scammers take your money and either don't do what they say they're gonna do, or they'll put cheap parts when you pay for expensive parts

He told me the codes came back to "internal transmission failure" when it was codes for burnt transmission fluid and the overdrive solenoid/TCC. After he figured this out, he came back in and told me worse case scenario it would need a new torque converter (which doesn't make sense since it wasn't slipping) and quoted me 1500$ to replace it. He then told me it would cost 3000$ to overhaul the transmission, but it would cost me 200$ to diagnose it further. After I figured this out I was floored and decided to deal with it on my own. After one simple Google search I figured out it was TCC boost valve clip. Infact this is such a common problem with these transmissions that dodge sells an updated version of this part. I spent 40$ and two hours fixing my transmission when your shop wanted to charge me thousands. This was the first time I have taken a vehicle to a shop to have work done on it, and it was an unbelievably terrible experience. You run a shop full of thieves .
