I had a nice experience at this gym! I'm exploring boxing gyms in the area and this one got me…read morepretty sore the next day! You get split into two groups if the group is larger- team 1 on the bags, team 2 on the side turf. Jerome was the instructor (and the owner here), and is very patient with new people and just correcting form in general. People tend to lose their form when they get tired (myself def included), and he was there mainly at the bags helping my friends and I out and making sure we weren't approaching it in a poor fashion. I believe most of the people here are regulars, so its got a pretty "familial" feel. My one note is about the cleanliness- the gloves stink! I'd bring my own and get past that though. You can get a better deal if you buy packages at the Jym directly instead of online, so call ahead!

This is the best workout I've ever had in my life, hands down! I found out about this place from my…read moremom because she had purchased a Groupon online. I decided to check it out because I was looking for a more intense workout, on top of the swim classes already take. I signed up for a one-day free class, and I was absolutely hooked! This is a full body workout and you will get a really, REALLY, good sweat. If you decide to continue beyond the one day free trial, there is a 30 day intro option which is about $39. If you decide to do it continuously it's about $60 a month. Yes, you heard me right! You get a quality work out AND it's affordable. I've tried doing title boxing and I love kickboxing, but their prices are insanely high for the average spender. Once you're signed up classes are unlimited, and you can pretty much come anytime during the week when they're open. Jerome is the instructor/owner and he's really good about helping you get going. DON'T feel intimidated. There are people of all levels in the classes, the most important thing is to keep moving and to keep hitting the bag. If you can't do a certain exercise you can always alternate it for something else. I like it because it's not all boxing, but other exercises incorporated into it as well. I definitely recommend you give this a try. If you don't feel the class is for you, then don't worry. There will be no one trying to harass you into buying something you don't want. I plan to continue on a monthly basis. :)

Is it possible to lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks for real? I did not believe it but I lost 20 lbs!!!…read more Camp Transformation Center is truly a hidden gem. They claim that if you follow the process, you can lose 20 lbs in 6 weeks and more importantly you learn how to keep it off. 6 Weeks ago, I was in worst shape of my life. I had not worked out in a long time. I hated thought of going to Gym because results were so slow. I accepted that being fit is not something I would be able to achieve. A friend recommended Camp Transformation. I decided to visit the location. First thing I read on the door was "Warning This Place Can be Addictive". It was intriguing. I was greeted by Sam whom I found to be extremely sincere and genuinely interested in making a difference in client's health. He took time to explain the program and I felt there was absolutely no sales pressure. He showed results of people. They have a TV screen and I saw pictures of people who had lost 20 lbs in last 6 week's challenge. I was bit skeptical about those pictures. I thought they may be photoshopped. However, after our discussion, I was invited to free class and I met the people whose pictures I was, all of them were starting their second weight loss challenge and I realized that all of the pictures were real and I asked everyone if they actually lost that much weight or now? Each and everyone said yes, they did. Hence I was convinced that the program is genuine. I signed up for the program. Was it a cake walk? Absolutely not but what I loved about the program was they outlined everything in black and white. They show you how to follow the program step by step. If you do, you get results. In the first week, I did not drink recommended amount of water and my results were not good. Good thing is every week you do a weigh in with camp director and he reviews your progress and makes recommendations. Camp director Sam reviewed my progress and asked for food log. After reviewing both, he made recommendation and sure enough I lost a lot of weight next week. Not everything goes in linear manner. Weight loss is not linear. After few weeks I hit plateau. I was concerned. What I found out that these people have experienced all types of scenarios and have proposed solutions. They had a plan ready if you hit plateau. It was incredibly easy to make few changes and get back on track. Today was end of 6th week and I did final weigh in. I LOST OVER 20 LBS. It was an incredible feeling. This was something I could never imagine. Thank you Camp McKinney! My success was due to following: 1. Process - if you follow their process, it just works. 2. Trainers - Trainers at these camp are amazing. They are so sincere about people's transformation, they pay great attention to members and they will modify work out routines for anyone who has challenges such as bad knee. 3. Camp Director - I can't say enough good things about Sam. He was always there. There were times when I did not believe that I could reach my goal but Sam did. Everyday he kept on telling me that he was confident that I will meet my goal and with his guidance, I did. 4. Diet - They give you fantastic diet plan. All you have to do is follow it to the T and you just can' go wrong. They also have so many recipes that you don't feel that you are missing out. 5. Support System - People in my class were so supportive of one another. Everyone made sure that people achieved the goal. It was such a great energizing environment. 6. Facebook group - They have facebook group for members where you can post any question and hundreds of people will answer right away. There was never a situation where it felt like I did not know what to do. For example, I had to travel for work and did not know how to follow meal plan on the road. I posted the question and within minutes I had so many recommendations. 7. Supplements - If you need supplements, they have plenty of options which help with your goal. Again, there is no sales pressure for you to buy them but if you do, they are there at a very good price. Now I have so much energy and confidence. I look forward to going to the gym everyday. In addition to weight loss, I have made so many life long sincere friends. All of the intangible benefits are priceless. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give this place a perfect 10. It exceeds all of the expectations.

