He came across as condescending and bothered by my questions about the medications he prescribed. I was a nursing mom at the time, and needed specific information about how the medication options might impact my infant. Williams location: Told the woman at the front desk I am there for an xray. 2 hours later the nurse told us their xray machine was broken. She said didn't the lady at the front desk tell you? Had a 5:00pm appointment, arrived and was told I wouldn't be see for over 2 hours. They were still accepting walk-ins and other appointments, why would you continue to accept walk-ins? I felt sorry for the front desk employee since she kept getting into arguments with customers, but it's fair to be upset when you pay $70+, have an appointment and still having to wait for hours. They close at 8, so if you have a 6:30-7 appointment I wouldn't even bother showing up. This is the second time I've been here WITH AN APPOINTMENT and waited over two hours either in the lobby or just sitting in a room listening to the staff talk and giggle outside the door. read more

Appointment was at 10:40 and by 12:00, we still had not seen a provider. Made the appointment online and there was one person waitlisted in front of us. We walked out after receiving three 15 minute tests concurrently for strep, flu, and covid. We walked out and won't be back. It would be more considerate to schedule their appointments differently to avoid patients waiting for an hour and a half to see your provider after making an appointment first thing in the morning. read more

I am currently waiting to be seen for a TB Test and the front desk woman named Itzumi is chit chatting on the phone in such an unprofessional way. I had a question, she sighed and frustratedly said hold on to her personal call and said "yes?" I asked if I could make a returning appointment for a TB test and she said you don't need one it only takes 10 minutes. Well we will have to see since she didn't want to go above and beyond to make me an appointment and if I am here for hours in a couple of days I will be irate! I had my test which took literally one minute and as I was leaving, Itzumi asked for money. I handed her two $20's and she said it was exact change only so I had to pay with a card which barely had money on it. I was really frustrated then, she didn't even have time to give me my receipt because I walked out so angry. I think they should really consider training their staff to be warmer to the patients. I went in with severe cramping and nausea. I thought it was a reaction to a medication I was taking and told them so. They did not physically examine me or take any blood or uribe samples for analysis, but gave me an anti-emetic shot and prescribed oral pain meds (which I couldn't keep down) to the wrong pharmacy. I kept deteriorating after I got home and my daughter insisted on taking me to a proper ER at Seton Ascensuon Williamson. They gave me IV fluids and did bloodwork, which indicated very high white blood cell count. They then ordered a CT scan, which confirmed appendicitis. Surgery was performed shortly thereafter. I had gangrenous appendicitis. If they hadn't operated quickly, I am not sure what my outcome would have been. I have had a good experience here with a minor cut in the past, but will not be returning for anything other than a minor cut or scrape. Scary experience. read more

