I had water leaking on my carport, a slow shower drain, and a bathroom faucet that had a clogged aerator. They came out promptly and quickly determined what was needed. He cleaned the aerator, said the water was from my washing machine so I didn't need service, and explained how to permanently resolve my shower drain problem. Ryan A. Was great!!! I pay monthly to be a VIP member. Till this day I still don't know what that entails. I was not happy with the customer this last time around, when I called. My air was not coming out cold. I called on a Friday morning was told oh we have to send the person who went to do your maintenance service just a few weeks prior. (Why? It was a maintenance!) in the case this rep might have done something wrong, which I doubt he did. Unless he did something intentional. So, I had to wait till Tuesday. I went days without air, no it wasn't extremely hot but I'm in menopause and not having air when it's warm outside is not good for anyone! Tuesday comes around and they cancel on me. At this point my blood starts to change temperature to warmer not yet boiling. I'm like oh hell nah!!! They reschedule me to Friday. I was not going to be home Friday morning due having to run into the office for a few hours. The service rep Ryan A. called me. I was rude yes cause at this point I was going to cancel my service with Nexgen after they came to see WTH was going on with my air. I informed Ryan I was not going to be home he asked what time would I be home, I said after 5. He asked if he can come between 5-6. I said ok. I explained to Ryan what was going on and what happened. He didn't even look at anything yet and explained to me what he was gong to check on. He didn't try to sell or tell me everything else that needs to be done or suggested to be done: Yes, I completely understand your air conditioner and maintenance is an investment to do the things to keep it running and intact. However, right now in this crazy world we are all having a hard time keeping food in our fridge and making sure we have money for gas to get by. I just needed to put this honest review out here! I am a female home owner and I make the decisions in my home when it comes to who I allow in my home to help us maintain what we have. Ryan didn't BS me. The service was not cheap but it wasn't something that would put me out till next pay period. I told Ryan I was going to cancel Nexgen due to the horrible customer service I had received, till the service he provided. He was patient, not trying to sell everything he could find on his lap top. Using his expert training, Alexander went into the attic, checked the thermostat, and then thoroughly cleaned out the air-conditioning unit. Nexgen installed 2 new Lennox heapumps, 2 exchangers, and a thankless water heater. $37,000. This was 8 months ago. Today, it's 80 degrees in our house because freon leaked out of the new system. Tech arrived 6 hours late, took 2 hours to determine no freon, and didn't have freon to charge system. Every time you call, you are referred to "didpatch." In 8 months dealing with this outfit, "dispatch" has never returned a call. UPDATE: Marvin came out after the first tech and made everything right. We can sleep again! Also, the manager, Veronica, was very helpful in ensuring Marvin came out even though his schedule was booked. Moving the 1 star to 4 star. read more

Took forever for them to send a qualified person to supposedly fix everything, which they claim they did, and lo and behold, we have the same problem again. Now I gotta waste my time arguing with people who say they're going to all you back and forget and then argue with them again about what's wrong and how much more of my money they're going to steal, trying to get someone else out here to tell me everything else that's wrong with it and "fix it" again. Question/Concern: Everytime I request Nexgen to come out to routinely service my equipment. I feel like the techs ALWAYS try to upsell me on something! They've gotten me twice, weather it's an extended warranty or extra parts for my equipment. The last time, I did purchase a $1200+ air purifier thing for the house, I believe I purchased the 2nd from the most expensive item. Yesterday, Thursday 2/5/26, the tech mentioned to me "that he noticed I bought the $1200 one, but for a few hundred dollars more, he thought why wouldn't I want the next one up"? He also pointed out to me that some pilot igniter in my furnace wasn't changed out by the last tech, but he noticed it's still working but looks all worn out and should be changed out. He told me that this part is covered under my 10 part and labor warranty. I told him okay can you change it out then? He stated "No" that next time I call in for my next service, to mention it to them to have this changed out. Sorry, how in the heck, am I going to remember that? ‍ He told me my AC condenser is dirty and needs a cleaning, that he can do it, but it's $400+ to do. I asked him, this isn't covered under my service? He said "No", I almost wanted to kick him off my property. So I asked him, so my warranty I have is just have my equipment serviced, is only for Nexgen to come out and do a visual inspection and that's all? He basically said "yes". Is this a normal practice? To be honest I was going to post this on Yelp, but since you and I have established this working relationship and I'm comfortable with reaching out to you, I figured I'd share it with you first and let me know. It makes it a HUGE turn off, to even call Nexgen to come out to just service my equipment because I know at the end, the Tech always try to sell me something else. I bought this equipment brand new either in 2019 or 2020 and it happens everytime! If I ever need to buy another furnace or AC unit. I'm probably going to look elsewhere where! read more

