He was very responsive; came by one evening to explain his two step process and quoted us a price. Told him we wanted him to do the work but needed it done by the end of June. He said he thought he could make time in his busy schedule; which he did. We agreed on a date. He followed up and showed up as promised with a coworker. Scott came and gave us great quotes for a bunch of stuff. We started with painting ceilings and…read moredoor frames. When it came time to do the work, he sent his "right hand man" Ed. Poor Ed has some major personal issues going on that distracted him from working at the task at hand. I talked to Scott a few times about that but was insured it would be fine and Scott would come out and help. Scott came over once on a 3 day job. The final day (Fri 5/12) Ed left before I got home. When I came home, it was left unfinished and a mess. I messaged Scott and told him what I saw and Scott was to come over in Sat (5/13) to clean up. Today is Wednesday 5/17 and haven't heard a word from either of them. Unfortunately, they were going to do more work and I had to pay them 1/2 up front but cut it short so they ended them up being paid in full for the painting. I took pictures on Sunday 5/14 (time stamped with another phone). I spent my Mother's Day cleaning up. Oh and one of the days, Ed left a box cutter on top of my fridge but on the door so when I opened it, the knife, tip down, fell and actually stabbed right through the bottom of my fridge. I have 2 toddlers that could of been right at my feet when that fell. Not sure if I can post pics so here's the list of what was left- (the app keeps shutting down when I load pics) *Painter tape around the whole bathroom and around a large picture window in the living room *living room ceiling wasn't completely painted (glossy paint was here before and you can see spots) *paint on top of the fridge *Paint on our wooden beams that go across ceiling *paint on floor in living room *An actual cut in the sheet rock where they used a box cutter around the door frames *door frames- they popped them off a little to do a "good job" but when they put them back, the nails cracked some of the wood and then they gobbed something over the nails but never sanded it down *paint trays and a garbage bag left in our garage *They actually used one of our paint brushes and we found it in the garbage bag