This place got 1 star because they were quite courteous and the PA and MA had a good bedside manner. The PA needs supervision because she's not completing a thorough exam on someone that comes in with Covid like symptoms with a relatively high fever of 101.6. Auscultating the back lung fields not a thorough exam. This is supposed to be free standing emergent clinic and it is NOT! I had to come home and call a friend of mine that's an MD to get an antibiotic that should have been given by the PA! Substandard care! Everything is fine when you go in. But if you need anything after, you're in trouble. Each time I called I had to tell them everything all over again. I got short after they sent on a wild goose chase for meds because they did not call to see where to send it. Then we are sick with covid trying to handle it and still chasing meds 2 days late. I was angry last phone call. The office called back and told me they called it in again Then told me I better remember to be "super respectful with her" and promptly hung up on me like a 13 year old. I have two sick babies one with strep one with RSV. I went in to get tested because I'm having some symptoms and want to isolate if needed to not reinfect or give it to my combat veteran husband who has COPD. The medical assistant was cold and told me she's not certified to give the test so come back tomorrow and someone else could. I asked her if the physician could do it. She told me she'd ask. the physician told me at first that they don't usually test anybody, except for the critical, the young and the elderly. Would wait to see if strep was positive and go from there. It was negative and she still wanted to prescribe me steroids and antibiotics, without even testing me for anything else. when I pressed for the rsv test due to close contact with infected she told me that they don't have any at all. Even though the medical assistant told me to come back tomorrow when somebody else is there and they can test me. I simply asked for a refund so I can go somewhere else to get the test I need. My co-pay was $33. When I paid at the beginning I gave her $35 and she gave me two dollars in change. Great. when I asked for a refund she gave me $31 a dollar being change from her own purse. No biggy but when I asked why I'm not receiving $33,she said she already gave me the two dollars and argued with me for a good 5-10 minutes before telling her manager that somebody else came in and she just didn't have the change. If this is not malpractice, I don't know what is. If they will test for Covid with no symptoms why would testing me for rsv be an issue? And I waited a hour to be seen WITH an appointment. I brought my 4 year old son in to be seen. He had been experiencing high fevers, cough that has lasted a very long time, asthma issues and other symptoms. When we arrived we were informed that it would be a wait because we didn't check in a head of time and there were others ahead of us. When we finally got seen my sons fever was spiking. They never once offered any medicine for him. During the exam the doctor stated that she only saw one tube in his ear which should of been two but she didn't want to go looking any further for it and I was supposed to follow up with our ent. After waiting a long time my sons fever was getting worse. We were diagnosed with a horrible cold but was prescribed medicine for his cough. Not even 24 hours later my son woke up with a huge fever, chills to the point his teeth were rattling, lips were purple blue. Rushed him to the emergency room where they took an xray and found out that it wasn't a cold he had full blown pneumonia and he had both tubes in his ears. But PNEUMONIA this doctor should of picked it up right away but failed. Total miss diagnosis and the medicine that she prescribed is not the correct medicine for him so now he was switched to another med. Do not use this facility for your children. I have lost all faith in them being able to diagnosis a child correctly. read more

I was seen for stitches very quickly. There was little to no wait time. The location is very convenient. However, I'm pretty sure that the wound was not cleaned too well. The woman who was cleaning it gave up because she couldn't see for the blood. I'm 90% sure I see grass coming out of it now... I was also not asked about my tetanus shot history, which is dangerous. Another downside is that I was not given any discharge instructions or any papers. How am I supposed to care for my wound? The doctor was great, though! No pain, even for stitches, which is impressive! She was also very warm and friendly. Edit: There was DEFINITELY grass in my wound in plain view. Tweezers got it out. Welcome to the only bad yelp review I have ever given. Wish I could give 0 stars. I NEVER leave bad reviews but man, this place is awful. Go somewhere else. I have been here twice, the first time was horrible and I thought I'd give it a second chance. The second time is just as terrible. My first visit I waited a long time, only to be seen by the rudest nurse I have ever come across, I wish I remembered her name. I was pregnant at the time and severely dehydrated because I had awful morning sickness. Speaking with them over the phone I explained the situation and they told me to come in. Then the rudest nurse I've ever encountered explained to me that they dont have meds or an IV they can give me. SHE LITERALLY TOLD ME I WAS HURTING MY BABY and that I should have gone to an ER. Why couldn't they explain that over the phone, when I told them exactly what was wrong with me. I NEVER got a bill from them, until A YEAR LATER!!! At which point they had already put my account into collections. After trying to reach the billing department for 3 DAYS the issue finally got taken care of 2 days later. My second visit, we had a long wait time again. My niece and I went in for a COVID test, she was visiting from a different state and was getting ready to go home. They told me over and over again that my niece's test would be covered by the state even though I explained she's from out of state and we had no idea what her health insurance situation was. I WAS WILLING TO PAY CASH ON THE SPOT FOR THE VISIT. They insisted, so I gave in. 3 MONTHS LATER we receive the bill for her covid test, that I am now being billed more for than if I just paid cash that day like I wanted to. I called the billing department and actually got through. They explained it wasn't covered because she was from out of state and had insurance in that state. After discussing the issue, Karen said she would have to look into a few things and call me back. Can ya'll guess who never called me back? That's right, Karen. I have tried on 3 separate occasions to reach them to pay the bill and cant get through. The paper statement has since disappeared and I am trying to pay the bill online, but I dont have the statement number. Can't get ahold of the billing department so I call the clinic and explain the situation. Then they tell me they cant give me the info unless I'm on her account. I explain that I am. I recently moved to Georgetown from California with my family and needed to see a Doctor for a bad Fibromaygia flare-up. We had not as of yet established health care. I was in so much pain and was so afraid seeing a doctor at an Urgent Care would not understand. I was so wrong. I phoned to make an appointment as suggested from the information on the Internet and was seen within 1 1/2hrs. I got to fill out all the paperwork at home and wait at home until they called me. When I got there the receptionist was the nicest lady that helped me out and I signed our family up for their family value care plan until we get insurance. When I met the nurse she was very warm and friendly. By the time my appointment was finished I was so grate full I had her as a nurse, because she cared so much and really helped me feel better as well as get some information I needed. Dr.DelaTorre (spelling?) was such a down to earth and ready to listen kind of Doctor. She gave me the names of a couple of pain management Doctors and she helped me with my Fibromaygia pain that day. The Doctor and all the supporting staff deserve recognition for their kindness and professionalism. The clinic itself is clean and very comfortable. read more

