I was a bit nervous upon reading the reviews but the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The front desk employees were very nice and got me in quickly (I made an appointment and filed the paperwork online). They were actively sanitizing the waiting room when I entered the clinic, which is great. The medical staff was also very nice, and tested me for covid, strep, and flu, and sent me home with what I needed. This is urgent care, and not a primary care office, and with that in mind, they did a fantastic job. read more

I booked an appointment here for a immunization shot for my son after work. When I got here, the woman at the front desk told me that they don't do immunizations (which is different than the website) and I was ASKED the reason I was coming in online. She could see the reason I was coming, but didn't bother to look until I showed up. What kind of service is that? She couldn't even pronounce meningitis and She told me they had the tDap but they only gave it to people who cut themselves. Umm what? I got a covid test on June 25th, I was told it would be 7-10 days and they would call me. I didn't hear anything in 10 days so I called, waited on hold for almost 25 min, when I did finally get to speak to someone they told me my results weren't in yet and it could take up to 14 days. Called once more and waited on hold for so long I finally hung up. I called this evening, 45 days AFTER my test, and was told my test came back negative, and that my test results were received on July 11. No one ever called me from Nextcare, I couldn't get another test anywhere else because my insurance wouldn't cover the cost. My husband came in with a very bad ear infection, they took for ever to call him in because there was only one doctor for like 10 patient. They finally called him in and did a mouth swab didn't gave him nothing for pain or ask if he needed something. He had a discharge on his ear and couldn't handle the pain no more, but they didn't care at all. they Asked us to step outside again and this is my 3 hour sitting down they haven't called or checked on Us at all. I think this is crazy timing. I did not like the service at all. I would never recommend this specific location to anyone. Doctor didn't pay any kind of attention to anything that we were saying and now I understand why they have signs all over about not accepting any bad behavior because it is very hard to stay calm and not say anything after such a bad experience read more

After waiting hours to receive medical attention for an illness that I was suffering and even being finally placed in a room to receive a doctor evaluation I was informed that I was not going to be seen by a doctor or receive any medical attention. I asked why and I was told that because they didn't have to and that they didn't need a reason or to explain it to me. I was demanded to leave at once or they were calling the police to have me arrested for trespassing. The only thing that I could think of was that in a past visit I had a dispute with a doctor who really was not a doctor but an assistant and she didn't want to listen to me nor give me an appropriate examination according to my chief complaint and thus refused to assist in my case while still getting paid. She had assumed that I was homeless because I had my little cart and therefore profiled me into a category that deemed me nothing. As a retired medical professional I never refused any patient delivery of medical assistance and I always treated everyone with dignity and respect, no matter what. read more

Was seen by the nurse practitioner (Chrissy or some name like that?) who refused to hear the reasons for which I was at this urgent care; after waiting for 2 hours in line, she told me my symptoms were not urgent and told me to exit the building. Her tone was demeaning and she was speaking to me as if I was a child. She continuously cut me off as I was speaking and describing my symptoms. Extremely unprofessional, extremely rude, and very embarrassing. I feel embarrassed for this location, and I hope they do a better job at screening their employees. The medical field is not the right industry for someone with a short temper and unwillingness to listen. EDIT: I recently found out that what the NP did is actually illegal in Arizona after consulting with an attorney. I will be taking appropriate action. Went to Nextcare on 32nd & Greenway. made appointment online for 4:45pm notating need wrist x-Ray. waited approx 1 hour only to find out that the x-ray tech had left 1hour ago! why didn't they post this information or notate that X-ray tech not available after certain hour? I specifically choose to go to this location since their website says, they cover X-Ray. dont appreciate wasting my time especially when I'm in such a pain. never will go to this location again. if you do, make sure you call b4 (if you can get someone to answer the phone) to ensure they provide the service. read more

