Collin was an amazing server! He made sure we were take care of, made great recommendations, and overall we were happy with the service and food. Ambiance was a vibe. We were in the deck, with misters and a beautiful view. Drian came by to make sure we were covered. Thank you team for a seamless experience. As a previous service industry manager, I can tell when a ship is maintained and well managed.

We went to Quince for our anniversary, and it was a perfect experience in every way. We expected a place with a great view and average food. Boy, were we wrong! The food at Quince was genuinely some of the best we've had in Austin (and I'm not exaggerating). The service was fantastic too--special shoutout to our waiter Antonio, who made the evening really special. We started with the Smooth Hummus and Crispy Brussels. The manager, Chris, came by and surprised us with glasses of champagne for our anniversary, then checked in on us throughout the night. Such a nice touch. For our mains, we shared the Panko Crusted Chilean Sea Bass and the NY Strip. Both were outstanding. We went at 5:30 and took advantage of Happy Hour. Sitting by the water on an overcast July day after the rains was peaceful and relaxing. We'll definitely be back for our next special occasion. Highly recommend!

We arrived for Sunday coffee which we enjoyed b4 we had breakfast ~ 2 cappuccinos (which were quite good) plus 1 glass of champagne for our guest. The weather was beautiful a bit breezy on our side of the restaurant but didn't bother us as any breeze in Austin is a blessing this time of year Our food was all good avo toast for me, the bread was toasted perfectly easy to cut & bite into positioned of the best ever & I do order it almost everywhere My husband adored his Brussels Sprouts plus he ordered the hummus so his Mediterranean breakfast was a huge success. Our guest had a traditional breakfast eggs, perfectly prepared bacon, crispy fried potatoes , a classic for sure but with a spectacular view of Lake Austin watching Yoga on the Lake, people getting on boats to spend their Sunday wakeboarding or just cruising, Quince provides a terrific atmosphere to start your Sunday

Lovely location with beautiful lake views. Our party was seated inside, but it was still a great experience. We went on a Friday night during graduation weekend, so it was fairly busy. The service at dinner wasn't exceptional, but it wasn't bad either. Most guests seemed to be enjoying the patio area, which offers a fantastic view and a great atmosphere. The food was excellent. The appetizers were delicious, and the brisket fries with cheese were a standout. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and it was the perfect portion size. The background music added a nice Latin touch and complemented the overall ambiance very well. Overall, a great dining experience with beautiful views, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

We went to Quince for dinner with a group of 9 friends. There was initially some confusion about the reservation, but they were able to accommodate us. The bar area is very large and we ordered drinks while waiting for our table. There's a comfy sofa seating area in front of a fireplace, which was not on yesterday because it is Texas in June. We were seated at a long table in the inside dining area. Because we were such a large group, we ordered a selection of appetizers to share, followed by a selection of main courses to share. Everything we tried was delicious! Some of the people had raw oysters, which they said were extremely fresh. The hummus with crispy brussels sprouts was a favorite, as were the dumplings. We had a variety of different cocktails, all of which were very good. We tried to order three desserts, but they were out of the blackberry cobbler. The other two desserts that we tried were fine. I think we all agreed that we wouldn't order them again because the cakes were a dry, but we will definitely try the cobbler next time. Our server, Courtney was so attentive and did an amazing job! She checked in regularly, make sure that the beverages and food arrived in a timely manner, and provided great recommendations. Aside from the desserts, the only other slight downside of our visit is that there were a lot of flies. I don't know if the doors to the outdoor seating had been opened earlier or what was going on, but it was not awesome shooing flies all night. Minor point and it won't keep us from returning! Great views over the lake and really people watching!

The views are really the main attraction here- we sat indoors but the patio is right on the water and so nice. We arrived around 2PM and were able to sit immediately. But the food took a while, about 20 minutes. The hamachi in the roll was fresh, but the sauce tasted a little bit like cleaner fluid. The burger was decent, but $26. So if you go, be ready to be paying for the ambience, not really for the food.

Was brought here as a surprise for my anniversary and I am so happy with the experience. A nice cozy table overlooking the water and the lighting made for a great atmosphere. All the food and drinks were fantastic! The taste of everything was out of this world and the portion sizes left room for dessert. The highlight of the whole experience was the service we received from Xan. She was super attentive and helpful with explaining the menu and constantly ensured we were enjoying our evening. I would love to come back here again and when I do I'm definitely going to request to be served by Xan!!

