It wasn't perfect. But I gave them an extra star for the effort. First off I like how they have wonton crunchies on the table ready for you to eat when you sit down. They're spiced and delicious. I thought they'd be stale since every table literally had a bowl. But they weren't. I also loved how they brought out a bowl of hot and sour soup while looking at the menu. Really nice touch. They were out of a number of items. I saw they had green takeaway bags like Mi Mi's does but when we asked for a to go box they only brought out ordinary plastic bags. A bit disappointed there. But it's fine. The Dan Dan noodles is C3 (Spicy Noodles with Sesame Sauce Contain Peanuts /S CP). It looked so colorful online that I questioned whether it would taste any good. But it actually was quite tasty. It's served on a plate and not a bowl. The Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken D7 was pretty good as was the Crab Rangoon. $8 for 6 pieces was cheaper than MiMi and actually I like the taste better. The wonton was crunchier and not as thick as MiMi's. We also got the C2 Huainan beef noodle soup. Primarily because it was one of the few soups not labeled as spicy. It wasn't bad. We wanted to take it home and the waitress just gave us one of those takeout purse boxes. Pretty sure it would've soaked right through. So I asked and they actually do have plastic soup containers too. I really love the decor as well. It just looks like a hodgepodge of knick knacks collected including a British telephone booth of all things. My favorite are the many sakura trees.

This is my second time enjoying a meal from Ni Hao. Today I stopped in for a lunch special, to go. There are many options. Susan, was very friendly when I walked in the door. She provided some great suggestions to try. I was pleasantly surprised with my to go order of sesame chicken. It came with hot and sour soup, an egg roll, a fried chicken wing, broccoli, fried rice, a generous portion of chicken, and an iced tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. I was surprised that more people were not in for lunch. I have had other Chinese food in The Woodlands, but none as good as this restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive, the restaurant is bright, beautifully decorated, and clean, and the food is great.

What a great find! We just had an enjoyable meal here. Driving up and down Gosling I might not have noticed it except there is a sign on the street and I came across it again on Yelp. The first nice surprise was the fact that they actually season the fried wonton strips, meaning you already have flavor when you go to dip it into the sweet chili sauce. Next we decided to try the shrimp tempura and that was cooked just perfectly, Mr. Picky loved it! I tried the lunch noodle combo plate because I was in the mood for lo mein. I ordered the mixed version and I have to say it was just a perfect balance of noodle, proteins and vegetables, absolutely perfect, not too much of anything. The hot and sour soup was included, I liked its earthy flavor. We like trying new things and so ordered the Brown Sugar Sticky Rice Cake with extra of the burnt sugar sauce, and we both liked the flavor and chew. Qi-Qi was our waitress and she bent over backwards to help us make selections and stay on top of servicing the table and asking what she could do. She was really great. The restaurant itself is a really cute kitch environment with pandas and cherry trees and more. Very fun. We will definitely be back next time we are in the mood for Chinese. I'll have to bring more people with me in order to try the Hot Pot meal :-). When you combine the food and atmosphere and service, I'd rate it a "4.5" and so I'm rounding it up to a "5".

I've been to this place twice now. The interior needs a good clean and has a funny smell. The staff can be rood or really nice, depending on the day you go. The food is ok but nothing exceptional. The only thing I would go back for is the crispy beef rolls.

What a great place to have lunch at! Other than the food being really delicious and high quality, the service is also outstanding. The waitress was so incredibly kind and generous and truly made our meal experience so comfortable. The restaurant itself is really pretty inside: well lit, decorated with adorable pandas, and clean. And to top it all off, during lunch, the restaurant offers such great deals on food (2 adults got fully stuffed for $30). Definitely worth the drive - I will be back very soon!

This place is super cute! Love that we don't have to drive to china town for authentic Chinese food.

Back in the country and so the Noodle/dumpling tour continues. Excited to find this place not far from home and after eating there, I am ecstatic! This is noodles and dumplings done right. Tucked into a small non-descript strip mall, the hunt is worthwhile. Service is impeccable with a happy, jolly waitstaff checking in regularly. The decor is bright and eclectic, I mean Easter bunnies and butterflies? It's an intriguing landscape for the food. And the food...the beef noodles were so packed with flavor, I could have ignored the beef. Glad I didn't as it too was flavorful and tender. Dive into the appetizers as they are authentic, homemade and decidedly delicious. This goes to the top of my noodle house list.

