What I really love about this place is that it offers slices for a casual meal. You don't have to order a whole pie and can choose among various specialty slices! My party and I ordered a margherita slice and veggie delight slice, and they were both delicious. The crust is very crispy and almost cracker-like. Both slices were very light and not heavy at all. The owner is also very down-to-earth and a family man. His prices are very affordable for the average person, and he even gave us a few slices on-the-house! When a business loses a repeat customer over a $1 ranch cup. I visited Nexus Pizza in Orlando on New Year's Day with my family and spent around $70 on food, including an order of wings. When I asked for ranch dressing, I was shocked to be told that ranch does not come with the wings at all--not even one cup--and that it costs $1 per ranch, even with a 20-wing order. I asked to speak with the manager, and unfortunately that made the experience worse. The manager came out with a bad attitude and said ranch isn't "gifted" to them, so customers have to pay. When I explained that nearly every restaurant that sells wings includes at least one ranch or blue cheese, he argued with me and then spoke to us in a dismissive and defiant manner, even telling us that we were not obligated to eat there. Because of the manager's attitude and the lack of basic customer service, we canceled our order and left without eating. A manager should de-escalate situations, not argue with customers or make them feel unwelcome. This completely ruined what should have been a simple family meal. I would not recommend Nexus Pizza based on this experience. read more

Decor is pleasant and isn't designed to encourage people to grab their food and GTFO. It's a bad fast food trend to help with turnover. Turnover doesn't seem to be a problem these days for any restaurant. Getting people in seats is a good thing. This place is a nice departure from delivery only pizza shops. People are allowed to enjoy their food and have a conversation. This seems to be a place for group office lunches. We need more public places where people to meet and gather. This was a night out with my wife and family friends. And we are all pizza lovers from New York residing in the Orlando area. This was our 1st time going into this establishment. We have seen many great reviews about this location and yes, they are not wrong. A lot of space for many customers to sit. If you are a garlic fan, this is a must for you. Sauce was delicious to go with it. Mozzarella sticks. Very unique shape. Very delicious bite. They definitely cut fresh mozzarella and taste wise was really good. Must have cheese pizza to know if they know their pizza. And yes they do. Cheese pizza was delicious. No flop on the pizza, nice crunch to it, sauce and cheese ratio was perfect. Everyone in the party enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the pepperoni roll. This was the least favorite. They slightly overcooked it which the dough was on the dark side of things. Not mad about it because on the inside it was good. Just the dough was slightly burnt. It could be that in that moment, it got really busy and they may have overlooked. An addition, time of cooking the food. They did take long on making some of the things. For some, this maybe a downfall for others, or it doesn't matter if the food is worth the wait. However, in my opinion it was worth it. This was a great experience.