Love Love Loveeee the ambience and the views!! Food was okayyy good portion on the salad though! The main reason to come is for the service from Xan she was incredible and attentive! Definitely made the experience!

A great spot for a business dinner. Beautiful restaurant with parking lots across the street or valet. We sat on the lake at sunset with a view. Great service and the food was fresh and flavorful. We had almost every appetizer on the menu and the tuna & ceviche was our favorites.

Michael was AMAZING! He was very friendly, attentive and he's a great addition to the Team AND Austin! Sitting by the water at sunset with a celebratory toast and great bites was perfect. My girlfriend and I will continue to return. Y'all don't ever disappoint. Thank you Quince!

A few girlfriends and I met here for happy hour and had a great time. Happy hour is Mon-Fri 3p-6p. We had a lovely table outside with views of the lake. Their happy menu rocks with lots of good choices and variety. We had a lot of food and some great cocktails. Some of the delicious dishes we tried were, Rock Shrimp Tempura in Spicy Aioli, Truffle fries, Char-Grilled Octopus, Beef Yakimeshi Bowl and the Hamachi Frida Roll. All so yummy and we got completely filled. For dessert we had the Blueberry cobbler - so good! Perfect for romantic dates or a girl's night out with a beautiful ambiance.

In town from Chicago and a few of us decided to check this out. We had a reservation and they called us 30 minutes before it to tell us we would have to sit outside. It was cold and rainy. We were sat on the patio next to the water. We were shivering and after we let them manager know they finally sat us inside. Jasmine, our server, was the only bright spot here. She was great! But the food was overpriced and just ok. The dumplings were the only thing worth ordering in my opinion.

Food. Ceviche and verde roll, vegan and dip.

Mia took care of us and the service was good. No issues helping to accommodate vegan options for my daughter. The view and area was really nice. Not crowded and easy pace in an otherwise busy city. Good was great. Got the mahumarra (sp). Was really tasty. Also the ceviche was exceptional. Fresh fish. Great lime but not overpowering.

Quince Lakehouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Quince Lakehouse

Is there an actual Happy Hour menu? Can't find one on the net anywhere.... I see their HH is Mon-Fri 3-5:00 but no HH Menu listed on their website or on Yelp.

We were at Quince Lakehouse on 4/13/24 (Saturday). The place was packed, so I don't know if there was a Happy Hour menu for non-weekend days. Hula Hut next door does have a Happy Hour menu.

Are there any light shareable appetizers that would be appropriate for making available for a small group informal gathering?

Definitely! The hummus (with Brussels or short ribs) and toasted pita is one I can personally recommend.

    Is there valet parking?

We went during the day and there wasn't a valet on duty so we parked across the street in the lot. But I saw a valet stand...not sure what hours they actually have that up and running.

    Is there a kid menu?

I didn't see one, but it could be a separate menu and not printed on the main one we were given. Since we didn't have kids with us maybe they just didn't give us one? Sorry I don't know for sure.

    Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, we are dog friendly!

Is there any happy hour here?

yes, there was a happy hour

One of the Table tents, notified guest of a happy hour for oysters, which I'm not an oyster fan, but hey to each their own. Had to try out the clam chowder and it was one of the best clam chowder I've had quite some time. You could easily taste the clams at a really nice consistency not too thin, not too thick and I didn't even have to add any salt to it. It was just really tasty. When the clam trotter was delivered, I happened to look at what other plates were on the serving tray ready to go out in one of them happen to be this phenomenal salmon dish. I asked the gentleman what it was and he said it was his favorite dish on the menu, so of course had to try it the salmon dish absolutely out of this world the glaze on it side. It came with it. Everything just fit really well together and y'all that plate was clean by the time it went back. This place is definitely on my shortlist as I really would like to try some of their other plates again that salmon and the clam chowder really made an impression and highly rate this place if you're looking for a good seafood place in Austin. The vibe of the restaurant was laid-back, but also very open, clean setting clean lines plenty of light and they even had really clean restrooms. The staff also was very pleasant and friendly with every one I interacted with.

