King's Pizza is the worst. Tried it for the first and last time. Went in to order 2 pizzas and a large salad. Got a large pepperoni and then a large meat lovers. I asked the guy if he can make them a little well done, dough a little more crispy, sure no problem he says. Rings me up total is 50.96. Though a little pricey but oh well who cares we are hungry. After almost 25 minutes the pizza is ready. I asked if they had a packets of cheese, another guy proceeded to say yeah for .25 cents I can sell you one. I was taken aback by that, he says yeah the menu for cheese and such is right here, a quarter for every packet of cheese you want and also red pepper, mind you I just spent almost 51 bucks there and that is not including the 5 dollar tip. I said no thank you. Pizza smells so good, can't wait to get home to try it. Well folks smells can be deceiving, the pizza was almost raw the dough was not crispy at all, it also had a sweet taste to it. Which in true NY style pizza it doesn't. I had 2 slices one from each pie, as well as did my brother and boyfriend. We had to throw it away it was so gross. I come from a pizza making family from up north. This was NOT NY STYLE. We ordered a 10" Bianca (white) Pizza and a Chicken Caesar Salad, which we changed to a regular Caesar Salad due to the lack of chicken in the restaurant. The pizza's crust was decently flavorful and thin. The Blue Cheese was tasteful throughout. The 4 dollops of Ricotta were delicious. I *did* use my finger to spread my dollop over the rest of my slice. The Caesar Salad came with pouch-dressing. Which was nice to be able to choose how much dressing was applied. Unfortunately, I prefer a pre-mixed Caesar Salad to ensure homogeneous application. Overall, we were not hungry after leaving. The pizza here is amazing. Really good and we look forward to it every time we come to Orlando. But it seems the service always has some kind of issue. My girlfriend had ordered the pepperoni pizza while we were still in Disney Springs, which should allow more than enough time for them to make it. We even got a notification telling us that our pizza was ready to pick up. Upon entering the establishment, the lady who helped us recognized my girlfriend's name from the order queue, but the pizza wasn't even started. We were told we had to wait 20 minutes for them to make the pizza and were given "less than stellar" garlic knots to make up for the inconvenience. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and two meat lovers slices using eat24. The food arrived around the estimated delivery time but it was visually repulsive. The toppings on the meat lovers appeared to not have been cooked and were not even attached to the pizza. The buffalo chicken looked nothing like the photos seen online from their business. Bottom line is it looked like a 5 year old from kitchen nightmare jr created the pizza in an easy bake oven which could only heat up 3 inches of the pizza at a time. I called the store and they agreed to authorize a refund once the pizza was collected as we did not touch it and were busy wishing for a culinary exoticism to be performed on the "pizza" sitting on our counter. Eat24 reached out to me and stated the driver would be back in 30 min to get the pizza and then the refund would be issued. Its giving New York a bum wrap don't fall for it! The reason I went there was I try to give my local shops a try, but Never again. I work near by in a very large hotel and guest ask all the time where can I go eat? Trust me this place is not on my list of places to recommend.