I did give good reviews in the past, but it's clear now that they don't stand by their word or service. They do not honor their commitment(s), but want the customer to. I schedule an appointment for Saturday they said I was told verbally when they selling me the "Membership for $99.00" That I would receive a call the night before or the morning of the appointment. Once I paid the $99.00 the email they sent me said the would only call the day of appointment and give me time window. Instead they texted me at 9:19 in the morning saying they had an emergency repair and they would not be coming at all, and when did I want to reschedule. I texted them back to cancel the appointment and the membership, since they can't keep a simple inspection appointment. I have receive no response. read more

Techs for HVAC were OK. They came to both of our houses. They check things, but they do not do any tune-ups. They are just trying to upsell. So it is a waste of time. The tech for the plumbing (although we paid through Home Depot ) started "I am not working for Home Depot and I have my own Prices." Rancho Cucamonga, CA Area. He wanted an extra $900 for a toilet installation (that we have already paid $300 at home depot) because he said it was on the second floor. read more

If I could give them a zero, I would. We purchased two HVAC units, a furnace, a water filtration system and a full house replumb with this company. We did so because I was retiring and didn't want to deal with major home repairs in my later years. In addition, we purchased a 10 year labor warranty with a 25 year parts warranty. In October our HVAC system leaked freon. The company wanted to charge me initially for the entire repair, despite my Protection Plan because "they couldn't find it" and the freon was not their responsibility. I aptly noted if their part has not failed, we would not have lost the freon. After escalating my concerns numerous times, I finally got the repair done under warranty, as it should be. Now, our AC unit is out again, only 8 months later. The repair technician I called out on Saturday couldn't fix it and said I had to have a manager look at my HVAC unit to ensure it was being properly repaired. However, the manager can't come out in the 22d of June. It's 96 degrees outside, and they can't fix it for another week? Why offer a warranty if you don't have the capacity to actually make repairs? Maybe NexGen should either not offer warranties, get better equipment or contract out the repairs. I called yesterday and this morning, still have not heard back from NexGen. Do you use this company. I fully believe they are scam artists at this point since they've done absolutely nothing to prove otherwise. Go with a local contractor and stay far away from this abhorrent business. read more

When I called the number on the original receipt of my hvac I was directly connected to Nexgen. Nexgen bought a company that installed my HVAC. I recently discovered my restroom vent was crushed during the hvac installation. Photos attached. I thought whoever was responsible for this companies wrongdoings would fix the issue. The issue also is not complicated, it's a simple replacement of 20 foot inexpensive vent tubing. Yasemine was extremely unhelpful to resolved the issue. I felt they would either fix the issue caused by the company they bought or give me a fair price to fix the issue. Yasemine was one of the rudest people to discuss the issue with. Not a friendly person. Not trying to simply resolve an issue in any logical way. Zero accountability was taken by her on behalf of the company. My experience was not good and I will not be using or recommending Nexgen services to anyone in the future. read more

I have held my tongue for a while because my service has been so up and down. Problem one I am always harassed about doing some time up unnecessary upcharge or service which is not needed. First time I called for a plumber to check my waterline behind the fridge. I was told the line was old needed to be completely redone. Estimate was for 500 dollars to fix it. Called a other plumber who came out tightened the line in less than 5 minuets and was done Took advantage of a free water heater flush. Was told my machine was old and close to failure although it looks brand new and I just moved into my hoke. Was told I need to replace the machine and get a bunch of work done. Quote was $10,000 for a new water heater. And $15,000 if I wanted to go tankless. Called them again to take advantage of their acc tune up special and to review my machine. Since it had been some time since my last service with them. Acc tune up is to come with a dynastic of the machine and coil wash. I told the technician recently the machine started having issues cooling the house. One no cleaning or mediocre cleaning was done. Went outside he said he was done cleaning, no water was on the floor. I went outside later to see one side wasn't even remotely touched Later he tells me the machine needs the condensate line to be cleared and the machine needs a deep cleaning and degreaser. Mind you the machine is less than 5 years old and was a full install inside and outside. He did a few other tests inside, heard the machine making some very odd noises I've not heard before. He came back with a quote that was for 325 each service. Looked online and found there was a coupon for 100 dollars off service which was not mentioned at all. Against my better judgment I accepted getting the condensate line cleared. After maybe 10 minuets of blowing air on just the inside of the machine he came down stairs and said he was complete. I asked him does he not run a vacuum from the outside line to make sure it's clear. He said he did not have a system vacuum. Signed off for payment and he came back to put in the filter. Machine started acting weird again worse than before. Went inside to see the new filter was eaten up. Not sure what my issue is, but I know this company is not the one to help me. read more

