I'm sharing this because I really don't want anyone else to go through what I did. I brought my car in for a specific issue, and instead of actually checking the problem, they pushed a $200 "inspection" that had nothing to do with why I was there. They marked a bunch of things in red to make it seem urgent, but completely ignored the real reason I came in. It honestly felt like they weren't even trying to diagnose anything. The mechanics didn't look into the issue -- they just suggested replacing parts and quoted prices that were as high as (or higher than) the dealership. The whole point of coming here was to avoid those kinds of charges, but I ended up paying more anyway. And the worst part? I paid, and the issue still wasn't fixed. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly a bit scammed. If something doesn't feel right when you're there, trust your gut and take your car somewhere else. read more

Do not go here. Oxford is growing and clearly trying to make up the expenses for their new locations. We brought our F150 here for some issues and they suggested starting by changing some camshaft sensors to see if it would fix it. It did not. Oxford held our car from Friday through the following Tuesday with our expectation that the truck would be fixed and ready to go by then before our vacation. They did no work during this time while they waited for the sensors. They called Tuesday and said the sensors didn't fix the issues, but that we "agreed" to pay for this knowing that it might not fix that. Long story short, our $4k quote for work went from $4k to $12k. They charged us $1092 for two sensors that we didn't end up even needing, an inspection, and 2.5 hours worth of work to install the sensors and the best part is.... absolutely NOTHING was fixed on the vehicle. We paid $1092 for no resolution whatsoever. Oxford lost a customer and lost my faith that they know what they're doing. They wasted our time and our money. read more

Not a good value - Avoid! Had my Ford Fusion serviced Friday 6/7/2024. While the repair was done quickly the cost was very high. Car needed new spark plugs and ignition coils - essentially a tune-up. I authorized the work but wasn't made aware of the cost over the phone. $1000 for that service and they drained/replaced my brake fluid for $170 (really???). Parts for these repairs probably cost $100 and the total repair was done in 2 hours. No way I should have paid $1400. read more

Went there 2 times. Both times are very good experience. 1st time, I wait there for oil change. 3 customers came in to pick up their cars. And all of them are happy and said you guys always do a best job. 2nd time, I have nail into my tire and have air pressure light on every other days. I called them,and they let me in the next days right before they close. They removed the nail ,and patch the tire for me. Very happy about their service. read more

When you find a repair shop with honest, trustworthy people it's worth the drive. I took my car here to get my transmission oil changed and was blown back by the cleanliness of the shop and the knowledge/expertise of the staff. They will do a free inspection to let you know other things that may be going wrong with your car, without pushing repairs on you that are not needed. Rental cars are also available for you while you wait. Christian was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the process and I would recommend him, this shop, and their staff to anyone! read more

I took my Honda Fit to Oxford Automotive because I heard the rear brakes grind. Oxford did a thorough check and found several things I could have repaired but did not mention the rear brakes. I selected the serpentine belt and the front brakes which they did. They test drove it and realized the rear brakes needed changed as well. They called me and apologized for miscommunicating what was wrong with the car. They offered to repair the rear brakes at no charge since they had made the mistake. I picked the car up the next day. I would never take any vehicle to Oxford Auto. They do not stand behind the work they do, nor honor warranties for the parts either - which goes against their claim of providing customers with 2 years warranty on any work provided. Shoddy work and lies. read more

I'm not sure that there is enough room here to tell how great they are at this shop. I live in Cleveland and was traveling to Columbus when the fuel pump went out in my Tahoe. Stranded on the side of 71s I googled repair shops in the area. Thankfully Oxford was the very first to pop up. I called In and began to speak with Christian who immediately pointed me in the right direction for a tow. After arriving at the shop with the towed car I began to speak to Christian a little more about my situation and how I would not be able to be contacted directly being as I was going into the hospital. He sensed the worry in my voice being thanksgiving was only days away and that it wasn't a problem for me to just check in with him when I was able to. I called in to speak with him and not only did they pin point the problem that needed fixed but went over the vehicle letting me know of what may need work in the near future. Thought everything was set to be repaired and when I got out of the hospital I'd be smooth sailing on the way home just in time to eat some turkey. Well as luck would have it and the vehicle being a NE Ohio car the fuel tank needed replacement as well because it was rotted where the pump bolted to. This was something that couldn't be relayed by phone because there was no way to reach me. Absolutely no fault of theirs and I never thought to call them back. Since my Uber left that brought me to the shop from Columbus and now Wednesday afternoon the day before thanksgiving Christian immediately helped me get set up in a rental to make it home to family. He called me first thing Monday morning to let me know my vehicle was ready to be picked up the following morning. 5 stars isn't enough for the customer service and workmanship of this shop. read more

Have been using Oxford for quite a while. Their location is not the most convenient for me but it's worth the extra drive to leave my vehicle with someone capable and honest. They also have low cost rental cars for customers so I'm never without a ride. read more
