to 2.5 hours which should be more than enough time for a workout and shower. Additionally, kids can participate in fun activities like rock climbing, ballet, hip hop dancing, and martial arts while you work out. The thing that really drove home the value for me was the parents night out. Every week they will watch your children for 3 hours on Friday or Saturday night. On the pickleball front, it's hard to beat having 6 indoor courts, which are relatively easy to book - all at a cost of membership that is comparable to pickleball clubs.

In particular, as a customer of the Allen Spa I have never understood why the spa did not have it's own bathroom facility. Massages, facials, and hair appointments frequently take a while. It is reasonable that someone would want to use the restroom before, during or after a service. The idea that you have to walk across the entire facility to the locker rooms for their 5 aged and sad looking stalls in the ladies locker room seemed ridiculous and potentially embarrassing. So the "brilliant" answer was using the much closer "family" bathroom in the "family" locker room. That was workable, but certainly not a great answer. And now they have decided that Spa clients are no longer allowed to use the "family" bathroom. I do not know the real reasons why, but I assume it has something to do with not being a "family." Locked out! So we are now fully expected to trek our foiled, caped and oily bodies across the very large and very public facility to those previously mentioned locker rooms. I know of no country club that would expect its members to parade around in such a manner, nor inconvenience their hard working stylists and therapists with a bathroom so very far away. I really wish the Lifetime would fix this situation. It makes visiting the Spa stressful rather than Zenlike and peaceful....which is how a spa should feel.

this is THE go-to gym in allen. great equipment selection, great rates, and the regular crowd is…read moremostly agreeable. staff is generally nice as well with some really stand out members. shout out to amaan! also this is one of the spots that uniquely has a women's-only area built in, in case any women would prefer to work out in their own area. my friends tell me wait times for popular equipment can be better there too overall, good vibes here. when i was a member, i had a 9.99/mo plan with a $35/yr annual fee, that was a golden era. even with the price increases i still find it worth while to maintain a yearly membership, but there may be better more flexible options for if you don't primarily live near a fitness connection all year but still want to have a gym to go to when you're in town (specifically for college students, teens, and young adults, read more below) complaints: 1. i really wish that i could maintain a more flexible membership as a student or person who doesn't live near here all year (with a 1 or 3 month no annual fee plan). what prevents me from maintaining an active membership is usually the high mandatory yearly fee added to any contract length. prices can be good specifically if you sign up for a year and/or catch a promotion, and sometimes you'll see deals on shorter term plans, but in general, it's significantly more expensive than a yearly plan, which just doesn't make sense for the community. flexibility for young adults and teens should be prioritized a bit more here with really shorter term or seasonal pricing plans (i.e. a winter break membership, summer break membership, etc.) 2. some gym equipment is out of order occasionally or really worn down. it's not as bad as some other places and in general most if not all equipment is in good condition, but sometimes that one machine i want to use is out of order, and i wish turn around times were faster for repairs. 3. the men's locker room almost always has an unbelievably pungent sweat smell. it's generally clean in there with a nice sauna, shower area, and plenty of lockers, and it is cleaned every day without fail, but something should be done to maintain a better smell there.

We had already talked to a manager the day it happened and it was okay but they decided to be dirty about it and listen to a crazy person that is not all there. they told my husband they were going to call the cops on him when he went to the gym tonight. I guess this time I will need to cancel our membership because this gym doesn't want to hear both sides of they story. Every time I have seen her after the issue, she stare me and my daughter down and makes it uncomfortable to wokout but they don't care about that issue. I will be canceling my family's membership and will find a better gym.

The staff are courteous and frequently on the floor sweeping. The lockers are large, clean, and work well. The women's locker has shower stalls. A good mix of people work out here so it seems friendly and inviting. I use my multi-gym access so I cannot comment on membership pricing. My access does not incl "Black" spa room etc. I enjoy working out here. It has everything I need. Note: PF often runs a teen special so high school kids can work out for free over the summer.

He walked me through all the goodies: weights, recovery center, sauna, fitness classes and a bunch more, all bundled into different membership packages. I was suprised learn it costs about the same as a cute TJ Maxx outfit or a full tank of gas if you're feeling like getting the full membership. And get this: you can bring a friend for free every single visit. Love that Crunch Fitness thought of this built-in gym buddy system, nice idea! I've got a few of friends who rave about how much they enjoy their membership. They say it's a great place to network with other business professionals or just vibe with likeminded fitness folks. I didn't sign up today because I'm checking if my UHC insurance might cover it (I might already be a member and not know it). But if you're thinking about it, I recommend joining! Look at their Yelp offer and take advantage of their one day pass to see if it fits your vibe.