She informed me that I would need to email the tc camp and after 30 days my membership would be cancelled. I immediately emailed and she sent a reply back saying that she received it which occurred in late February. After 30 days, I was still being charged weekly all the up until May. I called the corporate office in May to inform them that I was still being charged and that I would like my refund for the over charge and to stop all payments. They told me that someone would get back to me in 7-10 business days, however this did not occur. In the mean time, I have texted Sam who never responded to me and gone up to the gym in which I was told it was nothing they could do. After being charged again in June, I called corporate again and asked to speak with a supervisor and he told me that the only way they could give me a refund was if the gym was to approve it. I told him how was that possible if I went by the correct policy and did what I was suppose to do. So I was then only refunded one charge that was in June and completely ignored for the rest of my charges. I have emailed again and called with no response. These people are scammers! I would not recommend at all.

Coach's beware!!!…read more This place is set up well for the members and has pre-determined workouts that are really good for low to mid level fitness goers. Not at all leaving this review for the member side. However, if you are a coach and thinking about working at an F45 please make sure you are extra upfront with the time you are willing to give to "Interview". I am a Master Fitness Trainer, retired Army, ex Drill Sergeant and current coach for a bodybuilding gym. I wanted to fill a little extra time so I starting the process of working for them. Fast forward a few days short of a month after many classes and driving sometimes across town and had yet to even talk about pay, there is no process. I understand it's not going to run like the army but there has to be process that each person goes through. I had zero issue doing a few classes to make sure it was a good fit bit there has to be a limit. Would end up working with different people who have different vibes so you are not sure where you should and shouldn't step in so makes it hard and awkward, I honestly can't really blame the coaches at all because you show up and they have zero clue how many classes you have done, your background or qualifications so of course they are hesitant to let you really step in. On top of that everyone does things a little different so you constantly being judged based on their outlook, very awkward. Please if you go to interview here be clear and up front about expectations and pay, or you will be like myself out a month of time, other opportunities, and gas with nothing to show for it.

Like everyone else who is a beginner at Club Pilates, I was unsure if I could keep up or even complete a class. With the help of my instructors, I not only conquered those doubts but exceeded my own expectations. The changes in my body are remarkable but it didn't happen without dedication. I started out with 8 classes a month but over time I evolved to 3 - 4 times a week. Today, I'm proud to say, that within months, I've earned my "100th Class" t-shirt - it's like a badge of honor from Club Pilates! I wear it with pride, lol. One of the most remarkable aspects of Club Pilates is the professionalism of the instructors, including the friendly faces at the front desk, as well as Karen (the CP general manager). Just as important are the connections and friendships I've made along the way - an unexpected bonus. In addition, Club Pilates hosts a variety of free workshops that teach and bring members together. There is a hierarchy of capable individuals who are dedicated to handling anything you think is a problem, no matter how big or how small. Throughout this journey, I have encountered a few frustrations myself and once I made the effort to speak up (either to the front desk or email the general manager) it was always a simple fix. I want to extend an encouraging invitation to anyone who may be curious or hesitant. Club Pilates offers one free class so you can dip your toes into the world of Pilates and experience firsthand the positive impact it can have on your life. Call the front desk and ask how you can sign up for a free intro class. Don't feel intimidated, this initial appointment is to show you how anyone can do it. The environment is comfortable, the instructors are easy to talk to and they will answer all your questions (especially if you're concerned about health-related issues). This journey has redefined my understanding of Pilates and my new goal for this upcoming year is to try new classes and new instructors. No class is ever the same and I really enjoy that variety and challenge. If you're considering a healthier you, I say try Club Pilates - it might just change your life as it has mine. Feel free to DM me directly if you'd like to ask me a few questions - I'm thrilled to help you in any way I can.