Ended up in the clinic with a busted shin that required 9 stitches. The team at NextCare got me fixed right up! There was no wait time - just the amount of time to fill out paperwork and pay (highly recommend the Advantage Plan by the way - saved me $700-$1,000). The staff was so kind and lovely (Angie and Criselda) and the nurse (Charles) made me laugh! Dorian Shevitz was the PAC on duty and was so chill about my whole situation. He took care of me very quickly and was great at explaining every step of what he was doing since it was my first time every receiving stitches. Highly recommend this clinic! I had a perianal abscess that was treated this morning by Dr. Armstrong. The wait time was about an hour but they had a couch in the waiting room that was the only place I'd been able to lay down in order to not press on the abscess and cause myself a lot of pain. Today I had no idea that I would be going through the most painful operation of my life, despite the doctor giving me a double dose of local anesthetic. I asked him how much the pain would be on a scale of 1 to 10 and he told me honestly that it would be 10. I appreciated this because I had the chance to think of the worst pain I'd ever experienced before then to try and prepare. It's much better to me to have a doctor that is up front and honest about these things rather than lying and saying it'l only hurt a bit and then surprising me with blinding pain. The operation was performed rather quickly, relieved me of almost all the pain I had before the abscess and I doubt I could've asked for a better doctor to perform the operation and get it over with. After the operation ended, I had an adverse reaction either from adrenaline from the event, bacteria from the abscess getting into my bloodstream, which caused me to shake fairly violently for almost half an hour, as if I had been dunked in ice water. My face was white and my fingernails purple and rather than dismissing it as just me being cold and letting me lay there with a blanket, the nurses and doctor actively monitored me to make sure I was alright before they would let me leave. The nurses were especially kind and I did not feel embarrassed at all with them, despite being brought to tears in front of them. Again, my visit was both insanely painful but also a relief and I'm glad I chose this NextCare location over going to the ER or a regular physician. read more

Angie was very kind and got my baby checked in. (They see babies 4m+) Edgar got all of the vitals and information together quickly and was nice and friendly. Dr Armstrong came in less than 3 mins after we got roomed! We were there for under an hour. Nice feature of being able to check in online if needed. I was there with my mom because she was having a little bit of a hard time breathing and her Dr told us to go here. We were greeted by a very nice receptionist and handled by a nice nurses assistant but when the nurse practitioner came in it was a whole different story. The lady told us that we were wasting her time and she couldn't give my mom any pain pills. She refused to even touch my mom and seemed very annoyed of our presence there. I called to complain and have yet to hear anything back from anyone. DON'T GO HERE. read more