Oh my goodness! When you know, you know! The lunchtime downpour of rain bought me into this new Chinese restaurant and so glad I checked it out. Immediately was greeted by Yvonne and she treated me like her very own family coming to visit. The iced tea came pouring (unlimitedly) and she recommended a dish that was super yummy and huge in portion. I also took home some noodles to hubby as he loves chow mein and he loves it! You must try this place - you will keep wanting to try everything on the menu!

A Hidden Gem Worth Celebrating Ni Hao Chinese Cuisine If I had a Chinese grandmother, I imagine this is exactly what her home-cooked meals would taste like; lcomforting, deeply flavorful, and made with so much care. Although I'm Mexican and grew up with different flavors, the food at No Hao stirred that same feeling of nostalgia and love that only a home-cooked meal can bring. This was our first time visiting Ni Hao, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. It's a beautifully kept mom-and-pop restaurant--spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Everything is so well organized, and the environment immediately puts you at ease. You don't feel rushed or like "just another customer." You feel welcomed, like family. We started with the Sweet-and-Sour Chicken, and wow! this dish set the tone. The chicken was so tender it practically melted in our mouths. Unlike most places that drown it in an overly sugary sauce, Ni Hao's sweet-and-sour was perfectly balanced, highlighting the crispy texture and natural flavor of the chicken without overpowering it. Next up was the Beef and Broccoli, and let me just say, it was divine. The beef flanks were buttery-soft, no knife needed, and the broccoli? A dream. Steamed just right, with a vibrant green hue that signaled freshness, and it had a wonderful al dente bite. Each forkful was a reminder that simple ingredients, when cooked with skill and love, can be absolutely unforgettable. Then came the Wonton Pork Soup, which we now consider a must-have. Every spoonful offered a depth of flavor that spoke of time, care, and tradition. The broth was light yet rich, not oily, and carried the essence of pork, green onion, bok choy, and other aromatics in perfect harmony. The wontons themselves were perfectly portioned, you didn't need to cut them to take a bite. The pork filling was flavorful and comforting. On a cold day, this soup would be the ultimate comfort, picture sitting by a fireplace with a good book and this bowl of warmth in hand. Yes, it's that kind of soup. As if that wasn't enough, the kind staff surprised us with a complimentary Hot and Spicy Soup. I had never tried anything like it before, it had tofu, assorted vegetables, and an unexpectedly gentle spice that wasn't overpowering. The flavors were subtle and soul-soothing. Again, perfect for a rainy day or anytime you're craving something warm and nourishing. We also ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was another showstopper. Not only was it delicious, but the plating was stunning, with a beautiful caviar garnish on top that elevated the dish both in taste and appearance. Every bite was well-balanced, not greasy, and full of fresh shrimp and delicate seasoning. You could see and taste the quality of the ingredients. We shared all our dishes family-style, and for three of us, the portions were incredibly generous, we had plenty to take home and enjoy again later. Even the steamed rice was worth mentioning, my daughter, who's quite the rice connoisseur, loved it. Perfect texture, perfect flavor, no need for anything extra. I genuinely can't find a single negative thing to say. Not even of the price, I was shocked when we only received a bill of $60 for the three of us. Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Even if your eyes could taste the food, you'd already be impressed before the first bite. Check out the photos we've shared, you'll see exactly what I mean! To the team at Ni Hao: thank you. Thank you for putting your heart into every dish, for creating such a warm and welcoming space, and for giving us an experience we'll never forget. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. To anyone who hasn't tried Ni Hao yet. What are you waiting for? This is more than just a meal; it's a culinary hug, and you will not be disappointed. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, you're in for something truly special.

First time visiting Ni Hao was such a pleasant surprise! Lunch specials include iced tea, soup, spring roll, fried chicken wing and a sesame roll. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Hands down, the best Chinese spot in the area. Cant wait to go back.

The new chinese resto Ni Hao right next to Bazaar Istanbul on Gosling next to the Woodlands Sports Complex is finally open. It's a little different from the usual chinese take out experience. I enjoyed the mongolian beef and crispy beef rolls the best. They have handpulled noodles that they make in house which were pretty good. Their service was great too. Yvonne our server was so sweet. We also enjoyed the wonton chips they serve while waiting for your food. We stopped over at the bazaar istanbul next door and grabbed some ice cream for dessert! Will definitely come back soon!

