The provide a poncho (way better than the cave of the winds poncho, if you are doing both, save this one), the poncho of course is to protect you from the water, because that is what poncho's do. You have two choices here. 1) You can stay on the bottom deck of the boat, and I hear you can remain fairly dry, but I cannot attest to that as, you are at Niagara Falls, you should be on the top deck, getting wet! 2) The Top deck, the Upper decker, they have some seating up here, and great views. The boat navigates so that all sides of the boat get equal views of the falls and get to experience the massive mist generated, no it's not raining on you it's the falls. So, don't be one of those pushing into people/groups to get your shot, be patient you will get your turn. Yes there will be people taking selfies for the entire duration or groupies (not sure what its called if its more than 1), Yes they will claim part of the deck for the entire trip, this is easy resolved with a gentle nudge as they enjoy a small quick journey overboard and get the VIP experience. Wait no, don't actually do that, just ask people to move and/or take a picture of you with the falls in the background. Everyone was friendly!

The tour was neat and included history about alpacas and their origins (Andes Mountains) in Peru...and facts about how to care for them sheering and more! You're able to feed the alpacas and just so you aware there are specific rules you must follow for your safety and generally alpacas are not huggable animals. The goats were super friendly and my son who is almost 7 loved petting and feeding them. Overall, the tour was super informative and interesting and the shop afterwards is super cute and has a variety of options for you to purchase produces from alpaca sheeting or just memories from the trip. We came out to celebrate some birthdays and check out all the animals. Our tour guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable and nice. He made a lot of good jokes too which I appreciated. The animals were all excited to see us since we were in the first tour of the day. My son loved seeing all the big bison come right up to the side of the bus and eat the food from his cup. The tour ended and we got some lunch at the counter service spot in the lodge. The burger was delicious and the fries tasted great too. I had a bite of the Buffalo chicken panini as well and it was so good. The best part about the food was that for two adult meals and a kids meal with drinks only came out to $30. For how the world is right now, that is so awesome to see. It made the day feel very affordable and family friendly. We also checked out the petting zoo which was filled with goats, donkeys, and even a couple kangaroos! What a great day out at the farm. We will definitely be back again.

After the history exhibit, you descend 125 feet and explore 130-year-old tunnels through the bedrock, where you can feel the thunderous vibration of the Horseshoe Falls long before you see them. The cave-like portals that open behind the falling water, allow you to see, hear and feel the power of the falls up-close from a unique viewpoint. Then make your way to the lower observation deck at the foot of this 13-storey-tall wonder where you stand just feet away from the mighty Niagara Falls, surrounded by the ancient rock formations carved by centuries of flow. Tip- don't buy anything from the private tours, buy directly from Niagara parks and you will save with the Wonder pass. February 2026- Adult ticket for Behind the Falls is $28, wonder pass is $65 and includes power plant $33 and Take Flight $33 and two days of unlimited railway, plus others. So unless you are doing only one activity, get the Wonder pass.