This place is a scam! When we arrived my daughter said she had a UTI that she had diagnosed with a home test. She was in severe pain. The front office gal told us they could help. My daughter was seen by a PA and basically confirmed the UTI but said they couldn't give her any pain meds or antibiotics and she would have to go to the ER. So we had to pay a $50 copay just to be told they couldn't help. The front office person should have told us this upfront. What a waste of time and money! read more

Scheduled an appointment online, went here. It was a bit of a wait, but nothing too outrageous. Friendly staff, for the most part the staff actually likes eachother, which was nice. The names escape me, but the Male Nurse was chill, and the Female PA diagnosed me within a few seconds. What she said explained all my symptoms, and she prescribed me everything I'd need. The wait was the only downside. No one else was there, so it was a bit confusing to arrive early and end up waiting 45 minutes--but honestly, all in all, it's a good place. read more

The staff is rude and doesn't care to help you or to accommodate, you're at their mercy. Staff told me I'd be able to view my wait time via their app, but the app considered my appointment "missed" because they did not check me in on time, and I was forced to wait the time. I should also mention I was here for COVID TESTING and insisted I wait in my car in case I was positive, as the lobby was full of people. The staff again would not allow me to leave. Worst customer service ever. Came to this urgent care on a Tuesday morning for covid testing. Online says they are excepting Walk-ins as well as appt. Called number on there door to check in, operator on the other line got all my info then put me on hold for 30mins in my car, in the mean time I made an appt. online for the next day instead. Showed up Wednesday 10 mins for my appt call the number on the door and they are rude and tell me I have 17 walk-ins in front of me. He wasn't friendly and was so impatient. I had my insurance card and ID ready, so he had no reason to be so rude. He didn't attempt to communicate. In fact, he seemed annoyed that we were even there. Had a cut on my thumb (actually I cut the end of my thumb off) so I came here. There was one other person in line. Brandy was very professional at the reception desk. After filling the necessary paperwork and paying the copay, I was seen within five minutes. Rox took my vitals, did the pre-screen and generally put me at ease. About five minutes later, the NP, Rebecca, came in and looked at my home bandage job. It had stuck to my wound so she did a good job of getting it removed without undue pain, took a look, explained what I had done right/wrong, cleaned it up, gave me advice, prescriptions, new dressing, extra dressings and sent me on my way. I would recommend this location anytime to anyone wanting efficient, clean and friendly help. read more

I don't know if it's a staffing issue but this location always seems to take forever to process patients. The staff once you get taken inside one of the rooms are always pleasant to deal with, but the wait beforehand is excruciatingly long. We were a walk-in and with 10 patients in front of us, it took 3 hours before we were seen. When we go to other locations, the wait for a similar line is 50-70% faster. This location is open later than others which is why they're typically busier, but perhaps they need to staff more ? read more

Not quite sure what the point is in making an "appointment" online. I was at NextCare 15 minutes in advance of my assigned time. An hour later, I've paid a $75 deductible to have my blood pressure taken 3 times because they can't seem to figure out how to take it properly. No sign of the PA yet. I thought this would be an in and out diagnosis. I know I'm sick, just give me an antibiotic and let me go home! Update- so they finally saw me, told me I had a viral infection and to get some Flonase. Four days later, I was feeling even worse and now my husband was sick too. I took him to a different Urgent Care (because why would I go back to this place) and he tested positive for the flu. I had been sick for a week so they couldn't give me Tamaflu, but they did double up on his other scripts so I could take some too- super nice since I wasn't the patient! I made it another 2 days before I wound up in the hospital with pneumonia. $500 copay and hospitalized overnight all because NextCare Urgent Care misdiagnosed me. I missed two weeks of work too. Don't waste your time or money with these idiots. You'd have better luck letting the homeless people in the parking lot diagnose you! read more