Had service July 3rd for a recharge on my hvac condenser. The tech named andres Contreras came and said I had a leak at the union nut on the condenser. Not only could he not explain what the union was called, he told me it was going to be a $1300 charge to fix the system. The condenser units are located by my office window and I head him talking to whom I presume is his manager or boss. The manager was walking him through the process of how take off the panel to get to valves to test the system. He was having a hard time understanding what he was doing and the boss was making jokes the whole time. Once he tested, the boss said "just put in two pounds of refrigerant to show how good the guy (me the customer) has it with ac and then charge him full price and if he decides to not do it bleed the system". What a scam. Theme Andre's the tech comes in and says I can fix the system, it has some issues but I can do it do you authorize the price? I asked more questions and he kept persisting I authorize the $1300 charge. I told him no way am I authorizing a charge of $1300 when you are being coached the whole time. He told me I'm paying for his expertise and his services. Then tells me that 1 pound of R-410a refrigerant is $476 a pound when market value is $45-$90 a pound. This company has shady practices and they are dishonest. I also was never given any sort of receipt or invoice. What a scam and my system still has issues. No help no real service read more

Bought a Home depot toilet with installation, they contracted nexgen. They missed their first appointment and when I called to find out why, they had me booked for a month later. Missed 2nd appointment the following day. Missed 3rd appointment they delayed earlier. Missed 4th appointment they delayed once again. Texted me to me call a plumber who had no idea why they had me call him. I mean, I'm not even mad, this is amazing. It takes incredible talent to be this bad at a job. Witnessing such a feat of useless twattery was entertaining. I called someone else who showed up within 2 hours and did the job for less than I paid the nexgen clowns. My recent experience with NexGen was not good. They tried to sell me a hvac unit for $12,500 to $25,000, saying that all my furnace is going to be expensive to fix the parts so I'm better off buying new machines. I got three estimates from other companies and they said that I don't need to get a new unit at all. I prefer Hush HVAC in Riverside if you guys are looking for a company that is reliable. Btw this is actually important to mention. Nexgen is actually the one who broke my furnace in the first place by misplacing the filter during the maintenance that I paid for. The filter was placed recklessly making all the dust go into the furnace which clogged the pipe. Absolutely, the worst! read more

The technician was very thorough in his inspection and cleaning of our H-Vac system. NexGen had installed all new ductwork about 6 months ago so we didn't anticipate much new needs. We got charged for nothing, they replaced the cartridge hardware and the dang thing still is not done right, there's still a leak, they charged me $700 for nothing, their technician now says that the shower valve needs to be repaired which will be another $2400 I feel totally scammed. Where do I start... We purchased two AC units and an extended warranty (for an additional $2k). 10 days ago one of the units stopped working. They came out, charged us @$500 for work not covered and order a part they said would be in a week ago. Getting a response from them is impossible (unless you count the half dozen apologies with no concrete answers). It's always the same. "Wait till the end of the day and we'll let you know". Then no response, or we'll check tomorrow, or another apology. In the meantime, my family suffers in 100+ degree heat. Update: Promised to get back to me TODAY. (You can see from their response). So mad right now. Had Marc come out to give an estimate, he gave us a price for 2 units because we have 2 dwellings. He priced a 5 ton and a 2 ton with a 5" hepa filter. We signed the contract and when they came out the next day they said they couldn't do a 5 ton that it had to be a 4 ton. ODD RIGHT!!! Then when i questioned it was told there was no price difference sine they added a bigger intake. We asked Marc for extra HEPA filters since we spent almost $31k and so a few days later a tech came out with a 1" little filter that you can get at Home depot. We said no way we are suppose to have a 5" and he said it was never installed and we were never told so we ran the AC for 5 days with no filtration and our unit stopped working on saturday. Only after 5 days of using and i can't get management to call me back because it was on a weekend. SO FRUSTRATING!!! Now need to take the day off work for someone to come fix it. read more
