Also the parking garage is only accessible through an app but there is NO cell service in the garage. Getting out was a struggle. We had to walk the phone up the ramp to get a good enough signal to press the gate open button in the app. Which would have been impossible if I was a solo traveler. Concierge was extremely patient and accommodating but the property could use some improvement to be more convenient and comfortable for guests.

Austin Yelp is littered with cab/transport horror stories; late pickups, no shows, unprofessional drivers and so forth. Luckily I have never ever experienced any of these with Hicham. If you need a ride to ABIA at 430AM he arrives at 420AM. Pickup is a breeze as he monitors your inbound flight and is always on time rain or shine or during rush hour. Many a times I've texted him that I've caught an earlier flight or I'm delayed and he is always accommodating. I've also used Hicham for personal travel, Cedar Park to downtown, for SXSW and when visitors are in town and we need a DD. Admittedly we are a very perfectionist and overachieving couple with sky-high expectations for everything we're involved in. Cristin was the only person we interviewed who could keep pace with us. We knew immediately that we wanted to hire her. We were looking for more than day-of coordination, but not full-blown concept development, and she was the only wedding planner we met who understood intuitively how to provide that level of service. She was professional all the way. I never got the feeling that she was trying to upsell me on anything, or trying to force me into booking her own preferred vendors. We had chosen most vendors ourselves already, but I did go with her recommendations for a rental company, lighting company, and florist. Every vendor she recommended was as professional and attentive as she was, which was a huge value-add for me since I didn't have to navigate Yelp to find quality vendors in my price range. The KW staff were all pros as well - Cristin brought 4 people with her to Laguna the day of our wedding, and they did exactly what we wanted them to do - kept everything running smoothly without bothering us or our mothers for anything. They aren't hovering in the background of our professional photos. They weren't barking orders at our guests. In fact they blended in so seamlessly that many guests either didn't realize they were there, or thought they were wedding guests! Finally, I have to commend Cristin for solving many last-minute crises that popped up. She was able to locate an ADA ramp for a wheelchair-bound guest less than 24 hours before the wedding, and she ran a lot of interference with the extremely rigid venue staff throughout the planning process. We'd book KW again, for a wedding or for any other event with extremely complex logistics. They didn't forget a single detail.

TBH, if you do not meet Miriam or know a decent amount of Spanish, you are going to have to pull your translation app out and put it to work. For the items I needed, I was only charged $450 and that included delivery and pickup! You wouldn't believe the quote I received at other higher end rental stores; let's just say the price was a little over $1,000. They do not have a ton of stuff, but if you are in the market for a piñata or you are on a tight budget, I do highly recommend this store.