2/4 If I could give this place no stars, I would. In the past two days I have had two separate issues with this location. Yesterday my boyfriend was having chest pain and was given an EKG which he was told came back "abnormal" and that he needed to go to the emergency heart hospital across the street, and was asked if he needed an ambulance. When we got to the hospital, they asked if he had a print out of his "abnormal EKG" - They had not given him one. The hospital told us that they usually send the results so they can compare them and see whats going on. They asked where he went for the EKG, and was told by the heart hospital that this location "always scares people." After $455 worth of tests at the hospital, nothing was found. Today, I went in to get a strep test. I had tested positive for strep throat and covid on Christmas, but still have swollen lymph nodes, irritated ears, headaches, and a red and scratchy throat. I get strep every year, sometimes more than once, so I wanted to see what's going on. I was met with a Nurse Practitioner who was immediately extremely rude to me. She asked what was going on and I explained. She replied "Did you even test positive for strep?" I let her know I did test positive for both covid AND strep and was still in some pain (my chart has my positive strep result.) She told me that she "won't be surprised when my strep comes back negative and that I most likely am still in pain from covid." She talked in circles explaining to me over & over that covid can linger and we don't know the long term side effects, to take ibuprofen, and go see a primary care doctor if it continues. I asked how long I should wait? I waited a whole month before coming in again? She checked my ears & saw fluid in them which she said could explain the pressure, and said she would go check the results of my strep. They came back negative which is fine, but not surprisingly she told me in an "I told you so" way and was yet again rude to me + never gave me any other suggestions besides that it was covid. I have never been talked down to like that when seeking medical advice and will absolutely not go here again. I eventually just looked at her like "Are you almost done?" and shook my head hoping she would stop talking about covid. She told me to go wait in the lobby and she would get my paperwork to me, nothing else. So I go sit in the waiting room for over 10 minutes & she never comes out, so I tell the receptionist I am leaving and they have my information if they need it. read more

I was visiting family in Phoenix for the week, I slipped and fell down the stairs my first day there. I called Nextcare to check their hours, I was then given an appointment for later that day, which I loved. That means no waiting once I get there, hopefully. I arrive early for my appointment to fill out the paperwork, and to my surprise no waiting! I get to the room and the NP comes in for my examination. I explained to her what happened, and that I have osteoporosis. The NP never once asked to look at my injuries, did not even physically touch me at all. Said we would get an x-ray. NP leaves and a few minutes later the X-ray tech comes to take me for my x-ray. He did not walk with me to the X-ray room, he said go around the desk make a right and room is in the left. I get in the room and he gives me a pair of paper shorts to put on and leaves the room. He came back about 10 minutes later, and said, "I need you to get on the table". I told him I didn't think I could get up there without help. He walks off, didn't even bring a step stool over for me to use. The X-ray tech had the personality of a rock, I tried to make conversation with him but no luck. We finish the xrays and he sends me back to my room. The NP comes in a few minutes later states she didn't see anything on the X-ray but the radiologist had not read them yet. She states I could leave, still never examined me, but said she didn't think anything was broke. I get a call at 11pm that evening, it's the NP, she states the radiologist report shows a compression fracture, and I needed to see Ortho ASAP, and she is very sorry she missed the fracture. I go in the next morning to pick up the X-ray report, and asked the front desk if they would check with the provider if I could have medication for my flight home, as the NP I had seen the night before said she would give me something. I was advised if I wanted an RX, I would have to be seen again. Seriously!!! I work in a hospital, we have UC in our clinic. This is not how we treat our patients. I will definitely fight the charges for this bill. Poor service from the front desk all the way to the provider! This facility really lacks customer service skills, and needs some retraining. read more

We waited in the lobby for 2 hours to be seen (it wasn't busy) and most of the staff had a bad attitude and gave off the impression that none of them wanted to be there or deal with clients. We both shared that this was the worst we felt in a long time so they tested us for Covid and Strep. When the strep result came out negative they started gaslighting my boyfriend and I saying "we aren't sick and it was allergies." My boyfriend and I both explained it wasn't allergies but they wouldn't change their mind and sent us home with cold medicine. My boyfriend and I went to another clinic and they diagnosed us with the flu! This nextcare was just trying their hardest to get us out of their office as quick as they could by telling us we weren't sick. Only go here if it's your last option ! read more
