After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. My priors manager's communication was terrible and to make things worse they were also unapologetic and unprofessional. I think the latter may have actually pissed me off more. After my frustrating experience, I spent a lot of time researching for a better property manager. After interviewing Kendra, I decided to switch to Chambers, and the difference has been unimaginable. Kendra and her team have been nothing short of amazing. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely make me feel valued as a client. Kendra's communication is excellent, she's quick to respond and always keeps me informed. The level of service she provides has given me peace of mind, something I desperately needed. I also appreciate having Chambers PM, specifically Kendra, to serve as a resource. My other properties are in Oakland and Walnut Creek, which is currently out of their service area, so I self-manage those rentals. And any time I have question about landlording or just need a second set of eyes on a tenant application, Kendra is willing to offer her expert advice, even though those properties aren't being managed by Chambers (yet! when/if they come to the Bay, those properties will be managed by Chambers.) My tenants are also much happier now. Kendra doesn't waste any time finding reliable tenants to fill vacancies whenever I may have one and her attention to detail has made property ownership stress-free. I feel very comfortable reaching out to her whenever any issues arise because I know she'll handle them promptly and effectively. The Chambers' team are a wonderful group who are truly engaged with their clients. Kendra's informative, has great communication skills, and goes above and beyond for her customers. I brang it up because I was told by maintenance that might gut our walls. They got mad because our maintenance told us that. & Regency said our apartment was fine & had ppl walk through before we expressed our needs to accommodate us. We were getting sick because they didn't clean the vents that happened because of the fire. We couldn't use our swamp cooler because the vents were black from the smoke damage. It was rat & mice invested all around & in the apartment conplex. I heard the person that was trying to work outside the window say the next door neighbors apartment that was burned was very rat invested. Don't recommend renting from them. We got charged extra for a lot. Took the whole deposit. We made work orders & had insurance that couldve helped. We moved out and returned the keys before the prorate date & they still charged us extra after the deposit. I tried to clean a lot of the smoke residue on the floors & walls but it was making it worse. I put a work order for that as-well. They dont care about their renters. & We had to pay for our own mailbox key when we first moved in & asked us to return it. We didnt get reimbursed for that either. I wouldn't recommend anyone renting from here unless u absolutely have too.

Due to the lack of professionalism and poor communication from your rental company, we are no longer interested in renting this property. The extended delay in processing our application--despite submitting all requested documents within 24 hours--is unacceptable. It should not take two weeks to review a complete application. Additionally, the failure to respond promptly to emails and text messages raises serious concerns about how future issues would be handled. This lack of responsiveness gives us little confidence in your ability to support tenants if problems arise. I strongly suggest improving communication practices and setting clear expectations for applicants moving forward. They are just prolonging application process to collect application fees from other tenants !!! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!! The worst ever!!!

Spenser asked if they videos could get shared with tenants and owner , I reluctantly emailed if you think that will help but be careful of our privacy. The Tenant problems got worse and I contacted IPS to find out what the solution was ? I then was told after they shared my video with the tenants and owners that IPS doesn't get involved in neighbor disputes. What ??? You should never have shared the videos to make the situation worse and then tell me you don't get involved in neighbor disputes. The agency set me up for more retaliation after I asked them to be sensitive to this group of "bullies" that your tenant belongs too. Don't trust they will do the right thing with their tenants instead of causing more trouble. I can't believe the answer to the problem is to put the problem back on my family. Very unprofessional with handling tenant issues. They make living by their tenants very uncomfortable. Shame on your agency for causing more problems after you said you would take care of problem.
