CrossFit Flower Mound was the very first CrossFit gym I ever tried and they got me hooked!!! This gym not only has awesome coaches (Tucker, Dave, Lindsey and more) but also has an amazing community. Everyone is very, very welcoming and encouraging throughout the workouts. They also push you beyond what you think you can lift, how far or fast you can go, etc, because they believe in you and know that you can do it. I worked out with Camp Gladiator for 2 years before making the switch over to CrossFit. I'm literally only 5 workouts, I dropped 3% body fat. If you're stuck in whatever your workout routine is, I definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

Lets start with this...I'm not a strong athlete and have been out of shape for a long time. I started the year with the typical "lose weight/get healthy" resolutions. Getting to the gym on my own was tough enough and once I got there I didn't know what to do. The thought of CrossFit intrigued me for a while for two reasons - 1. Accountability to get into the gym and 2. Being on a program. Having said that, I was a bit intimidated by the thought of CrossFit. I have seen the CF games on TV and get Facebooks updates from friends who participate in gyms around the country. I didn't think I could keep up. If you are in this camp and live in the Flower Mound area you need to get over it and try it out. Tucker, Dave, Lindsey and the team at CF Flower Mound have been nothing short of awesome. They work with everyone to scale their workouts appropriately - more or less intense depending on your skill/strength and have gone out of their way to help me personally. You will start to see results in four or five weeks and if you stick with it you will be in great shape within two or three months. You will be sore, really, really sore for a while but its worth it. Dropped in today at Flower Mound Crossfit while I was out of town from my normal gym. Really enjoyed the group of athletes and the coach was very knowledgable. Really enjoyed the fact there were multiple 40 something's to work with. Many crossfits can intimidate folks but I felt right at home and they would have been welcoming for any level. Crossfit flower mound was the most friendly box I've ever visited! The wod was fun and challenging There was good thorough stretching and warmup and the coaches were very knowledgeable and good at explaining every stretch and movement. When I started Crossfit over a year ago I was super nervous. I have a health condition that limits my mobility and didn't know if they would be able to accommodate me. To my surprise, they have been awesome! The coaches are wonderful and will suit the workouts to your specific needs. There is no yelling or pushing, just encouragement and support. I'm a disabled veteran with 20 years of service in the Marine Corps and multiple combat operations. I am sad to say Lindsey and her husband decided I did not rate the military discount, it is only for active duty. Nice gesture considering the closest base is over an hour away. I could honestly careless about the $25 discount, but their decision says a lot about their character and how the feel about veterans. read more

I have been working out at CrossFit Flower Mound for close to 3 years now. Love the coaches and the family atmosphere. The workouts are challenging but can be scaled to work with any limitations you have. I have wrist issues and like the small classes that allow the coach to help me find work arounds if necessary. I feel encouraged and have seen myself get stronger. We have our kids train here as well. A great place that I would highly recommend. read more

Crossfit is not just about a great workout, it is about a community of like minded people who want to experience fitness on a different level. Dave, Lindsey, and their trainers are great, but the people doing the workout really help make the gym (the community). The classes are small so there is feel of private training even though you are in a group environment.
