What I appreciate most is how wonderful they are with kids. Everyone is patient, caring, and does a great job helping children feel comfortable during a stressful situation. Here is why this place is the best:…read more -They operate like a full-service emergency room and are federally required to be treated as in-network for all *eligible* visitors (must actually be an emergency visit). Their billing person confirmed this. Their website has a lot of info about the billing process as well. -They are flexible and will work with you to negotiate your dues to get the accounts closed out. I was stressing about the bills but their super nice billing lady helped us out. -Open 24/7. I looked at other options that were technically deemed in-network for my insurance plan and some were closed on Sunday. One of our visits was on Easter too. Why even bother with another ER when this place will bill in-network anyway? -Amazing nurses and doctors. Everyone is really nice and patient and takes great care of you. We've been there 3 times since November. Twice for my little guy (he was 1 during our first visit). Nurses and doctors were so nice and patient with him (and he definitely screamed a lot). -It's never crowded or full of sickly people. Not sure if that's a sign they don't have enough business though? PLEASE GO HERE SO THEY DON'T EVER SHUT DOWN. -Easy parking. -There's a cemetery next door which leaves a chance to make a morbid joke upon your departure.

I came to this urgent care because it was the closest to me. I sliced open my finger and it was a…read moreseverely deep laceration. All that was done was a big glop of glue was put on my laceration and I was sent on my way. No X-rays or nothing. Let's also say that the tech that did my intake needs more training on how to properly clean a laceration. He poured the medicated liquid on my finger then immediately rinsed it with water and wiped it all away. When he left the room, I was still pulling gauze out of my wound from where I packed it at work. I do this for a living, so I know he was rushing putting my health at risk. Needless to say, I woke up the next morning with continuous bleeding, infected drainage and the inability to feel anything on that finger. I was rushed the the ER where they did X-rays and they saw bone damage. Then they had to clean it completely out and get the infection out which was PAINFUL to say the least, even with a local. I needed FIVE STITCHES, 3 of which had to go through my nail. Was told I will probably not regain any feeling in my finger and will lose my nail permanently. All of which could have been avoided if the proper steps were taken. My take from this urgent care, they take the quick and easy way out to get patients out of the door, even if it means causing detrimental and permanent damage to patients.

They tried to make me wear a mask- coughing horribly. Second time, Sunday. said no exception protocol. We left. Wednesday. The man I saw listened in two places on my back. Short. Ie 2 secs. No run of swab tests. I showed him prior prescriptions. He ignored the shot and the cough syrup. I asked several times. He gave pills only that didn't do anything. And an albutrol inhaler to use 3-4 x's a day. I did the nebulizer there for 8 minutes in the office. He did not prescribe one for me at home. I did ask several times. Sunday. Cough has now gotten worse. Still not sleeping 9 days now. Was told to wear mask. Told them they don't work. They are horrible for a person with my coughing. No one cared. We left. Sunday Next place Texas MedClinic 5/5 Was not required to wear mask. Swabbed. All negative. X-ray. Not pneumonia. Shot in buttocks. Better within an hour. Nebulizer. Fantastic. Cough medicine for day. Fabulous. Cough medicine for night. Yeah.

I went there hoping to get an X-ray of my back, after a fall. So I had to pay **30** dollars for them to say they couldn't help me !! Moral of the story.......NOOO X-rays on the weekends !! ;--( They "are" nice. But I wish I could've gotten an X-ray. But they "did" tell me what I "really " needed was an M R I. So I paid 30 dollars for them to tell me that.

Went in for an early AM heart procedure and other than waiting 15min at the front desk for someone…read moreto come on duty, I found St David's Georgetown location to be easy to find (my Uber driver dropped me at the correct entrance) , clean, quiet and modern. The campus is smaller than other hospitals I've been to, which helped me arrive on time, and avoid getting confused about which building my appointment was in. With multiple heart doctors on my team, I can mix up who's doing what when and where. This hospital was manageable. I was in a shared room, (my first) but I had the window side, with a curtain drawn between the two bed areas creating adequate privacy. The single TV on the wall seemed to be more on my side, but there wasn't time to even turn it on. The very attentive nursing staff were busy asking me all the standard questions, double checking my medication list and fasting requirements, what I was there for, etc... all very professional, pleasant and efficient. When they had me ready for the cardiologist, I was wheeled into the surgical area and a new group of faces introduced themselves, went over a few more questions, and then the anesthesiologist said hello and I next thing I said was goodnight! Afterwards, back in my room, I was able to order lunch and had the salmon with veggies and chocolate pudding. The entree was so good! The BF (and my ride home) had arrived just in time to feed it to me as my right arm was in a contraption from the procedure. Discharge came with lots of aftercare notes, phone surveys and a handwritten thank you note signed by all the nurses. Nice touch!

He also treated me for anxiety in January. He was very patient and understanding, but matter of fact. The female PA, Felecia Male, is rude. I saw her for a pneumonia follow up at 4:30 on a Friday. I'm sorry, but if you don't want to schedule appointments that close to closing time on a Friday, then DON'T. She rushed me, was incredibly non-thorough, and interrupted the nurse who was still taking my vitals. She was apparently in such a rush she was done with the appointment literally 60 seconds after the nurse took my BP. Dr. Male (Ms. Turner's brother actually) is SO NICE. I tested positive and was treated for the flu in January (yes, awesome...). I have never been to a doctor that pleasant. He was jovial, professional and honestly he's pretty cute, lol. One of the nurses/receptionists that answers their phone is rude, but the rest of the front office staff are very nice. My favorite nurse is the older lady- I can't remember her name but she has long curly black hair. Love her! They accept BCBS for a $25 copay. Unfortunately, I'm sure I'll be back, haha.
