It took longer than I expected but it was not their fault. They gave me updates and even a discount for my waiting, I was surprised by that gesture and really appreciated it. Everyone was courteous and very nice to work with. The shop was especially clean. The guy ended up saying my total would be 124 or something in that area . But then he gives me 15 off, still having to paying over 100 when the coupon clearly said 80.99. Next, the tech tells me not to ever go to valvoline again because they are known to mess your car up, okay I guess. 20 minutes after leaving the shop I had to go back as my check engine light comes on. I drive back to the shop, they look at it, messes with the air filter and tells me it shouldn't come back on. I then go to work, as I work evenings/nights. On my way home which was about 11pm, my check engine light comes back on. Very frustrating I must say. So now I have to cancel things I had going on the following morning to go back and get it looked at. I'm Assuming the manager was able to actually go in and check what the issue was and got me together. I can't remember his name maybe Carl or Corey. I do remember Toryn he helped out a lot as well so shouts out to toryn. But the guy who messed my car up should maybe go back through orientation and some training before he messes someone else's car up.

This dealership Rd me I would be looking at approximately $2,000 for a used transmission with no warranty or &3,500 for a new one with a warranty. I decided to give this local business a try. I was very pleased to find out a transmission was NOT needed. Instead I found out that mice had made a nest under my hood and in the process had eaten through a number of the sensory wires causing the transmissions issues.