Very handsome man, if only he would smile. It was a Wednesday night so perhaps they were under staffed that night & really, you just never know the day someone's had. Way too citrusy oddly dressing on the Caesar. The shrimp were cooked well but the dressing was so disappointing & certainly not Caesar. For dessert, we tried what was called a blueberry pie. However, it turned out to be more of a futuristic frozen ice cream rather than a traditional pie. While it was good, it didn't meet my expectations for an actual pie, and that little twist cost the overall experience a star. We ordered the baby back ribs, hula hut burger, grilled fresh fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and steak tubular tacos. The food is mediocre, nothing stands out or worthy to note. We also got the hula frozen flight, which is well worth the price. Overall, a nice place to hangout, have a drink, and watch the sunset. Food - 3/5 Service - 5/5 Atmosphere - 5/5

As you enter, you are given a choice of inside of out. We chose out on a hot Texas afternoon but was pleasantly surprised at how cool we remained in the covered area with a warm breeze and ceiling fans. Service was a bit slow but efficient. Food came out promptly, hot, fresh and good. We ordered the Macadanut encrusted Mahi Mahi with two filets. We shared. With the free chips and dip, was enough to fill me up and leave enough room for fried ice cream. I wasn't crazy about the cereal cinnamon toast crunch crust, but eh, I've had better. The menu has enough items on it that makes me want to come back. I really enjoyed the bonus of watching the local wild life of geese, turtles, fish and birds. Oh yeah, the music is great.

The restaurant is open, good seating, the display of pizza in the case is very appealing and appetizing. Its decor is well done. The pizza has fresh ingredients and tastes great. Crust is perfect. The lasagna was good but I would rather stick with the pizza. Just my taste. I did have the cannolis and compliments to them- they were authentic. Creamy, crispy shell, and the pistachio and chocolate chips were very good. My favorite. I suppose my only complaint was the pizza and lasagna were a little cool. It should have been a little warmer. The other issue which I hope they take note and move right away is the trash for plates and silverware. It is directly next to the fresh silverware and takeout boxes. That caught my attention and it's not a good place for the trash. Definitely plan to come back, it is worth coming and trying all the food items they have. Next time I might try one of the hot sandwiches and maybe some gelato but definitely the cannoli. That is the make or break for this NY Italian. Thanks for coming to the Domain. I am excited you are near my work. Best of luck.

As an unapologetic East Coast pizza snob, I usually approach Texas pizza with a massive amount of…read moreskepticism. I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

There is a parking lot that was pretty full but not completely. Once inside, we took seats at the back bar where a buddy suggested we sit for faster service. We had menus and water within minutes, and our bartender was attentive the whole time. We ordered a mix of dishes that had been recommended and a couple more: Oak grilled Snap peas, Coconut scented Rice, Chicken Karaage, Tomato and Cucumber salad, Smoked Prime Bavette Plate, Smoked Beef brisket plate, and Chocolate mousse. For drinks we got Thai Berry smash and Mandarin Margarita. Overall, there was good flavor in all the dishes, with well-paired flavor combos, which is the standard Hai Hospitality sets. However, some dishes didn't have as bold flavor as I was hoping. The Chicken karaage could have been bolder. Surprisingly, the Tomato and Cucumber salad had more flavor than expected. The Prime Bavette and Smoked Brisket were great, though a bit pricy. Both of the drinks were excellent, but only got one each as we're not big on spending on alcohol with dinner. Normally I'd go to this type of place with high-end satiation expectations, such as at Uchiko, where actually filling up would cost a lot so I don't fill up and plan to eat a couple hours later. However, we were both full after eating the above, and even had a piece of brisket and some rice to take home. For the quality, the value is there. The service was great, the bartender checked on us multiple times, and gave us updates on what dishes were left to come out once we were about two-thirds through our order. Each time a dish came we got a refresher on what it was from the server, which I like. The place was about 1/3 full at 5 PM and 2/3 full when we left at 5:45 PM, with the volume-level rising. The speed and quality of the meal taken together is excellent-- we were in and out quickly and enjoyed our fine dining. The restaurant was a bit dark; I could read the menu fine, but one older gentleman had to use his phone to see the menu text. At the end of the meal, a small gift card helped lower the price so it was under 100 out the door. We ended up being very happy with the food and experience-- it was great, but it wasn't amazing solely because a couple dishes needed their good flavor to be bolder. No single item wasn't good, and a couple were exceptional, so I'd easily recommend this restaurant and would like to go back.
