Never quite sure why Niagara County Produce rates so many stars. Reviewing for plants/ garden items. Yes, you may find some variety and selection here. However, that is often countered by the fact that the selection will not be neatly arranged, but might be mixed up between various other item you weren't looking for. If you like to hunt for plants, this might please you. Secondly, plants are not well-cared for. After all - you'll get a good price but some plants will be totally dry and others will be soaked. Are all the plants name-brands? Nope. But they are cheaper than your fave nursery. You will find pleasing items and drop cash. The problem might be finding a cart. The young workers were too gabby to bring in carts. I even asked where they kept them - "oh, there around" as they went back to chatting. Nope - carts were all in the parking lot or being used. Does anyone want to actually work? Considering the longer drive and the cart hassle, I'd prefer name brand plants and a closer nursery.

I had heard many great things about this place and finally had time on a weekend to make a drive over and check it out. I needed some pumpkins and mums and didn't leave empty-handed. I got pumpkins for carving, decorative ones, three different colored mums, some gourds, and many Halloween/harvest decorations. I was super happy with my purchases and so was my credit card company!

The worst part of this market is in their name. Produce!! Third time I bought apples that look great on the outside but rotten on the inside side. Shame on me but I've leaned my lesson now. Prices are high as well. Bread prices especially. They built this mansion of a market and passed the cost onto the consumers.

My last visit to Niagara Market during Covid 19 conditions was to pick of veggie plants to start my summer garden. The garden center selection was still pretty empty but there was enough of a choice to get what I wanted. These included various tomatoes, lettuces, peppers, onion bulbs, and bean seeds (only thing I have any luck growing from seed). Everyone was wearing masks and the checkout counter was blocked with plexiglass to keep everyone protected. Simple process. My normal stops here include a visit into the store to buy produce and items at the deli counter. They usually have decent prices in those departments along with great sales. I find their other grocery items a bit higher priced and there mostly for the convenience. Great place to shop.

Stopped in before Thanksgiving to pick up a few items for my dinner and loved the atmosphere. The produce section of the store is phenomenal ! I also purchased a few items from the meat counter. This place is difficult to just walk in and out of. You find yourself looking around for something else to buy. There is so much to see, the food is fresh and the staff is very nice and helpful. There is an area to get prepared foods. A place to sit and enjoy indoor if you decide to take a little break. Sandwiiches, soups and whatever else you can imagine. As well as a little convient store setting. As you go a bit deeper inn and along the outside you can select beautiful plants and flowers. Holiday decor and anything else you can imagine. I wanted some greens for my dinner and I could not believe the size of them Picture posted below

Great place to do your shopping. Fresh fruit, vegetables and wonderful meat department. They also have a section for pets and children and flowers galore in their nursery area. Highly recommend

A huge nursery/produce center, that expanded and now carries meats and other grocery items. You can find a few household items like cleaners and clothes. You have available to you dairy items, deli department, butchers section, and bake goods. You also have a large variety of honey, sponge candy and other local products There is a eating section, if you want some carry out food. Great location and a great stop before you go home.

Pleanty of fall flowers and pumpkins.

They harge 7 times for one item and ask if you want your receipt. Most people say no and they get away with it. This stealing.

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!

Wanted to bring my 1.5 Year old somewhere a bit more lowkey than the big wigs in town and also wanted to knock out pumpkins and apple picking at the same time- enter Blackman Homestead Farm. It ticked those boxes and also delicious slushies (apple cider and grape) just a missed opportunity for delicious pastries (hmm cinnamon donuts!) We thank goodness read Darlene's review about making a reservation and did that the day of around noon and was able to get in at 330! The reservation is made online and the farm is FREE to enter (amazing) but can't be changed or cancelled, however you only need it per carload, so unless you're bringing another car, you can tack on extra folks. We purchased some apples we picked (it was pretty low in the season to pick off the trees) and some that were all set for you in bins, a pumpkin, some cider, a tiny pumpkin and were surprised by the price. Gently it was not as expensive as I thought. Parking was quick and easy on a later Saturday afternoon, with a quick Hi to the Turkeys, some exploring around the pumpkins and picking some apples we had a good time after about an hour and half. I did noticed that it was well organized and lots of folks did disregard the signs: don't feed the Turkeys (grass) and pick up the apples you drop off the tree. There were alot of half eaten, throw apples on the ground which made me kind of sad. Please respect someone's rules and property, it's so nice to be able to come see the farm for free, I hope that doesn't change.

I go here for all my annuals, and all my herbs that I grow. I used to buy veggie plants, too, but now I just focus on flowers and herbs. Their selection is wonderful, and they are always fully-stocked. They have tons of plants, and several different vendors. Good news is, the prices are basically the same so there's no need to shop around- but some vendors focus more on one thing than others. There's the herb and vegetable plant seller, and the one that focuses more on flowers. Then the one in the back sells everything- but they each have their own unique items. I try to purchase form everyone to spread the wealth. There is a vendor who has a "farmers market" but it's not a real farmers market. They are selling food that you get at supermarkets- produce form California, Mexico, et. They are NOT selling local farm stand items, so if you want a farmers market experience where you support your local farmers- DO NOT buy form this one. This is my really big negative gripe about this place. The parking lot is also atrocious!! there are more potholes, crumbling asphalt, and dips than there is smooth pavement! I have to drive 5mps through the whole place! They could use a new parking lot - it's really bad. There's also a flea market of sorts in the far back that is there sometimes, not other items- I went to look once, but it seemed like a lot of junk, and nothing I was interested in. I will say this place is an odd mix of things, but the flower vendors for my garden are irreplaceable, an I will always com here to stock my garden every year!
