The sales director interduce us to all of the staff members as we walked by and she knew all of the residents names which we thought was great. The place was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, things aren't always what they seem. I was…read moreheartbroken when my grandfather was kicked out after three days because he was a persistent whistler. I was under the understanding that staff was able to deal with aspects of dementia, but not this one. His whistling upset other residents, resulting in them (residents) threatening him with violence. Naturally, he was defensive when he was threatened. They sent him to a mental health facility, and as the new facility informed me (he was no longer welcome back at Creekside, per a staff member). I assumed he was done but was assured by management that they would evaluate him after two weeks at the mental health facility, where he strangely had no issues. I should have pulled him out then, but I wanted him to have a nice room at a clean facility. Ultimately he was determined not to qualify to return to the regular or memory care section. So I paid a $1500 entry fee for three days of service and then for an additional two weeks at a place he would never be allowed back at. Fortunately, the assisted living facility he is at now has been going great, and they tell me he is very getting along with everyone, is helpful, and rarely ever whistles. I don't know the difference, but I am undoubtedly upset with how he was treated at CreekSide. It is very disappointing because the place is beautiful, but it seems like they may lack care skills for those with Dementia or Alzheimers.

The staff are truly exceptional and clearly dedicated to their jobs. Keith in the kitchen has been incredibly helpful and kind every time our family visits, and Reniesha along with many others consistently go above and beyond. The family involvement has made all the difference -- his daughters (my mom and aunt) and one son (my uncle) and I, who live nearby visit at least every other day, and the staff have always been welcoming and supportive of that. The rooms are a perfect size, comfortable and well-maintained. The meals are very well prepared, and I especially appreciate that the daily menu is posted in large print on a chalkboard in the dining room before each meal so residents know exactly what to expect. Even when the team is stretched thin, they remain patient, accommodating, and professional. They offer plenty of interactive activities to keep residents engaged, and the weekly church service is a wonderful touch. We still highly recommend Willow Springs Assisted Living to anyone looking for a caring, high-quality facility for their loved one. It's been a blessing for our family.

If I could give this a zero rating I would. This is an LTC and they keep tacking on costs for…read moreservices not rendered and then want to charge you again for a service you are already paying for but did not receive. My family member had a colostomy bag that was never changed. I found four months worth of supplies after my mother left. She also sat in dirty diapers. This very young arrogant and aggressive woman stated that my family member was independent, yet they were charging for advanced care. If she were independent, she would be at home. Because they didn't assist in changing her diaper, she kept getting Urinary tract infections and they wanted to send this member out to a psych ward to "adjust meds" instead of sending her urine to a lab. Even though her Advanced Directive was in place, they wanted to charge her more money by suggesting she see other physicians. I had to put a stop to that. We took our relative out and was told we needed to clear items in two days or we would be charged another month. Cost at time of leaving was $6000/month and all clothes were stolen on more than one occasion. Totally not worth the overly paid babysitting. No care was truly given to our family member All I can say is run.
