Got the Ruben that they are known for and they pile on the meat. Only critique would be Rubens don't travel well and got a little soggy in my 20 minute drive home. If we had waited for a table it would clearly be one of the best Rubens I have ever had. My son got a turkey, egg and cheese bagel and said the turkey was amazing. The no frills dining area didn't look like anything special even though it was packed. I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time and the food definitely lives up to the hype. I WILL be back.

But I'm not as much a fan. My deli "go-to" items are matzah ball soup and brisket sandwich and I feel this place falls short on both. Soup is just ok, nothing special, the broth is pretty bland, matzah ball is fine. But it's moreso the brisket that's disappointing. I keep giving it a chance but every time it's the same fatty, unappetizing meat. I much prefer how the competition a half mile down the street does those two items. I'm sure we'll be coming back here again ... I just need to remember to try something different next time. And lower my NY standards.

I found this place specifically thru Yelp because it was featured on the "Top 100 Sandwiches" list,…read moreso I stopped by with a few friends during my visit to Denver. I must say... it deserves it's recognition. The Banh Mi here is excellent! I got to try the LEMONGRASS GRILLED PORK. The pork is well marinated with a slightly sweet taste. There is a good amount of meat inside. It typically comes with cilantro & jalapeños inside which you can always opt out. But I feel like the sauces & veggies inside paired so well together. The bread is super crunchy that you will be in a bread crumb mess afterwards. But, it's all worth it because it tastes great. My friends all loved it here. For a traditional Banh Mi experience, I would totally recommend this spot. Ordering is super easy. There is a machine in which you can order & pay through there or go straight up to the counter. The food will be ready fairly quick so you can be in & out within a few minutes. And there is a parking out front. So, there is no reason not to try this place.

Was looking for a light lunch option while I was touring nearby DU, and found this place based on…read moresome recommendations. So glad I came, this place is fantastic. Service was great, food came fast, but most importantly, the banh mi was hella delicious. I wish it had a few more jalapeño, but I bet it's a local preference thing, and I'm sure if I asked, they would have added. Also, I'm kind of a pig when I am away from home (hence my search for something light), and I'm always concerned a sandwich doesn't fill me up, but I am stuffed. Way more satisfying than a Subway sandwich, although comparing the two is somewhat insulting to this banh mi. I added the combo that provides an egg roll and iced coffee (I was going to buy a coffee for $5 anyways, the combo is $4. No brainer). Coffee is also delicious, and much larger than I thought it would be. TL/DR - Highly recommend this place. I will come again next time I'm in the area. PS - Tables are clean, restrooms are clean. Bonus.

I found this spot specifically thru the "Top 100" 2026 list on Yelp…read more This is one of the few restaurants featured in Colorado, so I had this spot on my list. After finally making it out with my friends during my travels to Denver, I can definitely see why it was reviewed well enough to make it. The Banh Mi sold here aren't the typical Banh Mis you would find in Viet shops because they put their own twist on these traditional sandwiches. They have really unique options & a good variety of meat choices. It seems to have some French/Japanese/Korean influences woven into these creations. The menu in-store also offers detailed photos of whats inside as to help you make your very difficult decision on what to get. I personally got to try PHO-FRENCH DIP which features beef brisket. Upon first bite, it was delicious! The brisket is plenty. The hoisin & sriracha sauce paired with it all. The veggies appeared fresh & crunchy. The bread was fully baked in-store. Since it's a tribute to the french dip, they had their own rich pho broth type soup to dip it in which complemented the sandwich well. The dip was good enough to kinda drink as well. Overall, I felt the food offered here is great - you can't go wrong with any decision. My friends and I said that we were all impressed & would like to come back again if possible. I too would want to come back to try their braised pork belly next time because that looked good!