Not only is this place adorable (IG worthy) so is the food presentation. The food is delicious and authentic. The service is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The young lady was so sweet and you can tell they are appreciative of their customers patronage. I received a surprise gift at the end of my meal. I am not rating them five stars based on that, rather the fresh, tasty food quality, the top notch service, and all-around presentation and attention to detail. Just try them out. You will not be disappointed!

The service was top notch Kevin our waiter was perfect, he explained exactly what us first timers needed to know (we opted for the BBQ vs Hot Pot) and gave excellent amount of service without interrupting too often, but without ignoring. And now my favorite part the food.... We ordered the following for our meat selections: Prime Beef Brisket, Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Garlic Chicken, Pork Belly, Cumin Lamb and Garlic Shrimp. For veggies: Shiitake mushrooms, Mung Bean Sprouts, Onions, Bamboo Shoots, Eggplant, Zucchini and we topped it off with a pineapple drink. My friend said the veal and the pork belly were both delicious, I don't eat either so my review is based on everything else. OMG the flavors were so packed into the meats they needed nothing else. The spicy beef bulgogi was by far my absolute favorite (I polished off two full servings myself) the spice profile was so perfect that it enhanced the beef without masking the natural flavor and the use a good quality beef as well so any toughness is due to your own over cooking which still didn't happen. The shrimp and chicken came in tied for second place for flavor bomb, I'm pretty sure they marinate this stuff for days for it to taste so full of flavor! There is also a fully stocked "Sauce Bar" with so many different kinds of sauces and additions. The inside is very large, but not loud and they have a full bar for those who wish to sit there. If you haven't tried them yet GO! You and your stomach will thank me.

I ordered the hot stone mixed rice and it was yummy. I did notice it wasn't as spicy as I am used to so I asked for more of the hot pepper paste. The paste itself is what wasn't super hot but it was still good. Food was also served quickly so I appreciate that. I also ordered a dish to go. The black bean noodles were slightly less flavorful than what we are used to but they were still good. The main drawback though is they did not give any side dishes for the to go item which is interesting. You don't pay less for it and I'm not sure why it wasn't included. I've never had Korean takeout where they did not include any side dishes on a to go order. All in all, the first visit was more a 3.5 but out of good faith, we will call it a 4 star. They did seem to cater to many regulars so it's possible the dishes are toned down for locals? Not sure though. Again, food was good but as someone who is part Korean, the dishes were not as flavorful as I am used to. I would likely eat here again but not sure this would really satisfy the craving for Korean dishes specifically.

And that's probably the main advantage of selecting this option. We came in with only an hour to spare, with last call being at 2:30 pm (despite the buffet running to 3 pm). But within 45 min we were done. The dishes came out reasonably quick. It's a 2 hour limit if you come earlier and can manage that much food. There's no sashimi. And the slices of sashimi on top of the rice that compose the nigiri are pretty thin. The hand rolls came out soggy which means they were sitting for a while. And they got a ton of rice inside each one. Lots of sauce too especially in the eel cucumber hand roll which I didn't care for as a result. The dragon roll and Conroe roll were both ok. Nothing special in terms of specialty rolls. Shrimp wontons look like crab Rangoon and the crab Rangoon looks like jalapeño poppers. I asked the waitress about this and she said they get that comment a lot. Hmmm. Just beware. Also the skin on them as well as the fried calamari tasted tough which I think usually is attributable to old oil. Not a big fan of the beef tataki or peppercorn tuna appetizers. They had a little kick to them but the flavor was off and the tataki was kind of tough. We were told the Yellowtail jalapeño appetizer is the same as the peppercorn tuna just different fish. So we passed. The mango salmon appetizer is salmon wrapped around a mango slice. Sounds ok but because they drench it in some sauce, it tasted kinda ick. Our order of coconut shrimp never came but we weren't disappointed as nothing through the meal wowed us and it was an afterthought order to fill us up before leaving. Tempura Fried Oreo is your chance to get a Fried Oreo if you've never had one. They come in a set of 3 but you can ask for just 1 if you're full or not a big desert person. Staff was friendly.
