NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! They are the worst. Corey was a great asset and employee, but once they let him go, it all went downhill. No return calls or text on updates, material delivery, job completion. Couldn't even get the owner of the company to return my calls or texts. The receptionist told me several times someone would be in contact with me, but that never happened. Obviously they have broke contract and have no intention of finishing the job, so I will find a reputable company in the Spring of 2023 to complete work. Next Day construction is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with! We went through next day to get our roof done and it took them close to a year to start. The scheduling department never gave us a straight answer on when anything was going to be done nor did they let us know that they couldn't get the colors we requested until after they started demoing. The crew they happened to send over not only were drink alcohol on site, but they also broke my neighbors window. The crew also did nothing to help temporarily repair it or fully fix the window, so I had to. This company happens to be filled with the most unprofessional people I've ever met and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

These people are totally unreliable. It took a year for them to come out. When they did it, they were sloppy and unprofessional. They left my outside water faucet on, nails all over the place, tools laying around, brought their dogs, and even parked their trailer right in front of my mailbox until I had to ask them to move so I could get my mail. As for the job, they did not use accessories, such as J-Channels, where they were supposed, as a result some siding has come off of my house, some of it is bowed, they did not overlap the siding in a consistent direction, and part of my bottom row is hanging because the starter strip is high and I can't even put the bottom row into the starter strip. I have over a page of issues with every side of my house and my 2-stall attached garage with one problem or another. Then I asked them to come out and fix it and they never did. I don't even get a reply. I finally went to the owner, and he ignored me. The only time he responded to me was when I threatened to take him to court. He then replied within a few hours and said that it would not be necessary to do that, and he would come out first thing the next day. He never came and has not responded since. I have gone to the Better Business Bureau and the Bureau of Construction Codes. The BBB can't enforce anything but did report it. I am still waiting to hear from the assigned person from the Bureau of Construction Codes. I have done everything but hire a lawyer. Still debating on whether I want to do this or just tear it off and redo it myself with my sons. In summary, do NOT go with Next Day Construction. They have very low-quality work, they never get back to you, and do not back up anything that they do. I can't say enough how bad of a job they did and how crooked the owner is. Too much of a coward to even sit down and talk to me about it. read more

This company should not be in business. They are taking people's money, making promises, & than not doing the work. I contacted & communicated with them over 30 times with empty promises each time. They left a uncompleted job, destroyed the sun windows that were in our roof to the point where the NEW contractor could not reuse them. They left the job partially completed, the dumpster in our yard (we had to find them to come retrieve it & it destroyed the front lawn) Sales guy in beginning of this all was great...after that it was all downhill including the Owner Ed. They really need to be sued for all the money they are taking from people & not doing the work. If they are still in business that is a shame. CAUTION...do NOT use this company unless you are ok with sending money to them & not getting the job done. The only lesson learned I have now is that I will be VERY CAUTIOUS with contractors from now on. BBB have been notified. I did call Bureau of Construction Codes, but they said that I would have to get a lawyer, which will be the next step after the BBB answers. read more

I would give them Zero if I could this is the biggest scam roofing Company. They got the insurance check and decided to cash it before the work was done and it wasn't signed by me. I hope my insurance company goes after them for theft. Do not trust them. read more

my roof is sinking in not even one year later, Ryan from their informed us that the roof was NOT done right in that area and caulked it to be back a week later to completely fix it along with the gutters that retain water and aren't hung right. Now almost a month later 3 no shows and no communication! Owner says "well is it leaking" as if that makes it okay to not fix it! I would highly not work with this company as know we are going into legal action! read more

Unprofessional poor quality hire-anyone-who-can-swing-a-hammer operation. Still waiting for a refund of the money I paid upfront, and will likely take them to court to get it. Sounds like I'll have to get in line. Not only did they not do the work I paid a deposit for, the work that they did do caused damage and had to be totally redone by a reputable contractor. They had the nerve to send someone to collect the balance of what was "owed" and when I walked the guy over to my barn to show him the shoddy work that was done, caulk that looked like spilled toothpaste smeared on the siding and pieced-together crap instead of the custom-created materials I was told would be made in their shop, his face just fell and he promised to tell the owner right away to call me. We talked and then they started to put me off, put me off, gave me some fake gmail to send all my documentation to...what a mess. Never hire this company. Complained to the BBB but they can't enforce anything so small claims court here we come. read more

A special thank you to Robert from Next Day construction who helped us get our new roof this summer! We live in Ovid Michigan and got hit hard with the huge hail storm this last June. Our insurance company inspected our roof and didn't any damage. But just to be sure we called Next Day Construction to give us a second opinion and we are glad we did, Robert came out and was able to go on the roof with our insurance adjuster and help him find the hail damage. 2 and a half weeks later we have a beautiful new roof that was completed in one day! Then they came out and cleaned up twice making sure we were 100% satisfied with everything start to finish. Thank you again so much we really love our new roof. read more

Funny story. I called a company thinking they did siding. The don't. But they said hey, we would be happy to recommend a business. I said great, thanks! They recommended Next Day Construction. (Note to self, call that window company back and let them know about my experience with their referral!) I called Next Day Construction, explained what I needed done and they set up an appointment with me to get an estimator out. So I schedule my upcoming day around that appointment. About 15 minutes after the person was scheduled to arrive I called Next Day and said hey, is he still coming? I planned my day around this. They said hang on, we will call him. They came back and said he got hung up at a job, can we reschedule? I said sure. So we rescheduled for that Friday. Guess what? Yup. No show. I called about 20 minutes after the guy was due for his appointment on Friday. The lady on the phone said "Hang on, let me call Dalton." She comes back on the phone and says "I left him a voicemail, IF he calls me back I will let you know." Sooooo.......I just hang out and spend the rest of the day waiting? Okey dokey. Cuz I got no life. No job. I mean, not really, I actually have a job but apparently this means nothing to Next Day Construction. Dalton calls me later in the day and said the office is not supposed to schedule appointments for him on Fridays. Bad office person. Bad. :) So Dalton offers to reschedule. Have you heard of the saying screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice, shame on me? Well crap, I've already been down this road TWICE with them. Do you really think I am dumb enough to try a THIRD time? Apparently I am. I mean hey, Dalton said he's the sales manager. I am in sales. I mean, the sales manager isn't going to lie to me, right???? So Monday roles around, 3:00 appointment. Guess who shows up???? NO ONE. Not Dalton. No one. Guess who called me??? NO ONE. Damn. Well, we all know that construction work/home repair is in high demand. Apparently companies like Next Day Construction have no respect for people's time and take a booming industry to mean they can treat people poorly. Guess what? One day, and it might be a few years, you are actually going to have to earn peoples business. Your going to need to have some skills, treat people appropriately and respect their time. And here will sit my review, letting anyone who looks at reviews know how you treat people. And just in case Next Day Construction isn't aware, most people read reviews these days. Now they informed my 93 year old grandma that they were going to put a lean on her home if she didn't come up with full payment in 3 days. What kind of company bullies a 93 year old woman? read more
